You guys want to fight? Let's gank Amman, then!
We gotta be pretty close to one another if we all just crossed the portal... Auron uses Dimension Door to bring the whole party next to Amman! :D
Erd
Spur mount nonlethal: 1d3 ⇒ 1 Puts us at 140 ft., which is just enough for Erd's reach to hit, I think.
Erd kicks Bili into motion, digging in her heels and roaring at Amman. Her beast thunders towards the man as Erd leans forward to slash at his neck with her longsword.
Question: Can I have Bili charge without Erd charging with her? If not, they'll instead both charge a vanilla ceustodaemon. (Dimension door is great but Erd gets pretty useless with just a full attack.)
Erd's longsword vs. Amman (challenge, elevation): 1d20 + 23 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 23 + 3 + 1 = 28 Damage (sandstorm (charging mount), challenge, order of the sword): 6d6 + 33 + 39 + 24 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 3, 5, 5) + 33 + 39 + 24 = 124 1/3 challenges left.
Bili's bite (charge, banner): 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 14 + 2 + 1 = 37 Damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 Confirmation (charge, banner): 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 14 + 2 + 1 = 33 Extra damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Hah! Well even more useless with a charge apparently. Though Bili's at least on the ball.
Erd's longsword vs. ceustodaemon (charge, banner, elevation, colossus hunter): 1d20 + 23 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 23 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 41 Damage (sandstorm (charging mount), colossus hunter, order of the sword): 6d6 + 33 + 3 + 24 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 4, 4, 2) + 33 + 3 + 24 = 82
Bili's overrun CMB vs. ceustodaemon (charge, banner, Improved Overrun, Greater Overrun): 1d20 + 18 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 18 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 2 = 38
If that's 5 or more over ceustodaemon's CMD:
Erd's AOO (banner, elevation, colossus hunter, prone target): 1d20 + 23 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 23 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 4 = 41 Damage (sandstorm (charging mount), colossus hunter): 6d6 + 33 + 3 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 4, 2, 1) + 33 + 3 = 52 Bili's trample (banner, prone target): 1d20 + 12 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 1 + 4 = 30 Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 Bili's bite AOO (banner, prone target): 1d20 + 14 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 14 + 1 + 4 = 20 Damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Probably enough to kill it.
DM.
Erd attack is stoped by Amman Sword (She would have hitted ihs FF AC with a 2). Bili attack on the other hand is more effective (21 of damge for Amman).
One regular Ceustodaemon move toward Amman and cast a SLA on him.
Other five move to be at 30 ft of Erd and spit a line of fire (Save for half, 5 diferent saves for ERD and Bili)
Ref DC 17: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 3, 5, 2) = 13

THe otehr six fly toward the rest of hte party and cast SLA (HOld monster DC 17, two times each of you).
Aurons turn.
Auron Luckstride
Do all custo-daemon act at the same time? And how many are there?
Will: 2d20 ⇒ (18, 11) = 29 I only fail on a Nat 1.
Auron invokes the power of Oghma and blesses his friends. (Blessing of Fervor on everyone)
Cast on the Defensive: (DC = 15+8 = 23): 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (3) + 21 = 24
If that fails, I use my reroll from Luck Domain. 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (14) + 21 = 35
Erd
My worst save!
I'm disregarding the 6th roll there:
Erd's Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Erd's Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Erd's Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Erd's Reflex: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Bili's Reflex: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Bili's Reflex: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Erd's at 90/138. With evasion, Bili's at 102/122.
Auron Luckstride
BTW, if for some reason Sun Xiao and Garren can't flank with each other even after one or both take a 5ft step, I use a 5ft ste to allow at lest one of them to flank (preferably Garren, as he ahs Sneak Attack. :P)
Auron Luckstride
lemmy, Perhaps ther eis a misunderstanding (yes, I promiso not to desing more 3D battles). At least Amman is at the other side of the sphere 50 ft away (or more if you can not fly)
Which is why I used DD to take everyone there.
Garren Emeraldeyes

Garren withdraws through the Ceustodaemons and is enshrouded by shadows. He moves directly for Amman, seeking to attempt to disrupt some spellcasting.
Taking 10 on Stealth for a 53.

