For the latter question, perhaps you mean the Pathfinder Database?

For the former, several folks (myself included) are working on auto-calculating sheets. You'll find my Pathfinder Character Excelerator over at the Pathfinder DB. Right now, it does not have automation for class abilties or feats--I'm working on those pieces now. You'll find my "erian_7's Excel-based Character Sheet" thread in this very sub-forum. I know PCGen is working on a data file, but don't think it's out yet. Her Lab also has an offering, but it's a for-purchase product.

As a follow-up, is anyone working on a solution that uses open source technologies (such as OpenOffice or HTML/JavaScript or ...)?

I'm working on updating the D&D3.5 sheet on TheTangledWeb.net's site (under the heading, "Profiler") but it will be a charsheet with only some auto-calculation included (for example, ABs and saves, but it won't be interpreting the contents of feats or class features).

I have rather goals for it, but who knows how far I'll get? It will be HTML/JavaScript (based on the jQuery framework) with as much field validation as I can add and yet still allow for house rules. In fact, I want to include a "configuration" page that would allow the entry of custom classes, spells, and feats.

So far I have simple field validation for every field on the sheet (numeric-only fields, range of values for numbers, class info in the format of "Clr7/Rog2" or "Cleric7/Rogue2", and similar).

Mine isn't specifically made with OpenOffice, but I do have OpenOffice folks (and Mac folks) testing it for compatibility. So far it seems to be working fine as I'm specifically avoiding using Excel formulas that break compatibility (like IFERROR).

Excellent! In that case, I'll give it a spin. Thank you for your efforts!
