Question about Day Job checks and mundane items.

I recently built a Bard and plan to use Perform (oratory) for my day job check. For most craft or profession skills, you can use a masterwork tool to get a +2 bonus. Can I use a Tome of Epics, which seems to act like a Masterwork tool for perform (oratory) and (sing) checks, to increase my day job check?

Anything that grants a bonus every time you use it can affect day job checks. Spells and other things that don't last a whole day can't be added in, since the roll represents 8 hours of work.
