Explore, Investigate, Survive—Just Another Glorious Day in the Society!New Pathfinder Society Scenarios available!
Life as a Pathfinder Society agent is rarely dull, and with this month's new scenarios for Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you'll continue exploring the deadly wonders of the eastern lands of Tian Xia! For novice agents, the leaders of the Pathfinder Society will send you to "The Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment," dedicated to the Empyreal Lord Korada. A simple, straightforward mission of exploration with a bit of cartography turns into anything but when the "abandoned" temple is unexpectedly occupied. The worshipers are friendly, the food is bountiful, the meditation room and chapel peaceful—what could possibly go wrong? For experienced adventurers that dared to travel the environs of Round Mountain, part two will send you to the "Pagoda of the Rat!" Pathfinder Society agents here might want to brush up on their negotiating skills before visiting the Pagoda. The ratfolk dwelling within have heard tales of the dubious morals of Pathfinder Society, and won't take it kindly when agents go poking around their lair! Of course, with the Aspsis Consortium dirtying their hands making the Society's diplomatic efforts next to impossible, your Pathfinder Society agent will have to polish up their most charming smile and sharpen their wit to get out the Pagoda of the Rat—alive! How About a Shave?New Reaper Miniatures for your Pathfinder game available!
Long-time fans of Paizo will recognize the cast of the latest batch of Pathfinder Miniatures from Reaper! If somebody in a crazy mask asks if you want a shave, the answer is "no," especially if they're a Skinsaw Cultist! Making their debut appearance way back in Pathfinder Adventure Path #2: "The Skinsaw Murders", these deranged cult members are perfect in their original role. Even if you don't need a cultist miniature added to your collection, this mini can serve as a bardic mastermind with an evil twist, or as any PC or NPC who likes a little style in their garb—and a wicked blade in their hand! Appearing in the final part of the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, Viorian Dekanti is a warrior of great skill—but will she join the party, or bury them? With a commanding stance and sword outstretched in challenge, this miniature is great for any fighter in full plate, paladin, or cavalier! Our final miniature this month steps out of the pages of "The Compass Stone." The members of the Decemvirate, the leading council of the Pathfinder Society and responsible for sending hundreds (if not thousands) of their agents across Golarion in search of ancient secrets, conceal their identities behind masks of unknown provenance. This Pathfinder Society Leader had a few words with agent Eando Kline in his tale, but she can make an appearance anywhere in the Grand Lodge in Absalom or places far from the Inner Sea, either in her original role or as a cleric or oracle! Stock up on the Skinsaw Cultist and Viorian Dekanti—you'll want them for our upcoming release of the Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition Hardcover! Check out all of our unpainted Pathfinder Miniatures from Reaper right here (and check out their new line of unpainted plastic minis that won't break the bank)! Link.
A Thousand and One Isles!New Pathfinder Campaign Setting book available!
Every island in the region of the Shackles has a tale to tell, and some of them are deadlier than others. More than just a smuggler's paradise with its thousands of hidden inlets and bays, the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Isles of the Shackles has details about points beyond well-known cities like Port Peril, Quent, and Drenchport! Ruins of ancient civilizations, like the City of Bleeding Stones, and abandoned lairs of old threats like the Pit of Raugsmauda, are a few places that brave explorers and thrill-seekers might dare to venture to in the Shackles, but fortune and glory come at a high price. For every abandoned lair, there are three that are protected by creatures foul and fierce, like the tombs of Vhunsaub, whose doors have yet to be opened, and the magic-dead area known as The Field of Bones and Black Glass. The faces of the Isles of the Shackles are among the most colorful you'll ever meet—if you even see them coming! The orange-and-blue sails of notorious pirate lord Kerdak Bonefist's Filthy Lucre are not what you want to sight in your spyglass, nor do you wish to face the wrath of the druid lord known only as Master of the Gales! Cultists of every kind can be found in every port, whether they follow the new cult of the Deluged God or darker spirits originating from deep within the Mwangi Expanse. But the aquatic monstrosities that ply the straits and bays of the Shackles brings a stab of fear into even the most indomitable sailor's heart. Coral golems can rend a ship's hull, the bloodthirsty kuru will eat you before parleying with you, and the three-headed abominations known as luscas will happily tear a ship apart and consume everything aboard. Threats in the Shackles don't just come from the sea, though—they can also come from the storm-shrouded skies! Check out all of our Pathfinder Campaign Setting books here, and to get a glimpse at the larger regions of the Inner Sea, be sure to pick up the Inner Sea World Guide, your best introduction to the world of Golarion! (Players, be sure to check out the Inner Sea Primer for extra character options!) Link.

