I propose we all get on mumble or teamspeak and get separated sometime this weekend, and try to get killed as often as possible.
We can use it to help Harad and his minions populate the shrine location data for the Unnoficial PFO online atlas, by reporting our resurrection locations in an open document of some kind.
Any takers?

I do believe that the shrines are the most probable item for waste of time. They are many and will certainly be superseded by other resurrection points in the future...
I'm actually a bit sceptic to most mapping efforts at this stage
We already know that some shrines have been moved to avoid re-spawn in an escalation camp. And, yes, they may indeed be major changes when EE opens. However, in the War of Towers locations of shrines will, I believe, be of significant tactical importance. I still believe that knowing where they are, and especially when they change, is relevant.
Most of the data layers being developed have small value now. When we get into EE and begin capturing towers we will be able to add more timely and relevant data, most specifically PvP windows for Towers and hexes. I also have a settlement structures layer in the works which will show the buildings in their proper orientation to north and will only appear when zoomed to the settlement. Popups will have relevant information of what can be trained there as well (I hope) direct links to data from the Pathfinder Wiki, data gods willing.
Still working on getting current worldmap image.

Per Ryan's request that we attempt to get a bunch of people together to check a town with no Thornguards, I'm suggesting we begin a slow migration of as many people as are interested into Rotter's Hole. It need not be your primary character, and need not have any armour or weapons. The point is to get a bunch of people together in one spot to see what happens.
With that in mind, instead of encouraging people to go East to the mountains between Callambea and Freevale, we'll spend some time in the escalation at the monster home near the centre of a triangle made by Stoneroot Glade, Guardheim, and Rathglen.
Hopefully, instead of trying to get a bunch of people into place at one time, over the course of this weekend we can slowly fill the vicinity of Rotter's Hole, so that by Sunday we can have a large number of people there to test. Ideally, a large number of people who aren't worried about having a low reputation by the end of the night. ;-)
Indicate over here if you plan to help test Rotter's Hole this weekend.
