Ready Player One is defiantly an interesting book. MMO and Sci-FI and lots of 80s references (including lots of D&D ones)! I'm about 1/2 way through, and its a great read so far. Note the link if for the audiobook version, which is read by Will Wheaton and he does a pretty good job

just finished it, awesome book. The last chapter is a big change of pace, but it had to be to wrap up the plot points. I'd give the writing a solid 4 stars and the entertainment a 4.5. mostly because there were a few references that I had to stop reading and look up on wikipedia before I understood.

I just read this, too. It reminded me of a cross between Chronicles of Narnia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Zork. It was a good read, with a nice set up for a sequel that seems almost more interesting than the first book.

I'd agree on the 4 stars. A good book, a decent story, but somehow, not as personable as I'd hoped it would be.
