Adventures in Generica (Inactive)

Game Master Sawyer Masonjones

Epic journey through the mystical and silly lands of Generica. Map

1 to 50 of 112 << first < prev | 1 | 2 | 3 | next > last >>

Welcome to the land of Generica, a land full of brash heroes and Napoleonic villains! A land where fantasy tropes abound and puns run rampant.

The World of Generica:

The world itself is specifically left undefined. Players can, and are even encouraged, to make up whatever they want about it. But be warned - it is a rather silly place.

The Game:

I'm looking for 4-6 players looking for a game that is less serious than the standard fare on these forums. The campaign itself will be a epic journey though the lands of Generica, mostly using whatever classic modules I can scrounge up. If you have any suggestions for which ones, please PM me.

Don't mistake silliness though for a lack of roleplaying. I expect that the game should have a lot of roleplaying to it and I am looking for players willing to do that.

Still interested? Here's character creation:

Ability scores will be generated by dice with 5d6 drop the lowest 2.

Start at level 3, with appropriate gold

2 traits AND a drawback. Can take and additional drawback for a third.

I prefer core classes and races, but if you make a character I like, I'll ignore it. Other than that, any paizo book can be used and 3rd party upon review. For simplicity, Golarion gods and ethnicities will be used.

Generally, I am looking for characters that are parodies of tropes. The lawful - stupid paladin, the haughty, hermit wizard, the crafty theif etc. But you are not bound to them. If you have a strong, humorous character concept, I'll consider the character.

Backstories are appreciated, but not required. Everyone should, however, write a short paragraph giving the cliffnotes on the character, including those who write a backstory.

The game will begin at a tavern called The Corner Inn, a tavern notorious for the beginnings of adventure.

Recruitment will go one for a couple weeks, but if it starts to peter out and I have enough people, I will end it early.

If you are looking for a more serious game, may I interest you in a gritty, low magic game which I am running recruitment concurrently with here?

This sounds fun, I will rejigger Clyde McClod. A Jethro Clambett clones from Beverley Hillbillies who is a LUMBERJACK!

I'll submit and rejigger (good word) Sergeant Neville. I originally built him for a totally different campaign, but I think he could work just as well here. Consider him the parody of police everywhere: Hot fuzz meets Bad boys 2 meets Sam Vimes.

As a possible backstory, he is the 2nd in charge in a small town's guard regiment, but dreams of one day being the commandant of the whole country... even the whole world!

Id love to recrunch this guy as a knife fighter or other sort of rogue but will understand if he doesn't fit the bill of this game although if funny and silly is what youre looking for then look no further.

Dice:

5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 4, 3) = 17 - 12
5d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 1, 3) = 16 - 14
5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 3, 3, 5) = 20 - 14
5d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 5, 6) = 18 - 14
5d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 3, 6, 2) = 22 - 17
5d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 6, 6) = 22 - 16

Well what about the dwarven rogue called Sneezy or a dwarven druid named Sleepy .... I like the druid thing...hmm...likes to turn into a bush baby ... or sloth ... or any sleepy animal...obviously a miner ... maybe even a cave druid ... but druid will do ... I'll have to make him up ...

Can't beat nicking something from a fairy story ...

Even if that's not what I end up with a game like this sounds fun ....

N.B. In a PFS game (not online) a rougue of mine that had been to the well of thirst, ended up going straight into combat with some big old orcs, first thing he did was swipe a potion from the orc's belt and drank it ... it's how my characters can role sometimes.

dice:

Not a great lot of rolls ... oh well ...

