Ryan Dancey: Hi, I'm Ryan Dancey, the CEO of Goblinworks, and this is the Weekend Update.
We started last week on a bang. On Monday, our good friends at Reaper Miniatures sent an email to the backers of the Bones campaign that they ran on Kickstarter last summer. The result was humbling and amazing. We raised nearly $30,000 in 48 hours as a result of that email. We'd like to thank Repaer, and encourage all of our backers to take a look at reapermini.com to learn more about their amazing line of metal and plastic miniatures. On Wednesday, we announced major new bonus content for this Kickstarter campaign, an adventure and miniatures. The adventure is The Emerald Spire, which will be at least a 128 page full-color superdungeon for the tabletop RPG. The miniatures will be Wizkids pre-painted plastic miniatures compatible with the Pathfinder Battles miniatures line.
As we reach funding goals on the way to $1,000,000, we'll be revealing the developers who have signed on to the all-star team to design The Emerald Spire adventure product. We'll also be announcing the bonus minis that will be added to all of the Crowdforger levels. When we reached the $200,000 funding milestone, we announced the bonus content and we revealed that the first miniature, which will be added to all the Crowdforger levels, is the Bloodbriar Goblin Raider. On Thursday, when we hit $250,000, we announced that Lisa Stevens, the CEO of Paizo Publishing and the COO of Goblinworks, will be coming out of semi-retirement to write one of the dungeon levels for The Emerald Spire, and we revealed that at $300,000 we'll be adding the Shadowfire Elemental to all the Crowdforger pledges. At $350,000, Keith Baker, who's famous for having created the Eberron campaign setting for Wizards of the Coast, will be added as one of the all-star designers for The Emerald Spire.
It was a busy week for the Pathfinder Online community as well. They were engaged in discussions with the developers on the forums at [url=http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoPublishing/licensees/pathfinderOnline]paizo.com[/b]. Important topics of discussion were Player vs. Player conflict, new ideas for Kickstarter rewards, and the role of Alignment in the online game. We encourage you to join us on the forums, and participate in these discussions. We'd love to hear your feedback and your input.
Until next week, thank you for your support.
