They are ten feet max from the center of the campfire, so that puts the light ten feet further than Rurik's light spell. It is as if you moved the center of Rurik's light spell ten feet west; it would move the area of normal light ten feet further west. Each light pushes the normal light area ten feet further in each direction. Edit: I just realized I drew the original radius of Rurik's light spell as 30' normal 60' dim. It should have been 20' normal 40' dim. The dancing lights push these out ten feet in each direction, so the map now is corrected and shows normal light out to 30' and dim out to 50'.

In case it matters, Dom would know that it was not an arrow from the west that hit him but a javelin. An arrow was apparently fired at Rurik from the same direction as the enemy approaching the camp from the NE.

Domitian fights the snow drifts to forge a path west. He is not able to detect an an enemy, however.

Damiano stands and steps out of the tent.

Since the ground is difficult terrain, he can't take a five foot step, so this requires two move actions: one to stand and one to move (the tent flaps are not tied open so he can't see out without moving or taking a move action to tie open the tent flaps). He can move ten more feet if he wants to be somewhere besides right outside the tent. The spell will have to wait. If you want to retcon and take a different action or cast a spell on himself within the tent, you may.

Sorry. The map showed him still prone and I scanned up the posts to see if I saw one from Damiano that involved standing, but I should have just checked my melee record.

After Domitian runs into the dim light, Rurik casts a light spell on his shield. (The light spell he cast on the campsite is dispelled, but the dancing lights keep the general light level steady). The rough terrain on the rock top forces Rurik to step carefully, so he has not gotten off the rock yet. Top of the rock on which you camped is difficult terrain, due to being uneven.

Nadya stands, handaxe drawn, and swings it at the wikkawak below, drawing blood. 6 damage.

No post from Erland yet, but I'll assume he crawls from his tent and stands, which will take the round.

Damiano steps from the tent and sends a coruscating ray at the Wikkkawak at the edge of the camp, The ray strikes the creature, but his strong constitution limits its effectiveness. -3 to strength for 4 rounds.

Nadya struggles against the iron grip of the Wikkawak grappling her and cannot break free.

Khristov moves light closer to the wikkawak attacking Domitian, eliminating the dim lighting.

I'm going to assume Erland moved 15' toward Domitian before releasing Fiske to deliver his touch spell. Otherwise, Fisk can only get 30' with a double move.

The wikkawak near Nadya abandons his attempt to nab the slippery human and instead smells something tasty in the nearby tent. It steps closer in a surprisingly nimble move given the snow, and it tries to pull on some of the tent cords holding Nadya's tent with her children in it. He is unable to pull the tent stakes loose however.

Normally, moving five feet in difficult terrain would provoke an AOO, but wikkawaks have special movement abilities that allow it to take a five foot step in difficult terrain. So Nadya does not get an AOO.

Feeling the tent shift, Nadya's two children begin to cry.

Was that a flicker of movement in the dim light NE of camp? A DC 24 perception check will allow a character to spot the sniper with the javelins in the shadows.

The wikkawak to the west chooses to attack Rurik, and although Dom tries to tip the battleaxe as it swings past, he is not able to deflect it enough to prevent the blade from slicing into Rurik's side. Minimum damage, 8 points.

I will post the new initiative list and conditions this evening, but if anyone wants to take their next round action, have at it. Sorry for the delay in posting. "Oh, you're not getting away just yet!" says Dom, as the enemy flees. Dropping his falcata, he moves in pursuit, drawing and then hurling a spear at the enemy.

Thrown Spear, range penalty: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 - 2 = 11; Damage: 1d8 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 4 = 13; Concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 94

It would seem that the enemy is, in fact, getting away.

Glaring for a moment at the creature that struck her, Ingrit focuses first on bringing down the oner the went after the children, moving forward and taking the shot.

W2: CMB vs 18: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

Domitian throws a spear into the dim light, but cannot hit the fleeing wikkawak. Rurik's spiritual weapon keeps pace and swings but misses as well. Nadya leaps from the raised ground of the camp and attacks the fleeing wounded brute who had tried to steal her children, but she cannot get to a good footing in the snow and her handaxe misses.

Khristov, weakened by illness, cannot bring himself to give chase, and bends over, feeling a wave of pain in his joints, and tries to catch his breath.

Erland?

Damiano moves closer to the javelin thrower and tries to catch him in a web. A silver streak emits from his outstretched finger and makes a straight line to the wikkawak and explodes into a mass of sticky webs. The wikkawak is caught off guard and is stuck in the web. But he is able to break free and move north through the tangle of webs and snow. He only is able to move ten feet this round, putting him ten feet from the edge to the north. Note that the first 20 feet of trees provide cover. After that, trees provide concealment. Also shooting an arrow through webs provide cover for the first 20 feet and concealment after that.

Erland draws out his crossbow and loads it, whistling for Fiske to return.

"Stay away, foul creatures. You will not find food here, only pain and death. Go seek easier prey, or pay with your foolish lives."

Erland tries to appear stronger than he feels, leveling his crossbow with only slightly shaky hands.

Sorry.

Ingrit's arrow hit the wikkawak fleeing north, but the arrow did not penetrate his hide shirt and his tough hide.

Anyone else want to take a parting shot at the fleeing foes. One is still fighting his way out of a web and another is staggered, so something might end their threat. Wikkawaks have a taste for human flesh, so they might choose to attempt another attack.