Str 5d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 2, 5) = 17 = 14
Dex 5d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 4, 3) = 17 = 12
Con 5d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 4, 6) = 15 = 13 + 2
Int 5d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 4, 1) = 10 = 8
Wis 5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 4, 6) = 19 = 14 + 2
Cha 5d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 2, 3, 1) = 14 = 11 - 2

Dotting this fantastic campaign.

dice:

5d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 3, 3) = 19 = 15
5d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 5, 3) = 18 = 14
5d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 5, 4) = 17 = 13
5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 2, 1) = 14 = 11
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 1, 6) = 14 = 12
5d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 6, 1) = 24 = 18

Dice:

5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 6, 3, 4) = 18=13
5d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 2, 2) = 19=15
5d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 4, 2) = 14=11
5d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 2, 2) = 17=13
5d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 5, 6) = 20=16
5d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 6, 6) = 26=17

Oh, I forgot to mention this. You are allowed to "even out" stats by moving an odd point from a higher score to a lower one. Little house rule I have.

HP rolls for levels 2-3

HP: 1d10 ⇒ 10
HP: 1d10 ⇒ 5

OMG, is 3PP stuff allowed? I have some crazy ideas!

I prefer Core>Other Paizo>3pp, but yes, you can use 3pp material. However any 3pp material must be approved.

dice:

5d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 1, 2) = 11=>9
5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 3, 2) = 13=>9
5d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6, 5, 2) = 21=>16
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1, 5, 3) = 15=>13
5d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 1, 1, 4) = 12=>10
5d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 4, 4) = 17=>13

decidedly average rolls - (14pt)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

A Discworld style troperific cliché-fest? Definitely dotting for interest.

Neville, I have decide that stats whose point buy equivalent is below 15 may be rerolled

Poogslurp here, in all my alabaster splendor! ^_^

I have some ideas for some great modules, but the monsters would need to be converted from AD&D. And I can keep OOC knowledge apart from IC knowledge.

Dice:
5d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 5, 6) = 21 = 17
5d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 1, 6) = 16 = 14
5d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 3, 3) = 19 = 14
5d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 5, 5) = 25 = 16
5d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 1, 6) = 24 = 18
5d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 4, 6, 6) = 25 = 18
Guess I can work with that.

So many good clichés, so many ideas...
The super naive pure hearted paladin, perhaps even a prince, leaving his throne to help the downtrodden?
The dumb as a brick fighter?
The wild-child druid, raised by animals?
The exiled ranger, heir to a throne?
The noble barbarian from the outer reaches of the world?
The crotchety old dwarven smith, returning to the world for one last adventure?
The wily thief, with a heart of gold?
The brilliant old wizard, absent minded and lost all the time?
Decisions, decisions...

I may have to make two submissions; one of a more traditional trope, and a second depicting something a little more out there...

Alright I've had an idea for a comedic character for a while.

I'm thinking of essentially playing Glorian from the amazing JourneyQuest Series.

Watching the series I came to the realization that he's not a fighter or "knight" at all, that's just fluff.

At his core he is a wild, violent character prone to bouts of "Righteousness" during which he slays any and all with unnatural enthusiasm. Wary of sorcery, he defeats clever magics and riddles by simply hitting them harder with his sword.

To me these are all the Hallmarks of an armored barbarian with both the Superstitious and Spell Sunder rage powers. I'm thinking the fatigue after entering a "righteous fury" can be fluffed as incessant boasting about his own prowess moments earlier.

Stat Rolls:
5d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 2, 2) = 15 = 12
5d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 3, 6) = 19 = 14
5d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 4, 2, 1) = 16 = 13
5d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 6, 2, 6) = 16 = 14
5d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 5, 4) = 22 = 15
5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 1, 2) = 9 = 7

15, 14, 14, 13, 12, 7 Sigh, rolling makes concepts hard sometimes :P

At least I have a proper score for his Int :P can't picture him as having decent Wis though. Could I maybe drop the 13 to an 8 and pump a 14 to a 16? or even just the 15 to 16 and lose 2 points for the privilege?

Let me know if you think Glory would be a solid candidate for your game and I'll stat him up! "Onwaaard!"

"The Guardian is the river! It will take all my bravery to defeat it!"