Runnin' with the Devilspawn!New Pathfinder Player Companion now available!
Hellspawn, demon child, devil's bastard—these are just a few of the epithets for tieflings, the focus of the latest Pathfinder Player Companion! Visibly tainted, despised, maligned, and misunderstood, tieflings finally get their due in Pathfinder Player Companion: Blood of Fiends! The blood of the denizens of the Outer Planes—daemons, demons, and devils are just a start—can lie dormant in a family for generations, suddenly emerging to horrific life when a child is born with horn nubs, claws, or a barbed tail. With variant tiefling abilities to replace their darkness spell-like ability, you might have a tiefling that can cast illusions, speak to insects, animate objects and the dead, or even appear entirely human. In this book, you'll get a breakdown of the many different kinds of tieflings, including new racial traits, ability score modifiers, and skill bonuses, but also how they fit into the lands of Golarion's Inner Sea region (as well as the lands of Tian Xia). A tiefling in Absalom might have a chance at something resembling normal life, but in Cheliax or Jalmeray, a tiefling is a second-class citizen at best. Not all tieflings succumb to the call of their tainted blood, though, and Blood of Fiends gives several examples of how a tiefling might approach a character class. Despite how animals might fear their fiendish heritage, a tiefling druid can champion the wild places of the world just as any other druid, though some embrace the darker side of nature, reveling in rot and decay. Some tieflings seize upon the path of redemption, taking the long hard road of a paladin, knowing that there are those that would be quick to point out faults. In addition, there are a few infamous tieflings that a young tiefling might look up to, such as the Calistrian priestess and crime boss Shorafa Pamodae or noted bodyguard Radovan Virholt! Even if you don't play a tiefling, there are new options for characters in Blood of Fiends. Three new subdomains (Entropy, Fear, and Tyranny) for clerics that shy towards darker deities and philosophies, as well as new oracle curses, inquisitions, bard masterpieces, and the daemon bloodline! Check out all of our Pathfinder Player Companion books here, and if you subscribe, you can start with our next release, Blood of Angels, right here! And if you're looking for a bit of roleplaying opportunity with your own band of tieflings, check out the Council of Thieves Adventure Path, set in the heart of devil-haunted Cheliax itself! Link.

A Triumvirate of Tawdry Taverns!New GameMastery Flip-Mat available!
Whether toasting to their success at surviving another day or mourning the loss of an ally, every adventuring party seems to end up in a tavern. With GameMastery Flip-Mat: Urban Tavern, you'll get not one tavern to drown their sorrows in, but three! The first, taking up an entire side of the Flip-Mat, is an urban tavern that any NPC would be proud to own. With an expansive central stage for bardic performances, an upper balcony with a view of the entire tavern, a kitchen with all the fixings, and a great bar to belly up to, you'll be pulling this map out when your players say they want to go to the best place in town! Our second tavern runs more on the "pub" side of the taverns—and they serve pie! This is a place where your characters will want to relax and enjoy the good life. With a game room and spectator tables to make a wager or two and outdoor seating next to the bakery, this is a great Flip-Mat for a halfling village! Don't try to steal a hot pie though—the bakers sleep in the room right next door! Finally, the smallest and my favorite tavern of the three doesn't even have a roof! With three stone walls and a cushy floor of soft green grass, this tavern would work perfectly for an elven village or even a small courtyard for the fall harvest feasts! We're constantly expanding our selection of maps for use in any tabletop roleplaying game—check out our full line of GameMastery maps here! Link.
Yo-Ho-Ho, it's a Pirate's Life for Me!New Pathfinder Adventure Path is here!
