Guo takes the potion vial like a delicate egg, he nods in understanding and steps back out of view. The giralon approaches without much care for stealth as Aurin waits to attack. Suddenly the two-headed giralon sticks his head around the corner at ground level, coming face to face with the monk.

The beast continues to test your nerve as a fireball and a sucker punch seems to only annoy it. It strikes back but appears to be thrashing out it's flaming fur thus missing completely.

Huh? How many turns has it been?...You were either cursed or being tested for the Madmen academy. Or the other possibility, you were Mazed… with a bunch of monkeys… No, that couldn’t be it, unless none of the stories about the Lady were true but instead she had some sense of demented fiend humor. Transcending is turning out to be rather dull and seemingly endless. That’s probably how Powers became Powers – they just got themselves stuck in some dimensional hole like this and waited until eternity was over, then tah-dah everyone’s dead and you are God. What is that noise? At least you figured it out, the riddle and trap you’ve come to know - 'You can only leave on more than four legs'. What is that noise?!

The sound is not the usual fight among the garilons over which of their dungs tasted better, this sounded like….”Escape!”

Breeze says a quick prayer and reaches out with his disembodied hand and touches Aurin letting the healing energy flow.

The first of Aurin's combination hits target, the rest giving way to bad luck. Breeze repairs the monk's lacerations with a simple spell. Meanwhile the giralon tries to frighten off the intruders but it's threats seems to have worn thin. It continues to fight off the monk.

With a tremendous thud and monkey whimpers, the girallon falls dead from multiple concussions to the heads. It lets out it's final breath which sounds oddly like, "ba-na-na..." The path ahead is silent.

"I'm going! Cover me if you are able!" Aurin moves quickly now to close on the area indicated by Breeze's spell. He ducks, hides and moves as quickly and silently as able.

Breeze beckons Guo to follow and quickly starts moving down the path.

"Hold on to that potion Guo you might still have need for it.
Stay in sight of Aurin I am going scouting ahead."

Then he grasps his amulet and uses it as a component to recall and cast a spell that will transform him back into elemental form and starts moving down the path.

change back to small elemental and fly down the path


Breeze floats ahead coming to an area that the just departed ettin giralon used as it's post and lair. Some items of planar make lay scattered in the dirt.

Breeze vanishes and press on into the next chamber, finding it to be a larger cavern with high ceiling. The ground is depressed towards the center, baring a multitude of footprints all over the area, seemingly a gathering point of sorts. There is a blind corner to the left.

You turn the corner to see an the framework of a massive door on the far western side of the room. Though no door actually hangs there;; instead, blocking the path is a sleeping ettin girallon, hunched over in a seated position, apparently not having heard the commotion moments ago.

You dont need to role Stealth every round, just once per encounter unless GM needs more. But why was Aurin's last Stealth 20 and now 15? We are in open rounds so act freely.

Aurin's Stealth was 21, everytime you choose reroll means you are reattempting and overridding with new roll, which is now 17...was it your intention to try beat the 21 roll?

Yes you have room to fly over. It will provoke another Perceptioin check.

Breeze takes a deep breath and flys past the sleeping figure hoping not to disturb it.

The beast remains asleep as Breeze take the only way across the blocked path.
