Redoing a Character

Just quick questions regarding a character redo. I am aware you can redo your character up until you play your first game at level 2.What is the latest chronicle you can note the changes on. For example If I have a PC who is wanting to sell gear and has successfully played in three games and currently has three chronicles. The PC would like to make changes on their character before the start of the upcoming game, which would be their first game at level 2. Changes to the character would include returning items they started with and buying new items which would be an upgrade to what they could have bought when the character was originally created. Can this be done at the beginning of the 4th game and logged on the 4th chronicle?

There is no "official" way to record a level 1 rebuild. Whether you do it on the 3rd or the 4th chronicle, as long as you record everything I doubt you will have any problems.

Yes. The space between earning your third experience point and playing your first game afterwards is still eligible for retraining.

Just not this at the beginning of your fourth game, so your GM can go through and be aware of any purchase before the game starts.

Thanks for input. This is comming up in a game i'm about to run. I wanted to make sure the 4th chronicle was ok to note these changes.

Yes, and remember you can rebuild until you PLAY (as a player, as opposed to GM) your first game after earning 3XP. So if you're running this game, and still need more time to think it over, GM credit is a good way to go.