I'm almost tempted to make Perf to accompany you.

I find this idea intriguing. If I come up with a character concept, I'll submit it.

My schedule's too crazy to add another game, but someone should totally make a Dhampir Cleric of Pharasma to accompany Glory. ;-)

Here are Clyde's stats. If accepted I will make a profile.

Clyde is a lumberjack! While he doesn't want to wear women's clothing, he is a firm believer of flannel shirts, beards, knit caps
and big boots. He is also a member of the local millita when not out in the woods and enjoys a stein of ale and stew when
not at work.

Just in case I manage to think of a brilliant character concept...

5d6 - 1 - 4 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 6, 1) - 1 - 4 = 16
5d6 - 3 - 3 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 3, 3) - 3 - 3 = 16
5d6 - 1 - 4 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 6, 1) - 1 - 4 = 15
5d6 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (2, 2, 3, 4, 6) - 2 - 2 = 13
5d6 - 1 - 3 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 3, 1) - 1 - 3 = 17
5d6 - 1 - 1 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 1, 2) - 1 - 1 = 10

Dice take 2:

5d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 2, 5) = 16 => 13 -> 14
5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 4, 5) = 18 => 14
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 5, 4) = 17 => 14
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 5, 4) = 21 => 16
5d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 2, 1, 3) = 11 => 9 -> 8
5d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 6, 3) = 18 => 14

Hahaha, thanks GM, that is heaps better. The most balanced all rounder EVER. (28-pt buy, double last times)

Some questions o' DM...
1. What is the breakdown of Action to RP? Are we talking very RP heavy and light on combat or more balanced?

2. Do you intend to use maps in combat or will it be more narrative and/or free-form?

Here goes my shot:
5d7 ⇒ (2, 7, 2, 2, 7) = 20
5d7 ⇒ (4, 4, 2, 6, 3) = 19
5d7 ⇒ (5, 4, 7, 6, 1) = 23
5d7 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 3, 5) = 14
5d7 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 5, 3) = 18
5d7 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 3, 7) = 22

Whoops, screwed that up. Let's try that again...

5d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 2, 5) = 21
5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) = 15
5d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 1, 6, 1) = 20
5d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 5, 5, 4) = 25
5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 4, 3) = 15
5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 5, 5) = 16

Okay, so 15, 12, 18, 16, 10, 13 - most excellent. I have a couple different mechanical ideas that all represent the same concept:

Gregor, the ubiquitous barkeep! Every great adventure in Generica starts in a tavern, inn, or meadhall just like The Corner Inn, and at each one there is a barkeep who helps bring the band of merry adventures together. Yet in the heart of every barkeep that helps unite a great adventuring band lies the burning passion to adventure themselves -

for the old, it is a hope that echoes back to younger years, when they were bold and strong, and possessed all their limbs... having lost far too many to the sharp fangs of dragons, the crushing claws of giants, the burning fires of elementals, etc... causing them to retire to the simple life of a barkeep... eternally cursed to hear the epic stories of other adventurers

for the young, it is the hope of escaping their quiet little town where the only excitement is the occasional bar fight started by the very adventuring band they previously helped unite... to be the hero... to save the day!!! This is the life of Gregor!

For Gregor, everything beyond his bar is exciting. To go on an adventure is to finally live the experiences he has heard tales of for oh so long. He is fearless to a fault, caught up in the heroic idolatry truly befitting of a fanboy-worshipper of Cayden Cailaen. He will fight, he will protect the innocent, he will woo the beautiful. He will be a herooooooooo!

