Ezekial Dune

Pack Hall? Is that here in the city? And there is a she-devil? What do you plan to do about her?
Thraxin "The Dashing Devil" Kyr
Thraxin rips off a small piece of the chicken and gives it to the cat then shrugs at Nathon, "Am I the only one that got paid for that last job" The tiefling chuckles for a moment then realizing his food was in danger from freeloaders he starts scarfing down his food. Glancing at the two freeloaders between bites.
Tarasi Pynos
Tarasi says "I should get something to eat. I'll head back downstairs and join the rest."
She gets down in time to watch Buster's antics.
[b}"Buster! Stop that. People will think I don't feed you."[/b]
She sits with Thraxin and, when the server comes over, orders chicken as well. "And, please, cut some for my cat, as well."
She turns to Thraxin. "I apologize for my friend. He likes to make people think he's starving. It's a cat thing, I think."

Simon Sigeh
Simon comes stalking in after Tarasi and sits down at the table with everyone.
"Do you have rice?" he asks. "If not, some white bread and porridge. No sugar, no butter. And another cup of green tea. No sugar, no cream, no lemon."
Nathon Hummel
"Two of the stew please," Nathon drops a handful of silver unto the table and slides it toward Thraxin as his contribution toward the bill.
Looks like the Aroden guys are running out of steam and we've learned all we can here. Simon and Tarasi are back in the common room. Shall we wait for Darian and Ezekial to return, then go as a group to check out the castle and see how we might get in?
Traveling for the weekend. May not be posting.
Simon Sigeh
"What I need, is not to set my stomach churning," Simon grunts. "Again. I'm no good to anyone rolling on the floor in agony for days at a time."
Once the food arrives, Simon stabs at it and eats it with a kind of resigned dislike.
Ezekial Dune

Ezekial skips his foot against the floor waiting for the priest to respond.

Turning to the old priest Exekial asks quietly If I were to try to get my hands on those contracts and burn them could I count on you for any aid?

Exekial looks to the woman for any possible help. He is not going be be any help is he?
NPC_Female_NR
Ezekial Dune

Nodding to the woman Ezekial excuses himself. Well I am pleased to have been of service in escorting you here and wish you will in your attempt to nursemaid the old priest. I had hoped he might have proved more lucid and, well, and resourceful. This city has many problems that I for one would like to see something done about, but this man appears to not be in a position to help.
With this Ezekial turns to Darian and says Time to go.
Nathon Hummel
Nathon gnaws the last of the chicken from the bone. He smiles and nods happily to Thraxin. "That was a really good idea."
Then he looks at Simon. "You're right. That sounds bad."
Shifting smoothly to Tarasi the ranger's eyes sparkle briefly. He asks, "What do you think of our singer? ~waves the bare bone toward the brad in the corner~ Is that technique or is there magic in the air tonight?"
Thraxin "The Dashing Devil" Kyr
Thraxin lifts his mug to Simon, "I gotcha, and don't worry I will build up your tolerance even if it kills yah!" He chuckles after his joke and takes a big swig. Then responds to Nathon, "Technique, cause magic can't hit notes with that kind of passion. Though me and her might have some magic between us." After that comment he gives a wink in the direction of the singing barmaid.

Darian Furkin
Darian looks at the old priest with sympathy and says, I guess your right.
Turning he leaves the temple.
Had a chance to study the map, coming out of the First Light (the temple we were just in) Darian is going to turn left and wander down Dusk Lane, until he eventually winds up at Shenk's Dogyard.
Nathon Hummel
Thraxin lifts his mug to Simon, "I gotcha, and don't worry I will build up your tolerance even if it kills yah!" He chuckles after his joke and takes a big swig. Then responds to Nathon, "Technique, cause magic can't hit notes with that kind of passion. Though me and her might have some magic between us." After that comment he gives a wink in the direction of the singing barmaid.
Nathon smiles fraternally, "You spoke first, so the field is yours as far as I'm concerned. Her other devotees may have something to say about your place in the pecking order though." The chicken bone sweeps around to indicate the enthralled horde of fans.
Yeah, come on back guys, and we can recon the castle walls as a team.
DM Azure_Zero
Darian walks down towards the Keep and find a dog yard.
Crouched in the shadows of the tall northern wall of the keep
proper, a humble shack occupies one corner of an open yard
surrounded by a crooked iron fence. A row of doghouses lines the
western side of the yard, while kennels occupy the space along the
fence opposite them. Several mastiffs wearing spiked iron collars
roam the yard, masters of their small patch of land, while younger
ones pace back and forth within the confines of the kennels. A sign
fastened to the gate in the southern portion of the fence reads,
“Shenk’s Dog Yard.”

Ezekial Dune

After reminding Darian that the others at the bar do not know where they are Ezekial follows at a short distance to make sure they have not picked up a tail.

Roger that. We will look for you here. And with that Exekial turns and returns to the inn.

Tweiford Shenk
A man approaches Darian
"I would not enter the yard, As I've trained them to attack those that enter the yard.
Yet you've managed to get them to be that friendly so quick.
You really must have a way with dogs and other animals."
Simon Sigeh
Simon looks at Tina, measuring her up with his eyes. Then he speaks:
"Do you know Ishuna Chaza*?"
Ichuna Chaza, a tragic ballad dating back to the first formation of Andor. It is a song which speaks of the sorrow of the fall of the old empire of humanity under Aroden and the terror of the unknown ahead, but it also speaks of courage, of people standing strong in the face of adversity and walking on alone. It is not a nationalist song, but it is most definitely a human song.
Simon Sigeh
"Fine," Simon says, rising from his chair. He drags a chair onto the stage, plucking a small harp from his pack. "Do it non-verbal. Keep up."
The dour, white-haired man sits down on the chair he just brought up and puts his fingers to the strings. Soon, a sad, stately melody starts to fill the common room's air...
NPC_Female_NR
Nathon Hummel
"SING ON MY SIREN!!" Thraxin cheers on, spitting out a quarter the food from his mouth.
"That's a good line, but next time deliver it without fusillade." Nathon grins.
When Simon gets up to accompany Tina, Nathon cocks an eyebrow. One of our silent killers is a minstrel too? Interesting. He waits quietly to see what the duet produces.

Darian Furkin
After shaking his hand, Darian gets down on 1 knee and runs his hands over 1 of the mastiffs, Beautiful animals, do you do all the work by yourself? Darian asks admiringly.
