Nathon Hummel
Nathon watches Ezekial leave and waits to see if anyone follows the ninja before rising. He looks at Tarasi, Thraxin, and Simon. "Are you coming?"
Then he saunters after Ezekial. Once outside the door he walks quickly to catch up with Ezekial.
Darian Furkin
Thank you, perhaps I'll see you again. Darian says. Giving the dogs around him 1 final pat, he heads out the yard for the Conqueror's Blade.
Upon seeing the others come out of the tavern, he walks up to them and says, I think I may have found us a place we can stay for the night, if you'll follow me, please. and with that he heads for the lodge.
Nathon Hummel
Nathon smiles as Darian approaches. Here's Darian. That's one question answered.
His smile broadens at Darian's news. Another answered. Now all we have to do is find a way into the castle.
"Lead on then , Darian."

There is also the matter of Pack Hall. I would at least like to go by and glimpse the place from the outside.
DM Azure_Zero
you reach the lodge.
A longhouse made of thick logs with a massive brick chimney rising
from the center of its roof dominates the rest of the buildings at
this end of Mine Cart Road. Crossed hatchets and an enormous set
of antlers overhang the wide door facing the road.
when you enter you see 4 folks at a table in various states of drunkenness,
and a gentleman with a wolf beside him at another table.
Darian Furkin
"Pact Hall"? Isn't that it right over there? Darian points to the building across the street from the Conqueror's Blade, as he leads the party to the lodge.
Upon entering the lodge, and seeing the man with the wolf, Darian grins goes over to his table, and says, You must be Tandifor, and who is this? getting down on one knee, he offers the wolf a hand to sniff.
Animal Empathy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Nathon smiles and drifts toward Darian and the wolf. He has an easy manner with animals, and no fear. I don't think I would be as relaxed with my hand that close to that mouth. Is he using magic?

Nodding Ezekial adds And we could likely use some advise on how to stay our of the trouble that seems to be brewing. We may be stuck in the city two armies fight over it… Ezekial tries to look worried.

Trying to pass a hidden message to Tandifor.
I understand a lot of people have suddenly found themselves in trouble of late. Seems like the baron is just not himself since he started favoring certain guests. I sure would hate to step on the wrong toes. If you could help us out we would be glad to help you as well.
Bluff to pass along message: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
We know you are in trouble and want to help. We have info about the baron's change of heart of late. We are looking for allies.
Nathon Hummel
Nathon continues to look at the wolf and Darian. He waits for someone more adept than he to tread this conversational path.
He's bold enough. At the tavern they seemed to think that the Baron or his agents could see and hear all. Maybe there's more to him than we think.

Looking around to see who else might hear him Exekial asks Is there a private place where we might talk?
Nathon Hummel
Nathon glances at the drinkers and the door. "I'll keep an eye out here. " He mutters quietly.
He finds himself a table and calls for a small beer.
He'll nurse that beer carefully. He's not really going to drink it. It's window dressing.
Nathon Hummel
Lodge Maid:
"Here's your Beer, and I've not seen you before, you new in town?"
"Thanks." Nathon centers the beer between his hands on the table. "We just got into town ahead of the Andorans. Now we need a good, cheap place to stay. Looks like this siege could go on a while."

Lost a post somehow…
So, tell us what kind of trouble you are in with the Baron, and why. And how can we help resolve it favorably to you.
Ezekial Dune
|
We believe the Baron is being influenced and maybe tricked by a woman of Cheliax. There were gifts. Some are suspect. And perhaps a contract has been drawn up that is, well, binding in such a way that the Baron has fewer choices than he might otherwise have. What can you tell us of Pack Hall?
Ezekial Dune
|
Maybe not. Pact Hall is my first target. It could solve our problems and will draw a lot less attention than the keep.
Nathon Hummel
Lodge Maid:
"I dislike him, but who would repleace him?
And it'd depend on who who ask that question to,
some support him, others not so."
"It's funny. Down at the tavern they all seem a little afraid of the Baron. You folks up here at the lodge don't seem afraid.."
Darian Furkin
If we can't find a way into the keep, then investigating the Pact Hall might be a good idea, at the very least we can find out more information. And we just so happen to have someone who may be the perfect person to pay them a visit.
Darian turns to Thraxin and asks, What do you say "Dashing Devil"? feel like visiting the "Pact Hall"?