------mechanics-------
All versions of the character will be Human (despite my love of all things halfling) as I feel human barkeeps fit the generic trope the best. All versions will spend the human bonus feat on "Catch Off Guard", granting the character proficiency in all the great and wondrous "weapons" that adorn a typical tavern (tankards, bottles, kegs, barstools, drunk halflings, etc.)

option 1: Oracle of Cayden Cailean
- blessed by Cayden to be his divine emissary on a grand-quest-yet-to-be-determined, Gregor has gained the gifts of his diety
- mystery: ancestor (his 'ancestor' is literally the ethereal remnants of the many adventuring tales he has heard at his bar that have merged and developed a subconscious essence inside him)
- curse: clouded vision (taverns are dark, and a barkeep never needs to see beyond his bar, so short range vision that works well in the dark makes perfect sense!)

option 2: Alchemist
- brewer/mixologist.... sound like alchemy to me? imagine every elixir, potion and extract is a tasty concoction whipped up by the enigmatic brewing barkeep
- bombs? sounds like molotov cocktails to me!
- portable alchemist's kit = portable bar
- mutagen: strength (alcohol makes you strong!!! and dumb!!!)

option 3: Bard (archaeologist)
- a barkeep is a quintessential jack-of-all-trades; they have dabbled in literally everything (sociable, lots of skills, decent combat, a bit of magic, and most importantly....)
- luck! a barkeep is lucky, and its that witty luck (rather than trained abilities) that gets them through the toughest of moments

option 4: Warpriest of Cayden Cailean
- (from *Advanced Class Guide playtest)
- similar to oracle concept, little more crusader-esque
- would hope for house-ruled Weapon Focus: "Catch Off Guard", thereby allowing all improvised weapons to benefit from Warpriest's 'Sacred Weapon' ability
- blessings: good, strength (wants to be a hero, booze makes you strong!)

I could see all these iterations multi-classing into either barbarian (drunken brute), fighter (brawler/unarmed fighter), or brawler (*advanced class guide). That said, they definitely do not have to if the DM so desires.

One question: you mentioned "even out" stats, how would you feel about someone taking from a high even and distributing that to lower odds, or taking from a high even and putting to a low even? Just curious.

Hoping to be considered for this campaign! Will begin work on the crunch for all iterations immediately.

@RVT Please, by all means, lay them on me.

@Rigor Make as many submissions as you like

@OtmShank - Glory seems like a good character for this campaign. Go ahead and stat him.

@Stormraven It's kind of up to the players for how much combat to roleplay we actually do. If I end up with a party that stabs every helpful NPC before their sudden and inevitable betrayal, so be it. If I have one that sits around a table and talks for the entire game, that's fine too. Both have merit and there will be plenty of opportunity to do both.

As for your second question, We'll do combat by description + a excel sheet for positioning.

@Wanderer - I love it! Multiclassing in either of those is fine. With the brawler, I'd even be willing to let you use unarmed dice for your improvised weapon damage dice, if higher.

You may also take WF: Improvised Weapon if you wish.

For evening, only 1 point may be allocated for any individual stat. If someone wants to take that from an even one, so be it.

Here's my pitch...

[Name to be Determined] is a gentle, peace-seeking, drifter... a wandering martial artist who dispenses pithy, mystical, frequently nonsensical, and fortune cookie wisdom on his long and winding road to self-enlightenment and total harmony with the universe. Yes, he is deeply dedicated to achieving peace with all beings... and yet in every episo... er 'adventure', he somehow manages to dispense as much enlightened ass-kicking as wisdom. Truly he is a man devoted to peace, and you can just ignore his brutally efficient and skilled martial arts training because that is in service to the goal of attaining spiritual oneness with all creatures. As Buddha said, "there is no disconnect between striving for harmony and practicing the art of ass-whooping 24/7."

Short version: Human Monk (probably sans archetype but I'm still thinking about that)
Imagine a lash-up of Cain (from Kung Fu), Mr, Miyagi (from Karate Kid), Bruce Lee, and every chop-sockey martial artist who is inexplicably dedicated to 'enlightenment' while brutally knocking in the teeth of bad guys - peace through warfare.

If you think your game might have room for this troperiffic character, let me know and I'll stat him up.

