We'll be heading into Austin for the US Grand Prix (November 16-18), and getting in a few days early (on Monday 12th) so we can spend some time with my brother. But we'd like to take the opportunity, if possible, to meet some of the PFS community other than our local SF Bay Area gang.

It looks as though Dragon's Lair in Austin meets on Mondays (although getting information from their site is all but impossible). Is that correct? And if so, when is the November gaming schedule likely to be published?

So there are 2 groups up there, the Monday group at DL and the once a month group that the VC plays at that kind of wanders around to different locations. The Saturday group does not post their schedule until the month of usually, and I don't know when the DL group posts their schedule.

You could also if you want come to visit us in San Antonio and I can set up a special game for your visit. ;)

Saturday is out - Fri/Sat/Sun are the days of the F1 race, which is the primary reason we're going to be in town. We'd actually first thought of travelling out on the Tuesday, but switched to Monday so that Monday evening at Dragon's Lair would at least be a possibility.

We may well be heading down to San Antonio for a day of tourism, but my brother and his wife (non-gamers) will probably be accompanying us. That makes it unlikely we'd have time for a scenario in your neck of the woods.

I believe thequickhoof is the organizer for the Monday night DL game. Her email address is erin@dlair.net if you want to contact her to find out how soon she posts their schedules.

Dragon's Lair in Austin has Pathfinder Society gaming on every Monday starting at 7 pm.

Pathfinder Society Meet-Up

If you show up, they'll try to seat you. I don't think I've ever seen them turn anyone away but I still recommend RSVPing at the meet-up site.

@fizzboy: Thanks! I eventually managed to navigate my way through the DL site to find the meetup group link (the trick is to start off following the "Pathfinder Society" link on the front page, rather than going to the event calendar), and have joined the group and sent email to the group organiser.

We'll probably sign up for a couple of seats as soon as we can, and show up anyway. If we can't find a level-appropriate game we can play, I'm sure we can find something to occupy the time somewhere in Austin!

Another weekly game day is in the works by the VC & Co.; last I heard they were working on a venue. I imagine it'll hopefully be put together by then.

There is a new PFS group now at Mothership Books and Games every Thursday at 7pm. October 25th will be our first get together there but it will be an option in November for sure.

Their website is Mothership Books and Games and we are currently using meetup to signup for a seat and warhorn to sign up for games. We are able to play almost any scenario but are focusing on Season 0, 1, and 2 to not overlap too much with Dragon's Lair. If there is a scenario you want to play, make a request and we can see if there is a table we can switch out for it.

The meetup is Mothership Pathfinder Society.

Our warhorn is Here.

We're theoretically working on plans for a central website where we can organize all this nonsense so it's easier to navigate in the future, haha. Also the North Austin PFS (the aforementioned VC's group) will likely come back to Dragon's Lair in February when we move to a larger store location and get our Saturday gaming back.

Here's the Warhorn for the Dragon's Lair PFS if anyone still needs the link: http://warhorn.net/dragons-lair-pfs/schedule/day.php
