Senketsu and Yurei finally finish off the creature. The remaining cultists shocked at the defeat flee for their lives. With the sun’s rise, a new day begins in Ravenmoor. A chorus of cawing ravens rings out over the village as hundreds of the birds descend on the feast’s remnants. The birds gorge themselves on the spoiling food, and not a single soul stirs within the village. Shops remain closed, rapped doors go unanswered, and the ferry does not cross the Lampblack this day. Even before word spreads of the massacre at the Chenowitz place, the people of Ravenmoor can feel a difference in the air—their lives have changed forever. Many of the villagers find it difficult to believe that their beloved mayor—that the Dream Tender—had anything but the town’s best interests at heart, and you find yourselves unwelcome in Ravenmoor. However, you are able to find the corpse of Elias Kyle and make it back to Heidmarch Manor where Venture Captain Sheila waits for a report.

Darius' wounds seem to heal, though he appears pale as if a lot of his blood has been drained.
Even when he's physically healed he still remains unconscious.
Over the next couple of days of rest Darius will come around on his own.
"So it appears we made it then..." is the first thing he says as he wakes up.
"Next time i will have to bring along some bug repellent. I did not know i was so tasty!" he says with a weak chuckle.

Senketsu pets Yurei behind the ear and hops off the wolf, using a cloth to get mosquito gore from the Wolf's jaw. Smiling at their friends the Wayang pats Marduk as hogh on the back as they can.
"Hmm, this one thinks you need bed rest before we go back, so does Darius. Let us use the Mayor's Manor, they have no need. This one will help Marduk?"
Making their way back to lodgings, Senketsu sets Yurei to guard the door from villager reprisal and sighs at the villagers retorts.
"Mayor was bad yes? Fooled all villagers, this is sad. But this one is glad we succeeded and that This one met you all. Thankyou."
