Well its like the big thing I get, Ranger seems a little lackluster in comparison to everyone else over the long haul, gotta flaunt it while I got it :p
Hey, that extra 1d6 damage to creatures on 2nd and subsequent turns is nothing to sneer at. I'd choose you any day to help take down a boss.
Rangers get MAGIC! How is that lackluster? And the situational bonuses are pretty tasty.
No no, I don't mean to grouse like I am getting *nothing*. reports from the front line of the playtest is that over time the ranger sort of levels out, the magic is "okay" and basically they don'y seem to scale as well as the other fighter types but I always take that with a grain of salt.
All told I think it is going pretty well and I am excited for level 2. Uruk is hard to play, its been a long time since I had a character so obviously "hampered" in a specific way but so far I am liking it.

I'm kinda keen to actually get Kemek back together at some point. The idea of wild shaping into a hound's head on a stick isn't so wonderful. For now, head on a stick it is.

Didn't really take it that way, Uruk. I felt the same way about rangers in PF til I played one from 1-16?ish. There are times when you're not fighting your favored enemy, where you're apologizing to the party "Sorry, guys, I'm doing my best..." but when you're fighting your favored enemy you're apologizing to the GM "Oh I'm sorry, was that the BBEG? Should he have lived through the surprise round?"
It looks like that'll be true in 5/Next as well.

Everyone, I hate to do this, but im going to have to close the campaign. My work schedule has increased to the point where I barely see my family, and what little time I have left I dont have time to prepare for my game. I hate to do it, but my little girl needs to spend more time with her daddy.
Its been a blast, and you all have been great roleplayers! If time permits ill pick this back up later, but I understand if that does not happen. Everyone, I wish you all the best!
