Doctor Who Products Available for Preorder!

The Doctor Who RPG: The GameMaster's Companion from Cubicle 7 Entertainment is available for preorder!

The GameMaster's Companion is a resource for you to use to run the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game, offering expert advice on creating scenarios in the style of the Doctor's adventures. It's a veritable toolbox of tips, tricks and techniques that you can use in your own games. You'll be using flashbacks, starting games in media res and ending your next session with a killer cliffhanger before you know it!

Also available for preorder is the Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks Board Game, where players take on the role of the Doctor, travelling throughout time and space, finding new companions and having adventures to repair the web of time. Players do this by overcoming challenges. The Doctor can overcome most challenges he encounters, but he always needs his Companions to help give him an edge. Players must cooperate to stop the Daleks, while trying to get their TARDIS to Gallifrey first, to prevent Davros from invading the Matrix in the first place.

As for other great Doctor Who products, Q-Workshop has the Doctor Who RPG: Deluxe Dice Set, while Cubicle 7 has the Doctor Who Card Game and Doctor Who: Dalek Dice.

Be sure to check out the other great roleplaying games available at paizo.com!

Any Doctor Who RPG players on here?

I played the FASA and Timelord versions. I've been thinking about getting this one.

I’ve recently started running a campaign using this system, and it’s been a huge amount of fun. In my view, the system is designed very thoughtfully to support roleplaying that captures the spirit of the TV show. It has relatively simple rules that give lots of opportunities for creativity and improvisation.

The Core Rulebook is the only book you need to start running a game.

If anyone would like more information, there’s a review of the Core Rulebook on this site:

The Of Dice and Pen blog (written by a fan of Doctor Who and Pathfinder) has a review of a slightly earlier edition of these core rules:

And the Cubicle 7 forum has some examples of play, if you want to see the game in action:
