I would like to propose naming hex C10 'Hermit's Rest'. As for where to, what about D10 and then west from there?

Wandering GM Wastrel |

OK, D10 it is!
EDIT: Just to clarify: you no longer require Endure Elements.

Aivar Kurisyl |

Niece. Cousin. Does it matter when talking about peasant rabble?
*guffaws*

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Does that mean that the commoner Sasha currently dangling from the precipice can't count on your help?

Narièl Laeric |

Just to clarify: you no longer require Endure Elements.
Thank Nethys...

Aivar Kurisyl |

Surely she can, because I must keep up my heroic appearance! .. r_r forgive me, Sasha.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

"We ought to mark this area, somehow, to ensure no one else stumbles into this pit."
Uh huh. I'm sure a big ol' sign saying Caution - abandoned gold mine. Do NOT enter! will keep people away.
[/Sarcasm]

Aivar Kurisyl |

Int 8 in action.

Tristan Aislin |

Why couldn't I have been absent during a more... calm period of posting? ;) Catching up now!

Tristan Aislin |

Hah, realized the Pathfinder: Kingmaker game just hit Steam. I, uh... I might end up learning more about the storyline in the base game soon. :)

Aivar Kurisyl |

Is it any good? At 40 euro's, it's quite the investment and I haven't spotted any reviews yet :)

Tristan Aislin |

I played a bit last night, though not much. Seems good so far, but I haven't played enough to really have a recommendation. The rules are slightly boiled down (the skill list is much smaller for instance, which sometimes is nice and sometimes is not).
Production value and all that is quite high, and I haven't noticed any signs of bugginess yet, so that's nice. Voice-acting is, for the most part, only adequate and not amazing.
I'll get back to you in a few days when I've played more.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

OK, let me know what you want to do and where you plan to go next.

Raquel Cailean |

I think the plan is to bury the horse, mark this place for future inspections, and head west along row D.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Ok, I'll put up a post on that basis later today.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Loving Tristan's songwriting, btw! Keep it up :)

Narièl Laeric |

Sorry, busy day yesterday! I don't have time this morning to put up a more detailed post, but Nariel will use Obscuring Mist to give us cover from further arrow shots during her surprise round action.

Raquel Cailean |

I believe you'll also be able to take your first full round of actions after that, Nariel, before the enemies go again.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Raquel is correct - both Sasha and Nariel get a surprise round action (1 move or 1 standard action) AND their actions for Round 1
Everyone else just gets their actions for Round 1
Sorry if that wasn't clear!

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Hey, all - tied up with work right now, I won't be able to post for about 12 hours.

Narièl Laeric |

Raquel is correct - both Sasha and Nariel get a surprise round action (1 move or 1 standard action) AND their actions for Round 1
Ah, my mistake! In that case, I'll retcon my last round to include dismounting and shifting 5' to a nearby tree. Casting Mage Armor for round two.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Hi all
struggling with a cold plus overwork (the two not unconnected possibly)
post tomorrow or monday
apologies

Raquel Cailean |

Forgot to mention, will once more use adoration if somebody attacks me. That's pretty much standard operating procedure. :)

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Nariel: Sleep is a full round action to cast.

Narièl Laeric |

Sorry, keep forgetting that. Does that mean she doesn't get a move action (other than 5' step)?

Aivar Kurisyl |

I'm afraid so. Sleep and Enlarge Person both take full-round actions to cast. It's easy to miss and honestly, Paizo could've mentioned it in the spell description.

Sasha Yezhov |

Yeah, if you're not familiar with the spells, they require careful reading.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

I do apologise - I thought we were waiting on someone else to post, but you've all posted. I must have lost track.
Bad GM.
EDIT: that makes 2 very promising skirmishes Tristan's spell has destroyed. (Oh yes. I'm keeping track.) I could have played it out, but without Kressle it would have been a curbstomp fight.
Never mind. There'll be more challenging fights soon.

Tristan Aislin |

I'm useful! Very handy that enemies keep failing their Will saves, of course.

Aivar Kurisyl |

He shoots, he scores! Got to love well-targetted spells and abilities.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Aivar: twice in one post? Seriously?
Oh well.

Aivar Kurisyl |

Hm? I feel like I'm missing something. No, I definitely am, but that's okay. I'm going to hug my pillow now xD

Narièl Laeric |

By the way, just finished my level up.

Arianna Wending |

iirc GM said in character creation that we get max hit points per level.
I will be leveling up Arianna sooner rather than later, I'm taking my one level of Brawler. I have notes somewhere but I know I'll be putting a rank in Linguistics and taking Sylvan, and since Brawler gets improved unarmed strike as a bonus feat, I'm swapping the redundant feat out for Combat Expertise. I'm so happy, my girl is going to be tripping everything with legs.

Wandering GM Wastrel |

Yup, max hit points/level. If I kill you I don't want it to be by accident.
Aivar: you're now cursed (your Will save roll was absolutely sucky). I'll send you the details of the curse via PM.

Aivar Kurisyl |

@Raq: of course we post at roughly the same time. We could do that, assuming we don't go after the woman and her gang :)

Tristan Aislin |

Tristan also took Sylvan as a new language - forgot about max hit points though, excellent. I've always been a big fan of not dying.

Aivar Kurisyl |

Will post a level up overview later, but there ain't much in the way of choices other than how to spend skill points, so don't expect anything exciting ;)

Wandering GM Wastrel |

So, what now? Back to Oleg's (with or without your captive)? Or further into the woods (presumably sans captive)? Or something else entirely?

Raquel Cailean |

I'd say back to Oleg's to turn the prisoner over to Garess (if we're not executing him) and to get Sasha a new horse.
