Urgal
Urgal are a race that is distantly related to orcs. Some even believe that they may have ogre blood as well or that at some point in the past they were created by melding orcs and minotaurs using unknown magic. The urgal are a warlike species, but one that is also bound by a strict honor code. Female urgal will not even consider a ram as a mate until they have killed at least three opponents in battle. Status among urgal is also determined based on strength and prowess at war. They have long been at war with humans, with atrocities being commited on both sides. However, some urgal have begin looking for ways to ally with humans, realizing that thir race may face extermination if they can't change their own behavior and humans attitudes towards them.
+2 Strength, +2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma; Urgal are strong and in tune with the world around them, but struggle to relate with other races.
Medium: Urgal are medium sized creatures and do not get and special bonuses and penalties due to size.
Fast: Urgal have a base speed of 40 feet.
Darkvision: Urgal see in the dark up to 60 feet.
Natural Weapons: Urgal have claws which inflicts 1d4 damage on a hit, and ram-like horns that does 1d6 on a hit. Both attacks are considered secondary attacks and Urgal only use them as a last resort or in ritual combat.
Tough Skin: Urgal gain a +2 AC bonus due to their thicker skin.
Languages: Urgal begin play speaking Urgal and Common. Urgal with above average intelligence can learn Elven, Dwarven, Gnomish, Orc, and Sylvan as bonus languages.

Do you have a description of how they look physically?

I love the comment about Ram, and basic attitudes.

Urgal look like this.

There is also a subspecies of Urgal known as Kull. However, they are large creatures, some standing as much as 12 feet tall, and as such are unsuitable for player characters. This is a Kull.

Very cool did you draw that?

No. just something I found online.

As a basic race write up I like it. What would you do to expand upon it if you could?

As it seems to be a fierce and fighting race, i would suggest to remove the Wisdom bonus and replace it with another bonus to Will and maybe a skill or two, such as Intimidate and Perception.
Their skin doesn't look to "tough" on the picture, so i would only give them +1 to natural armor.

They've got a level adjustment, I hope? I mean, being half-orcs except better in all respects?

Kirth is right, basically they are upgraded half-orcs.
So just make them a subrace of half-orc, which someway became a trueblood race.

Some other suggestions :
Remove the fast movement.
Remove the claws natural weapons (ouch). The horns are enough.
Which would leave you with that :

+2 Str, -2 Cha (if you want another stat, put +2 Con)
Medium size
30 base speed
Darkvision
Natural weapons : Horns, 1d6
Tough skin : +1 natural armor
Will +2, Intimidate +2, Perception +1
Common, Orc (remove urgal as a specific language)

I might consider dropping the claws and making the natural armor +1. However, in the Inheritance Saga they are described as being in tune with the natural world, so I'm pretty set on the +2 Wisdom.

Well, the tuning with the natural world could be made with a +2 to perception and survival.
That would avoid to make them a cleric archetype.

By the way, i didn't really get the reference. Where are they from ?

The books Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr. In the first book they are your basic evil humanoids who oppose the main character. In the next two books they start to flesh out and become a more complex race eventually even having some of the tribes join the Varden, an alliance of rebels that the main characters belong to and which is composed until that time of humans, elves, dwarves, and one dragon.

I'm guessing the Eragon ... Fragon ... Gragon series.

EDIT: Oops! Ninja'd. And with the actual sequel names, no less.

Oh. I didn't read that series.

You saw it though, I'm sure. It's Star Wars, but with a high fantasy setting.