I like it. Stat him up.

Will do. How do you handle HPs at 2nd+ levels? Avg+1? Roll?

Either works, but its one or the other for the life of the character.

Hello. :)

This is Xane.. a very 'Non' standard character who's been having a good old romp in another very non standard game. :)

Just showing the stuff to see if the DM is interested.

(^_^)

Much cheers to every one.

Here's a character idea I've had for in mind for a bit and think would make for lots of role-play fun and silliness and serious dash of epic:

Bohunk the Barbarian

Fluff:

Bohunk. The hunkiest warrior, ever. His legends spans across the land and sea. His quest: to beat up the bad guys and look damn good doing it. He has traveled far and wide in search of things to hit and people to swoon over him.

A hulking beast of a man, mightily shouldered and deep of chest, with a corded neck and heavy muscled limbs. He proudly wears no armor, because, how are people supposed to swoon if they can’t see his awesomely huge muscle bursting all over the place? No, armor is no good for Bohunk. Armor is for sissies. Bohunk doesn’t wear too many clothes at all, actually. But his loincloth, gauntlets and headband that ties back his long flowing blonde hair makes him look damn good.

Bohunk likes anyone that compliments him. Flirtation or outright flattery work just as well. Bohunk dislikes anyone who talks down to him. Talking down to Bohunk is the same as asking to be smashed. Bohunk is happy to oblige. Bohunk is a good guy, so naturally Bohunk will lay the beat down on the bad guys. But Bohunk is also a Barbarian, a sexy Barbarian. And sexy Barbarians don’t care much for the petty laws of city folks. No, sexy Barbarians good-guys smash the bad guys and do as they damn well please.

I'd like to develop a bit more backstory, but this is a start.

Stat Dice:

5d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 4, 5) = 185d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 2, 4) = 155d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 1, 1) = 145d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5, 3, 3) = 145d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 1, 1) = 125d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 3, 6, 2) = 17
Commencing Stat Block Construction...

Alright, here's my tentative crunch. Might change the avatar still.

I can write up a tongue-in-cheek backstory for him but I feel Glory is best experienced in character and doesn't lend himself as well to such things. For a campaign like this it might be a good idea to open up a tavern scene or something in order to get a feel for these characters?

"As you can see I'm clearly the superior choice. As honorable and righteous as I am...righteous! My blade shall suffer no evil to live be they women, children or pacifist priest, my bravery knows no bounds!"

"Onwaaard!"

That's a good idea Glorian. Anybody with a completed character can go to the discussion section for some for test roleplaying.

OK, here is the crunch for Heiwa the wandering monk. I haven't bought equipment yet but his will be quite minimal. Please let me know if there are any other details you'd like me to provide.

Heiwa is originally from Quain and roams the world hunting for the black-hearted villain who slew his much beloved (and obviously lovable) sensei (played by Pat Morita in the made-for-TV movie). Um....do I fit the bill? (>_>)

Much cheers to all. :)

You have too much money and you need to be level 3. Best to do things from scratch

First Submission:

Yurian the Brave, Bold, Virtuous, and Pure.

Yurian was born to loving parents. The beloved King and Queen of Generica had waited long for a child, and were overwhelmed when they were blessed with not just one son, but with two; twins as alike as mirror images. Unfortunately, the night of their birth, the king's own brother, the dark mage Adversarius decided to make his move. In the deep of the night he struck, slaying the king and the queen in the midsts of their joy. Fortunately for Yurian, the queen's kindly old midwife was able to sneak away in the confusion, taking with her one of the babes, and defending herself from the corrupt guards with the broken stump of the king's own sword. The other, Yurian's brother, was kept by his dark uncle, to be raised in his own image, made hard and cruel, and to prove that his brother's line was just as capable of evil as his own.

