I'm interested in this and I think my group will be interested in it.I'll talk with them about starting up a campaign. We will be just playing it with our usual people. Perhaps some members might go to a con to play some don't know. But is it perfectly okay to just play with our group with all the paperwork done and everything? Also we have a group of 7 people that might be a bit big is that okay for the quests or is there changes that need to be made?

There is nothing wrong/forbidden with having a home PFS campaign. Actually there is one advantage to having a PFS campaign to an ordinary one - PFS assumes that you play with different GMs. So switching GMs can be a lot easier as every single game is contained in itself.

So what is my advice?

7 people is a difficult number. Are you 7 total (6 players and 1 GM) or 8 total with 7 players and 1 GM? What is the attendance record?

You should have a look at the APL calculation (average player level). You will notice that with 6 players you will occasionally have to play up to a higher sub-tier as 6 players level 6 makes an APL of 3.

If attendance isn't 100% for everyone, then this might be less an issue. That would reduce the average table size and only occasionally you will have a max. table. But it raises a different issue - players starting to get a spread of levels.

The same is true if only a few players will go to CONs and other never go.

At the end - just a plea. Due to the timing of the post there is a likelyhood you are from Europe. You state that this is your home campaign. In the spririt of PFS think about at least to post your home campaign on the message board (Pathfinder Lodge). You might be 'full' - but sometimes you might have desperate gamers looking for a game.

You might not want to add to your already big group on a regular basis. But give a thought to accept an occasional guest - maybe even a guest GM and a split table once in a while if you are that close to the upper cealing in regard to player numbers.

Actually i'm a second shift person so was just posting at night. Anyway we are 6 players plus gm but if we were to find a few more then we would go with with 2 groups running adventures in two rooms. Probally would work out better. Then we could also switch the teams around now and again. Had a group do this before and it went well.
