Open Call Rules Magic Item Formatting

I think the format presented in the Open Call Rules is incorrect. Shouldn't some of those things be listed on separate lines? Line breaks needed between item name and aura, CL and slot, weight and description, and construction and requirements.

Description
This beautiful hat is often used to bust the rear ends of troublesome gnomes. Possessing a Benelli M4 shotgun strapped to its top, it can be fired as an immediate action whenever a gnome within 30 feet moves away from the wearer.

The Benelli M4 shotgun has a +20 to-hit and deals 3d6+10 damage. In addition, if hit, the gnome's speed is halved for 1/10th of a minute. The Kobold Kap grants any kobolds who witness this attack a +4 morale bonus to-hit against gnomes, but a -2 penalty to AC, as they can't stop laughing.

The Kobold Kap is often favored by kobolds.

Should we double-space, not double-space, or is it up to us?

Double spacing (i.e. an extra line break between paragraphs, as you have above) is generally considered good form for online, I think. It not only makes it easier on the eyes, IMO, it's hard to tell you intended a new paragraph without it.