Are you ready to sail the ocean blue, you swashbucklin' scallywag? The latest Pathfinder Adventure Path is here, and it's time to head down to the sea and sky! Captured on the streets of the notorious haven of Port Peril, your PCs are press-ganged into the life of a pirate in the first part of the Skull & Shackles Adventure Path! In "The Wormwood Mutiny," you'll be forced to do all the grunt work that needs to be done on a sailing ship—swabbing the decks, cleaning the bilges, repairing sails—but you'll also learn how to capture vessels! Filled with a crew of faces that you'll never forget (and some you'll love to hate, like the whip-happy Master Scourge), this adventure will show you the darker side of life on a pirate ship—but with the capture of a Rahadoumi merchant ship, you'll get your chance to break free from the villainous captain! But the twisting seas around the isles of the Shackles and the monumentual hurricane of the Eye of Abendego are not kind to sailors fresh out of port, or those unable to read the wind and the waves. Besides the adventure written by Richard Pett, this volume of the Skull & Shackles Adventure Path also includes the plunder and infamy subsystems. One of the fun features of thie infamy subsystem is the ability to spend your Disrepute to gain impositions. Impositions give all of the PCs exciting new choices, such as the ability to cast a useful spell like fog cloud or make whole, or for the truly infamous, the ability to submerge your ship! The Pirate Queen herself, the goddess Besmara, gets a full writeup of what she expects from her adherents, and we have a nautical tale, "The Treasure of Far Thallai" penned by author Robin D. Laws! Finally, of course, we have the bestiary for this issue, featuring creatures like the water-loving tidepool dragon (and yes, you can get it as a familiar), a bevy of exotic fauna for pet-loving characters, the body-stealing incutilis, or the herald of Besmara, the living ship Kelpie's Wrath! Adventurer Styrian Kindler has lived a pauper's life in Ustalav, the only son of a destitute aristocratic family. Yearning for a life beyond the path set for him by his father, he found himself entranced by the stories his aunt told. When he found out that good ol' Aunt A was once a Pathfinder agent, and that she offered a way for him to study at the University of Caliphas, he jumped at the chance. Eventually, his love of Varisian legends pulled him across Avistan and to the town of Sandpoint. Played by editor Wes Schneider in James Jacobs's "Shadow Under Sandpoint" campaign, this miniature is great for any player character—especially one that's going to go searching around in dark mausoleums and caverns! Speaking of rummaging around for secrets in ancient ruins, the Pathfinder Explorer is another miniature that is great for Pathfinder Society agents doing what they do best (besides getting into trouble)! Nay, We are But Men!New Otherworld Miniatures now available!
They've made their way across the pond to us, and a new batch of Otherworld Miniatures is available here at Paizo.com! There ain't no school like old school, and every miniature from Otherworld recalls back to a time when elves were a class and you colored in the numbers on your dice with a crayon. With a set like Berserkers, you've got a trio of battle-hardened men-at-arms ready to face anybody that might get in their way. Perfect as either heroes (I've got an idea for three brothers off to gain their fame and fortune right now) or as hired thugs, this is a great set to add to your collection of miniatures. Speaking of thugs, every Evil High Priest needs a few good minions. Minions are great for distracting the good guys as you attempt to complete your master plan, finish summoning a nice-sized demon, or whatever nefarious scheme your bad guy has up their sleeve. The Evil Acolytes is a set you'll keep going back to everytime you need a few cultists for your game! Even minions have their minions, and Otherworld has plenty of pets to toss on the table—a giant spider or two, the two-headed amphisbaena, or giant weasels! Swarms are fun too, but you can always bring up the ick factor with a few giant leeches! Check out all of Otherworld's miniatures right here and add a little kick of classic to your game! Link.

The Very Best of the Wurst!Necromancer Games backstock now on sale!
