I apologize to the webmaster if this thread is misplaced. Must try out text formatting...

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 61d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 221d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

  • 1d20 ⇒ 10
  • two

Movie plot spoiler:
This is a spoiler, such as revealing who really did frame Roger Rabbit.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 This is a dice expression.

1d6 ⇒ 3
1d6 ⇒ 3
1d6 ⇒ 1
1d6 ⇒ 3
1d6 ⇒ 2

Compliments to your web-design team!

Spoiler:
This is a spoiler[spoiler]within a spoiler?

Spoiler-in-spoiler does not work, no.

Also note your first link in the first post lacked the http:// prior to the URL; leaving it out automatically places "http://paizo.com/threads/" in front of any URL.

Welcome to the forum BTW =)

Note that dice can have a descriptor, as well. This is achieved by putting adding a =NAME between the e and ] parts of the first tag (with NAME being the name you want to put in there.)

THIS IS A D20: 1d20 + 2 + 4 - 3 ⇒ (9) + 2 + 4 - 3 = 12
THIS IS NOT: 1d1001 ⇒ 368

Also note that in that case NAME needs to be in quotes

so it comes {spoiler="NAME"} or {dice="NAME"} with { } changed to [ ]

It puts those in automatically, acutally. I've never used them.

Huh. Every time I leave them out it screws up the code for me.

Actually I noticed recently while working on Paizo Game Space that we're inconsistent about requiring the quotes when naming spoilers and dice rolls. I think you can always omit them but sometimes including them won't work. I forget the details.

We're planning on someday swapping out our BBCode parser with something more robust, but I have no idea when we'll get around to it.

wow, thanks so much for teaching me about how to label spoilers!:

There is a 6 ft tall glass box (Break = strength check DC12) filled with swallowtail butterflies…an offering to the goddess Desna. The box is secured with an ornate lock (Disable Device DC18). The freeing of the butterflies is always a major festival event, filling the square up with brightly colored wings.
