Hello, I'm trying to insert spaces for profile layout purposes, but they're getting deleted when I publish.
For example, using spaces at the beginning of a sentence to 'center' the text above what comes next. Or using spaces to separate paragraphs.
Any advice?

Looks like figure space works. You can either copy it from the article (Or from this post. Text editors might not work.) with ctrl+c, or use numeric keypad.

Obscure tech trivia: The removal of multiple regular spaces at rendering time is mandated by the HTML spec. We actually preserve the spaces and even send them to your computer—meaning you can see them if you view the page's html source— but your browser removes them when it displays the page for you.