Get ready for another hit of nostalgia with this collection of out of print Third Edition Necromancer Games books, courtesy of Frog God Games! Some of the deadliest traps my characters had the displeasure to face against was courtesy of a nasty little fellow by the name of Grimtooth. With The Wurst of Grimtooth's Traps, seven volumes of the original Grimtooth's Traps have been collected, collated, and carefully plumbed for only the most dreadful devices to torment your PCs with. Broken up into five sections for easy searching, your evil game mastering heart will delight in adding such traps as The Atlas Affair, The Peerless Pillar Room, A Bridge Too Far, Amazing Ginsu Chute, or the one guaranteed to frustrate the thief in the party, the Mock Padlock to your evening game. One of the most memorable parts of Grimtooth's traps has always been the illustrations accompanying the descriptions, and this book is full of adventurers meeting all sorts of messy ends in stylized black and white! Traps aren't the only thing up our sleeves tonight! Riddle me this: What lies in the heart of the burning inferno that is the Elemental Plane of Fire and is home to innumerable efreet? That would be the City of Brass, of course! This famed boxed set has been the bedrock for many games, as well as serving as an inspiration for Greg Vaughan's Legacy of Fire adventure, "The Impossible Eye!" And with the limited quantity we have on hand, this epic tome will go FAST! Game Masters running the Kingmaker Adventure Path may want to snag Glades of Death to integrate into their campaign, or if you're a GM that's been practicing your "arrrs", grab Dead Man's Chest to boost your Skull & Shackles game! Need just a dash of inspiration for your game night? Let a madman whisper into your ear with Open Design's latest tome! The fine kobolds over at Open Design have been sharing some of Richard Pett's mad writings with gamers everywhere on their website, and now they've collected them into a compendium of game mastering notes titled Your Whispering Homunculus! Snake in the Grass!New Pathfinder Society Scenarios now available!
This month's Pathfinder Society Scenarios are here, taking you on a journey through the jungles of Nagajor and back to your home city of Absalom! In the lands of Nagajor in distant Tian Xia, the sorceress turned goddess Nalinivati established a dynasty that has lasted thousands of years. Her thoughts and parables were collected into a series of tomes called the Lotus Annals. The originals were lost to time, but Venture-Captain Amara Li has heard that a genuine copy might have survived—and you have to find it! "The Red Harvest!" scenario will have you traveling deep into the naga-ruled jungles and mountains, dealing with the infighting that plagues your destination. Two factions are vying for control of the village: who will your party side with to learn the secrets of the Lotus Annals? For 7th to 11th-level characters, this scenario will challenge your gaming group's wits and sword-arm as they try to find the real snake in the grass! The city of Absalom, jewel of the Inner Sea and home of the Pathfinder Society's Grand Lodge, is the home to many a mystery. In "The God's Market Gamble", couriers for the Society have ran into some trouble—one even murdered! Summoned by Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng, your Pathfinder Society agents, aided with information acquired by Grandmaster Torch, are sent on a mission to discover who is targeting the Pathfinder Society! Somewhere among the colorful tents and hawkers of the God's Market lie the answers, and with the assistance of the staunchly neutral guards, the Greycloaks, they might have all the pieces they need to figure out the puzzle. Unfortunately, the mind behind the assaults has a few tricks and traps up their sleeve—solving this mystery isn't going to be easy! For 1st through 5th-level characters, this is a great introduction for agents just finishing the First Steps scenarios, or for slightly more experienced agents returning to the Grand Lodge. Check out all of the Pathfinder Society scenarios for Season 3 right here! Link.

Knock, Knock, Knocking on Dungeon Doors!New gaming accessories from Litko!
Gussy up your game mat with the latest gaming accessores from Litko Aerosystems! We all like a good dungeon crawl—it's a time-honored roleplaying game tradition! Sometimes, though, a hand-drawn map is not quite good enough for play. Whether or not a door is opened or closed can dramatically change battlefield tactics, but now with Dungeon Door Markers, you'll be able to see that and more! Available in both standard and "there's definitely trouble behind this door" sizes, you'll get multiple markers in each set so filling out your scenario won't be a wallet-buster! Pairing up with these are the new Dungeon Door Tokens, allowing you to easily indicate regular, trapped, and locked portals. A must-have for the ADHD adventuring group! Do you have the summoner blues? Not enough minis to represent your flock of fauna? Check out all of the Animal Markers and play a conjurer, druid, or summoner like you were meant to! In the Beginning, There Was Chaos!New releases from Wizards of the Coast!
A dash of turmoil, a pinch of intrigue—shake it up and you've got this month's releases from Wizards of the Coast! For many, the first dungeon crawl they went through probably had the word "chaos" in there somewhere, either in the read-aloud text or the name of the place itself. Dungeon Tiles are a great addition to any GM's toolkit, and with Cathedrals of Chaos, you'll get more than a tiled room to add to your adventure! Diagonal corridors, pits filled with a maelstrom of elemental energy—these are just a few of the new options to add to your Tiles collection! In addition, tokens to indicate spell effects, or every adventurer's favorite dungeon feature (traps) are included in the set. No more dull dungeons—make them exciting with the Cathedrals of Chaos set! Waterdeep is the home of so many stories—small ones told at a tavern, or big ones that affected entire worlds. Behind many of these tales lie the masked leaders of the City of Splendor, and with the Lords of Waterdeep Board Game, you are one of them! Gather important resources for victory by completing quests with your hired agents—but with an ever-changing board and foiling other players with Intrigue cards, this is more than just a numbers game! Designed for quick play, this will be a great warm-up to your roleplaying game night—and why not integrate the events of the board game into your rumor table next time the heroes visit the tavern? Check out all the games from Wizards of the Coast right here! Link.
Super Genius Six-Pack!New 3rd Party Pathfinder RPG PDFs from Super Genius Games!
The Geniuses are back on the path, and they've got six new PDFs ready to add to your Pathfinder RPG game! For a sorcerer like Alak-Ammur, magic came as easy as breathing. For adventurers, finding "The Tomb-World of Alak-Ammur" would be an accomplishment beyond reckoning, for the secrets that this sorcerer kept with him are from the very stars. With a lifespan measured in the hundreds of years, the riches that Alak-Ammur collected would rival an empire's, and the call of such wealth has lured many to solve the mystery of his disappearance. Written by veteran game designer Monte Cook and originally released through DungeonADay.com, this adventure is 32 pages long—but only skilled adventurers should attempt to find Alak-Ammur's legendary tomb! In their latest release, the Geniuses reveal one of Hell's prodigies: Phosonith the Cruel Charmer! With their new Annals of the Archfiends series, we'll get in-depth looks at some of the movers and shakers of the Lower Planes, and in this one, the beautiful façade of Phosonith takes center stage. Cunning in his slow and sure method of corrupting mortals with the promise of power through wealth and renown, the Charmer rules the Stygian city of Ess, impressing Asmodeus with his skills and efficiency. If you're heading to Hell, or planning on having a few PCs or NPCs with an affinity for that sulfrous place, you need to pick up The Genius Guide to Hellfire Magic! Are you a dabbler? Do you like to take a level of monk for unarmed fighting, rogue for the sneak attack, or wizard for the familiar? Check out The Genius Guide to Feats of Multiclassing! Drawing upon feats instead of level-dipping, this will allow you to change how you play that character class without having a five-class spread. Also, whether or not you're a GM or player, flesh out your backpack's contents with The Genius Guide to What's in My Pocket! After all, a bag of flour or a sack of marbles may cost less than a gold piece, and inventive players are always coming up with new and creative ways to use these items in and out of combat! Finally, for a pulpy Pathfinder feel, Anachronistic Adventurers: The Daredevil lets you put heroes of a different stripe in your Pathfinder game. For Daredevils, being a hero is defined by action—when others are running away, they're running towards the danger. This PDF will let you capture that Doc Savage feel as well as integrating modern technology into your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game! Check out all of Super Genius's books and PDFs here! Link.

Signify Your Allegiance!New Pathinder Miniatures available!
Ready your battlemap with some of the heavy hitters of Golarion with the latest trio of Pathfinder Miniatures from Reaper! As rigid as the devilish heirarchy they model themselves after, the Hellknights of the Inner Sea are some of the meanest and most intimidating foes you will ever face should you cross them. Golarion is a fantasy world, and no order of knights, be it a goodly one or less so, is complete without a little magic on their side. The Hellknight Signifiers are the spellcasters of the Hellnknight order, commanded by paralictors and often protecting a few armigers (those in training). Done up in the colors of the Order of the Rack, or the Order of the Pyre, this miniature is sure to bring a little bit of Hell with them on your battlemat! I did mention a trio of miniatures, and fans of science fantasy will want to snag the Technic League Captain—straight out of Numeria from the Silver Mount itself! Perhaps he'll make a great miniature for your Pathfinder Society character, or as a character that wants to see the other worlds of Golarion's solar system (as detailed in Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Distant Worlds!) Finally, we have a servant that hails from our Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path—Highlady Athroxis! Whether she stars as herself in your tabletop game, or if you use her as your polearm-wielding Amazonian fighter, she's sure to make a statement—with her fist! Gaming From Yesteryear!Classic gaming material on sale!
