Recruitment

I don't see many posts like this, but I thought I would give it a shot.

I see a lot of unique threads for unique style games. There are a few threads for PFS.

I'm a active, commited pbp player. Willing to play any role. Looking for either a PFS regular group, or homebrew using same basic PFS character creation rules.

I'm in line on the Kludde thread, but the waiting is killing me. Are there any groups out there willing to bypass the weeks of "nominations", and "submit your character for consideration", in order to get a player who:

- wants to enjoy the regular PF rules, but can accept home rules
- willing to post multiple times/day
- can fill any role
- willing to commit to more that just a single adventure

Is there a better place to post this?

Its not that there is a better place to post something like this, its just that the GM to Player ratio is very one-sided and it is rare that these type of submissions are successful. However, I believe for PFS there is an official PbP venture captain that might be able to help you find a game. I will search for a URL and post it for you.

List of Regional Coordinators. Look under O for Online you will find 3

I'm currently running a PBP Serpent's Skull game that had two characters ghost on me, a magus and a paladin that was supposed to be the party's tank. I'm not running it PFS legal but the character creation rules are similar, if you're interested.

Thread might not be the worst idea as pbp parties do have the problem of players disappearing fairly often.

Renewing this thread

Waited through a few recruitment threads of 20+ applicants each.

Once again, I emphasize my interest in joining a new or already formed group.

Thank you

I typically end up running a game since there is so few GMs, I too have tried to get into games recently, and little success.

Heh, I feel your pain. I GM a vety active fast paced game for quite a long time. I then have joined perhaps 6 games as a player, all of which the GM disappeared after a few weeks. I have played the runelords AP three times and never got past the first combat sequence because the GM disappeared.

So, there are lots of decent players but extremely few decent and dedicated GMs. So all I can say is you would have a lot better luck being a GM. If you can post regularly and keep it going, that would put you in the top 5% automatically.

I do have a home-brew game running right now that I could squeeze you in for play. It isn't PFS, nor PFS creation rules (but kinda close in the beginning). It is also hosted on private forums, but allows us to set things up in a way that we can't do on the Paizo forums.

If interested, pm me and I'll send you the info for you to review so you can decide.
