The bestiaries in the back of the Serpent's Skull are pretty awesome. There are a few good animal companion choices in there. Ask your GM if you can use those.

any specficic books you can tell me? we dont have many of them

The beastiary of Souls for Smuggler's Shiv (AP #37) has a write up for one animal companion. Something I would like to use in the future myself.

we are running a druid and a ranger in this campaign.

the druid has a pterodactyl as a companion (started with a wolf but it got ate)

The ranger has a veloci-raptor. we have not seen any t-rexs yet. We are pretty happy with the dinosaurs, which arent used much.

Our wizard has a rhampa-something which is like a pseudo-dragon dinosaur/mini pterosaurs, as a familiar, i forget where we found it but its pretty amusing how he uses it to make touch attacks.
the rhampa-something is detailed in the adventure book.

Hello everyone,

does anyone have seen the small concern a GM can have with small sized druids in the AP #37.
Allowing a Roc or a Quetzalcoatlus for those druids those might have no problem flying away from the Isle.

Would you restrict the druid to get those companions?

Our druid had a crocodile named Snapper, he was very helpful to the party with only one fighter.

As DM I decided there were no dinosaurs on the island, not big enough to support large carnivores other than what was already listed in the book.

Greetings, fellow travellers.

There are (I think) recommendations for ACs in the Player's Guide to Serpent Skull (which you can download for free from this site).

Concerning the Roc for a small druid - what good does it do him, if he can - alone - leave the island? If I would belong to the group, I would be really pissed and distrust him from then on.

Doing some scouting is definitely nice - but a wizard with a flying familiar can do that as well, so no big deal.

The question would be whether the druid had is AC with him on the ship (and if it survived the ship wreck) or if he has to seek a new one on the shiv.

Ruyan.