Unearthing some of the gaming classics of yesteryear with our American Eagles haul has been a nice hit of nostalgia, and we've still got plenty of oldies-but-goodies to fill out your game collection—and now they're on sale from anywhere between 25% and 50% off! The magic-infused realms of Talislanta captured the imagination of many when it was first released. Taking a page from the Dying Earth series by Jack Vance and many other pulp-era authors, the decadent sorcerers of ancient Archaeus unwittingly wrought the dimensional tear known as The Great Disaster. Thousands of years of progress were ripped apart in a day, and in the current era, arcane magic permeates every level of society and culture. With their advanced society based on magic instead of technology, the Archaeans left valuable ruins scattered everywhere—perfect for adventurers to discover (and a great source to crib from if you're interested in running a game in Numeria from our own Golarion)! Speaking of pulp, TSR released more than a few settings and rules inspired by that genre. Adventure in the 25th century with Buck Rogers, get classic sourcebooks and adventures from the Forgotten Realms, peel back layers of the earth with Hollow World, or get your hands dirty in the city of Lankhmar (for roguish fantasy) or with the Top Secret rules (if you like things a bit more modern)! Another era of gaming that can't be forgotten is when Vampire: the Masquerade snuck unto the the gaming world and sunk its fangs deep. Expanding into other fantastical realms with Changeling, Mage, Werewolf, and Wraith, White Wolf drew in people who had never played a roleplaying game before in their life! With over a thousand items to choose from in our American Eagles sale, you'll find classics that you've missed, and maybe even a gem or two that you didn't expect—starting out at 25% off! Check them all out here while they last! Link.

Shadows of the Past Come Home to Roost!New Pathfinder Society Scenarios available!
Past deceits and treachery will come to haunt Pathfinder agents in this month's Pathfinder Society Scenarios! Set in the realm of Minkai, "The Haunting of Hinojai", sends Pathfinders on a mission of investigation and discovery. The last home of a noblewoman sits abandoned and alone on a hill top, and whether the hauntings are the talk of idle villagers or true fact is the mystery that the Pathfinders must solve (and if true, how it came to be). Many of the locals do not know of the Pathfinders, though, and your agent will have to be on their best behavior to give the Society a good impression for future explorations! Initially released as a limited edition module, "The Midnight Mauler" has been updated and revamped for play! Set in fog-shrouded Ustalav, the Pathfinder Society has gotten a reputation as graverobbers and looters in that ill-fated land, and what the Society has uncovered in the past has wrecked havoc on both commoner and Society agent alike. An embarassing problem has cropped up though, and fellow Pathfinder agent Ryado Erudyta has contacted the Grand Lodge for assistance—before the authorities get involved, and before more die from the Mauler's brutal attacks! Whether searching through a quiet forest for clues, or chasing your target through the darkened city streets of Ardis, "The Midnight Mauler" will have your character wishing for the revealing light of morning! Check out all of Season 3's available scenarios right here, or check out the longer sanctioned Pathfinder Modules here! Link.

To Sail the Starlit Sea!New Pathfinder Campaign Setting book available!
