Does anyone know the likelihood of daily tickets for this convention selling out? For a variety of reasons I may need to decide whether and when I am going at the last minute.
This is the first-ever PAX Unplugged, so there's no history to go by. I would imagine that if they think they are getting close to a sell-out, they will probably post something about it on their website.

Like Vic said, we have no history since its the first, but I can tell you that if all the hotel room nearby are gone by the time you decide to go, transportation to the convention center is pretty nice. The airport line (the train running from the airport to center city) stops only 1 block away from the convention hall. Other trains from all over the city have stops fairly close as well. You can move around really well with public transit.
I wouldn't try driving in each day though.

I found a copy of the online list of exhibitors for PAX Unplugged.

And there is a more complete list here (with additional vendors added in the second posting).

Why not? I live in Delaware and was planning to drive in. I don't drive to Philly regularly, so is there something I don't know that would make this a bad idea, like no available parking? I was prepared to give myself time for traffic, but is it worse than I'm imagining?

Philly is notoriously terrible for parking. People that people that live there have a tough time with parking (my parents live there so I hear about it). It might be better on the weekend, that I don't know about.

That is why I described taking the train instead of driving into Center City. If you are going to this convention from NJ, the cheapest available parking would be to drive to one of the Patco High Speed Line stations, park for free, and spend no more than $6 per person for a round-trip ticket.
If you drive directly into Center City, you would most likely spend $5 for the bridge toll and then a bunch more for parking.

I'm a PA/NJ resident and work around and in the city from time to time. Parking in center city is either exceptionally expensive or a hassle to find depending on the time of day. Don't be surprised with a $30-$40/day fee there in certain areas.
I second the PATCO to 8th & Market, or Broad Street Line to Race/Vine from somewhere north or south of city hall. There's a little bit of a walk, but it's pretty short. One thing to remember is PATCO stops going eastbound after a little before midnight, so you might get stuck if you use that if you're there too late.

I'd be coming from south of Wilmington, DE. Some of the other stations in Delaware would be more convenient, but it seems they offer limited service, particularly in the evenings. So, I guess I could take the Wilmington/Newark Line to Jefferson Station it seems.
A friend and I are traveling together, so we'd split the parking. That makes the train slightly cheaper than the $35 parking rate, but I think we'd have to pay for parking in Wilmington, so it might end up being more.

Hey Everyone
An update on Pax Unplugged.
We have more table space available now and have expanded the schedule. This of course means we could use a few more GMs. So if you are interested in volunteering your time, we would love to see you there.
Here is the pre-registration link again

FYI -- The availability of 3-day and Saturday tickets is shown as "Low" on the Pax Unplugged website. Friday, Sunday, and Kids tickets are still listed as "Available".
I thought I had updated this but -- Saturday tickets are sold out. Availability of other tickets remains as given above.
