Oh, and Steve Coogan is awesome - I love just about everything he's done, especially Tristram Shandy. Stay away from Around The World In 80 Days, though.

btw, my favorite quote from Electric Dreams was where they guy is trying to fool the computer.
"It was just a slip of the tongue."
Edgar: "Your tongue does not slip. That was a LIE."
"A lie? Where did you learn that word?"
Edgar: "General Hospital."
Classic.

I can't make up my mind about Dalton as James Bond. I generally liked Licence To Kill, but The Living Daylights...

Dalton looked the part, but I don't think he had the suave side, and he wasn't helped by having two movies that weren't exactly great plot-wise. He was okay, but not memorable.

I actually liked the non-suave Bond after the excesses of the late Roger Moore period. But, yeah, some better scripts would have helped.

Agreed 100% on the Mummy series (liked first, second blech, third didn't see). I found Brendan Fraser surprisingly enjoyable as the roguish O'Connell, something I never thought I'd say after stuff like Encino Man! As for the second movie... I did enjoy the catfight between Rachel W. and Patricia Rodriguez. Mmmm-mmm good.

The third Mummy movie was whole lot better than the second. Similar plot, different location, as the first movie. Ranking the 3 movies: 1-10; 2-4; 3-9. I just wish Rachel Weisz was in this one too. Does anyone know why she wasn't?