If you grew up on tales of red planets, strange creatures from Venus, wonders hidden beneath thick clouds, or entities drifting in the blackness of space, then your Pathfinder campaign is about to get a jolt from the skies! Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Distant Worlds has been years in the making. Whether we first hinted at what lay beyond the confines of Golarion's skies with the Sovyrian gates used by the elves or an obsessed Osirian pharaoh's research in "Entombed with the Pharaohs", fans have been clamoring for more material on the planets of Golarion's solar system. The first appearance of a solar system gazetteer back in Pathfinder #14 only whetted appetites for more on planets like Aucturn or Eox. Now that I finally have Distant Worlds in my hot little hands, it's time to train our telescopes on these planets! Every planet in Distant Worlds has at least a page devoted to it (even the Sun): adventuring hooks, notable sites, what an adventurer has to worry about when going there. The machine entities of sun-scorched Aballon dwell in the Cities of the First Ones, defending those that would plunder the ruins for its secrets. The matriarchal lashunta of green Castrovel ride on their lizard-like steeds in the city-state of Qabarat, trading in both goods and unusual knowledge. On red Akiton, the towering four-armed Shobhads raid settlements of Ysoki rat-men or trading groups of the red-skinned lizardfolk of the deep desert. Beyond the warmer planets of the inner system, things take a turn for the strange. Need to sail between the planets—go to Skydock on the planet Verces. Delicate ecosystems exist in the asteroid belt knows as the Diaspora, mostly populated by the thin, bird-like sarcesians, avoiding such puzzles like the labrynthine Vacant Halls or the Wailing Stone. Travelers of the stars would do well to avoid the Eoxian corpse ships, piloted by the unnerving and amoral bone sages, fear the poisonous gases of Liavara, and steer clear of the cancerous moon of Thyst. Constellations, comets, portals, spells, vessels, and new creatures all await beyond the stars in Distant Worlds! Check out all of our Pathfinder Campaign Setting books right here, and don't forget, subscribers receive a free PDF with their print edition! Link.

Katana Duel at Dawn—For the Throne!Part Six of the Jade Regent Adventure Path has arrived!
Thousands of miles from where you started in the coastal town of Sandpoint, pursued every step of the way by assassins of every kind, has finally come down to this final showdown in the last part of the Jade Regent Adventure Path! Arriving at the head of a rebel army, the PCs seek to wrest control of Minkai from the hands of the tyrannical Jade Regent in "The Empty Throne." Hundreds of years of plotting and planning must be undone, and change does not come easy, even to the suppressed citizens of the capital city of Kasai. While the Jade Regent fortifies a stronghold for the final battle, the PCs must dodge foes while trying to seek the aid of the deceased rulers of Minkai. The terrible corruption that the Jade Regent has wrought has left many of them restless and violent, and other malign rulers of the past arise to stop the party as well. With the Regent's forces occupied, the Jade Regent's stronghold must be infiltrated, but now is the time for the party to do a little skullduggery of their own. The Jade Regent and his allies have had decades of working together, but the PCs must pry apart their alliance, using their secrets against them if they want to reclaim the throne and free Minkai from his despotic rule! Besides the adventure, in this volume you'll get an article detailing how you can continue the campaign beyond its conclusion (or what happens when it goes wrong), a gazetteer on the Minkai's capital city of Kasai, the final part of Dave Gross's "Husks" serial fiction, and an assortment of new beasts to drop into any Pathfinder Roleplaying Game! Old School is Now the New School!New print releases from Frog God Games!
The time is right, and on top of the Hill of Mornay an edifice of dark stone reappears with this adventure from Frog God Games—now available in print and PDF! Two centuries ago, a cult later known as the Black Brotherhood insinuated itself into the kingdom, becoming a cancer that devoured all that was good and clean. Sacrifices under the dark tapestry of the night started small, but soon, villagers went missing, and eventually some of the very nobles that had supported the Brotherhood. Open warfare between the crown and the Brotherhood erupted, but as the armies approached the gates of the keep—built upon lands granted by royalty—walls of green flame devoured The Black Monastery. Leaving behind rubble and the cursed dungeons of its foundation, the people of the countryside breathed a sigh of relief—if only for a moment. The hour is at hand for the return of The Black Monastery, its arrival marked by madness and murder surrounding the Hill of Mornay. Every time the Monastery comes back, though, it stays for just a little bit longer than the last, its malign influence spreading farther than the dark shadows of its towers. Whether you like your mechanics old school with Swords & Wizardry or new with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, The Black Monastery recalls the old days when we didn't have precision-edged dice, laptops at the game table, or energy drinks to help us game until the wee hours of the morning. Lethal traps, horrors from beyond time and space, dark secrets and treasure await in this dungeon crawl and is easy to place anywhere in your campaign, whether you homebrew or run a published campaign setting! Check out all of the RPG supplements from Frog God Games right here! Link.