GArren moves without problems. The two armored cesutos with spears move to stay outside your reach and then they deliver a cone of electricity agaisnt Sun, Auron and Erd.

Forgot to say, our ACs are down a couple points from the charge. These daemons seem to be doing pretty well just blasting us though.
OH and Erd's AC vs. everyone but Amman's attacks is down another 2 points.
Sun Xiao
Reflex: 2d20 ⇒ (3, 10) = 13
Schweet.
Sun shrugs off the majority of the lightning and charges to the spear Ceustodaemon standing between him and Amman, and punches him several times in the solar plexus.

THe CEusto react quick enough to pierce Sun defenses before the Human could reach him (17 dmg unless snake style). Sun can strike directly into the Daemon chest but he feels the armor absorbed a lot of the damage, the Spear daemon seems hurt but it is still alive.
Erd
Is that a Charge or just running fast and attacking, Rynjin? If it is the former you get +1 to-hit from the cavalier banner.
DM.
Your death will be bloody and painful.[/b]
Amman: Whatever you think you know about death is nothing!
Shout Amman. He seems to enter a trance, his Eyes becomes totally white and his body start emanating a moderate arcane power creating several images of himself (mirror image)
Number of mirror images: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
He then start casting provoking from Garren, so, lets see that AoO first.
Garren Emeraldeyes
Garren's eyes betray him as Amman's images play havoc with his senses.
Tch, I'm a riskier gambler than he takes me for!
Shutting his eyes and relying on pure luck instead, Garren thrusts his Rapier wildly!
Rapier AoO!: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20Damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Total Concealment Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 86

Erd
Finally getting to use my 9th-level horselord ability. Basically I can use Spring Attack with my mount's movement, and I treat my mount as charging when I do so.
Erd's adamantine longsword vs. spear-wielding ceusto (colossus hunter, elevation): 1d20 + 23 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 23 + 1 + 1 = 42 Damage (as one, sandstorm, Spirited Charge, colossus hunter, mounted mastery): 6d6 + 33 + 3 + 24 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 5, 4, 5) + 33 + 3 + 24 = 90
Erd's AC is +4 dodge vs. AOOs due to movement, -2 vs. anyone but Amman. Bili's AC is as normal. As we are using Spring Attack on the spear-wielding custarddemon, neither of us provoke from it.
Auron Luckstride

Doesn't the AoO happen before he casts the spell?
DM.
Unable to distinghush is target Garren's rapier misses (Btw, it is not totall concealement but Mirror image, AKA, there are 7 images, roll a 1d7 and if you roll 1 then youhit the correct one, otherwise you would dispel an image).
Amman is able to continue his casting

He closed his eyes. If you're not distracted by the images, you can just listen for your opponent's movement and take the 50% chance (according to paizo discussions). I'm not sure you'd still get to take an AOO after closing them, though.
I see, I missed it. I've always liked that trick, I also think that shutting one eyes should last until the next turn, but well, whatever. I edited my last post, is now Auron turn

I don't see why closed eyes should last 'til the next round. IMHO, that doesn't make sense neither for realism nor for game balance.

Sorry I didn't check the map after my turn. I was Spring Attacking vs. the spear ceusto and then moving up to threaten the tower shield one. Just sort of fixed it on the map (can't remember where my original position was so the line isn't accurate), so you might want to readjust the daemon positioning slightly.

Sun darts in, swooping down below (or above?) the cuestodaemons to get to Amman.

He shuts his eyes, ignoring the images and focuses on hitting at where he can hear Amman's heartbeat.
50% Miss: 2d100 ⇒ (40, 52) = 92
Actually, wait one second. Before I make my actual attack roll, I wanna know if you'd allow Perfect Strike to be used with Unarmed Strikes? If so, I grab that instead of Disruptive. I believe I'll be attempting a Knockout punch, but I want some measure of assurance that I'll at least HIT. =)

Uh... How does Vampiric Touch affect Sun Xiao?
BTW, we should have a standardized order for resisting multiple effects (I suggest alphabetical order) and a standardized resolution for % chances (I suggest the effect happens when the die rolls lower than the %, like we do in OSB)
It doesn't matter what standard we use, as long as we stick to it.