The poor midwife was able to escape the castle, but not before being mortally wounded. She struggled on into the night , eventually stumbling in to what was the poorest village in the kingdom. There she met an elderly barren widow, who had long prayed for a child of her own. The midwife was able to pass on the child, but was unable to tell the tale of his birth before she died. Yurian grew up loved, but in the most humble of surroundings. On his tenth birthday, he was taken to the Temple of Light, to be dedicated to the pure one. The last of the peasant children to be dedicated that day, there was only the child himself, his elderly mother, and the broken down old priest remaining in the sanctuary. Only they were there to witness the miracle that occurred. As soon as Yurian stood at the alter, a white light shown down upon him, and music and singing filled the air. A soft voice declared that Yurian was special, and would have a destiny that would help deliver the kingdom from the dark days that had befallen it, under the rule of the new sorcerer king. Soon after they returned home, the elderly widow grew sick. Yurian attended her, until she passed on. Before she died, she told her 'child' of the nature of how she came to be in her care, and that she was not truly his mother.

Now Yurian hunts, seeking the destiny that had been foretold to him. Having grown up with the great love of his adoptive mother, he learned to be pure and honest in all things, to always show love to others, and always protect the innocent. He set off with nothing but the broken fragment of a sword his mother gave him, never realizing that it was the last remaining clue to his true identity, and his birthright.

Here's a look at the best background ever...

Pathfinder Adventure, Adventure Path Subscriber

Looking at the drawbacks, there isn't one that fits into this character, are you willing make character specific drawbacks, with the player?
As Gondoontmyne would appreciate that sort of thing ....

@stormraven looks good. Now go jump into the discussion thread for a little role play.

@Xane Well its a first level character. And it has templates. I don't think I will allow those. And it has the gold of a fifth level character. If you change those things and make it humorous, I'll consider the character.

@Rigor Looks good.

@Deevor I'm always willing to work with players with that sort of thing. What did you have in mind?

5d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 3, 1) = 10
5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 1, 6) = 13
5d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 5, 3) = 19
5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 5, 2) = 13
5d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 1, 1) = 13
5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 3, 1) = 14

Hmmm...interesting I believe this is old human mage with(if the DM would permit) the short term memory loss drawback trait.

That works, but that array comes out to a 7 point buy, which permits you a reroll.

Oh my I'd almost forgotten how much fun it is to roll dice

Spoiler:

5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 2, 5) = 16
5d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 3, 5) = 16
5d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 4, 4) = 18
5d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 2, 6, 2) = 12
5d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2, 1, 5) = 14
5d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 2, 1) = 16

Not feeling any love from the dice tonight.

Spoiler:

5d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 4, 3) = 16
5d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 5, 2) = 21
5d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 3, 5) = 21
5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 2, 4) = 20
5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 6, 4) = 23
5d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 1, 4) = 18

Hey that's pretty decent, what do you think about the absent minded blaster

edit; Here is a perfect Map

It's a good idea. And so far you are the only caster to apply. Go for it.

Edit: Totally using that map.

So, this is an OOTS style adventure? Which means...*gasp* I can achieve my lifelong dream of annihilating the kingdom of Fourthwall and its subjects! Yaaaay!

I suppose I've been thinking mostly about fantasy tropes up until now; RPG tropes are almost another thing altogether. Of course, many of those cliché characters we are more than happy to live without...

The Chaotic Neutral Thief, who constantly steals from the rest of the party, and sets off on all sorts of individual sidequests in order to steal insignificant amounts of money, all while the rest of the party just wants the night to pass so they can set off for the main quest in the morning.

The g.i.r.l. (guy in real life), played as though by an adolescent 13 year old male's wish fulfilment.

Drizzt clones.

One fight life expectancy guy.

The ultimate mercenary. The guy who will not lift a finger to do anything unless there has been an explicit discussion of the reward for doing so.

Not so fun, those...

A.k.a, Jayne Cobb.

Dragon master: would it be ok to switch scribe scroll with spell focus ala PFS.