If you fall into the improv GM category, this is a perfect addition to your repertoire—your players will definitely keep you on your toes with these, but if you're a player, you can only have one of these cards up your sleeve at a time. Will you use your Magic Moment to charm a city guard, or will you save it you have to remove a terrible curse from your friend? One of the best things about these cards is that players can play them at any time, on anything—friend or foe—but they're also incredibly useful for building up character background. Pull the Nightmare card, and perhaps your character saw beloved family members rising from the grave, or they are in search of a Lost Loved One, or perhaps you failed to save someone under your care (Regret). Fortune is a fickle thing, as any gamer knows, but for the luckbringer, they get to stack the odds in their favor! In 10 Luckbringer Feats, there are even more feats that build upon your class abilities, like Fortunate Fate, Martial Kismet, or Opportunity Knocks Twice! Short and sweet, this PDF is a great addition to The Secrets of the Luckbringer. Finally, get ready to get spooked! Not quite full undead, haunts are a unique way to add tension and horror without throwing another zombie or skeleton at your party. #30 Haunts for Kaidan brings a slew of Japanese-themed haunts for their cursed land of Kaidan, but serves as an excellent fit for any Far Eastern-themed realm (like the lands of Tian Xia in our own world of Golarion)! Arranged in nine tales to help you envision their use in your game, this book will give you a whole new way to create haunted houses (or entire realms, as with Kaidan). Check out all of Rite's Pathfinder RPG supplements here and be sure to check out their huge variety of maps and gaming accessories here as well! Link.
Cloak and Dagger, Clockworks and Deviltry!New releases from Open Design!
Sharpen your daggers and grow eyes in the back of your head, because it's time to head back into the Free City of Zobeck with the latest from Open Game Design! Growing and evolving over the years, the latest incarnation of Zobeck Gazetteer first started out as a centerpiece of long-time RPG author and designer Wolfgang Baur's personal game. Fusing many elements of eastern Europe, medieval Germany, and Grimm fairy tales along with a few quirks gave birth to this city of confusing alleys, kobold ghettos, and clockworks, and now it's fully compatible with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game! More than just new gewgaws for players to add to their character sheets, in the Gazetteer game masters will find pages of plot hooks and ideas to bring this unique city to life! Adventurers coming to Zobeck might find themselves wandering into town during the middle of the River Fair, or repressed kobolds celebrating We No Work Day, but these are not the reasons that one comes to Zobeck. Sitting at the crossroads between old realms and the dark expanses of the Old Margreve forest, characters find themselves gazing in wonder at the clockworks that are slowly gaining a foothold in Zobeck's industry, or to study the vastness of the night with star and shadow magic. New relics and magic items that build upon the cosmopolitan nature of the city are found in its markets, as are new artisans seeking noble patrons. Courtesans and cutthroats, magic and mysteries, danger and deviltry—these are just a few of the things that you can expect in the Free City! In any creative endeavor, coming to the realization that there is always more to learn is a huge steps, and fortunately for every aspiring game designer out there, you'll have a handbook with Complete Kobold Guide to Game Design! Over 200 pages and crammed full of advice from veterans like Monte Cook, Ed Greenwood, and Mike Stackpole, this will give you insight on how to craft an adventure, what makes RPGs tick, how to playtest, and how to design your game from the ground up. This little yellow book will earn a place right next to your computer and caffeine as you ponder your next late-night game design decision! Three Tales of Space—Silverberg Style!New Planet Stories novel is here!
Let's get in the Wayback Machine, to a time where fiction about mankind's reach into the stars was just beginning with our latest Planet Stories release! In "The Chalice of Death," we've culled together three more of science fiction master Robert Silverberg's early stories. In the titular novella, the people of Earth once spanned the galaxy, reigning as a force of law and order. That was thirty thousand years ago, the empire long vanquished and forgotten by all but a few, and even the location of Earth is buried in the footnotes of fading historical treatises. Now Hallam Navarre, against all odds, must find the secret weapon of his ancestors or be doomed to suffer the same fate as his ancient homeworld! Tales of roguish scoundrels are a favorite of a lot of people, and in "Starhaven," fugitive Johnny Mantell makes it to a pirate sanctuary, but may not be able to make a new home for himself there unless he submits to the mind probes of its dictator. In the final tale, "Shadow on the Stars" sends colonist Baird Ewing back to Earth after a thousand years to find aid for his colony. The cost of the aid Ewing finds is high, and saving his home could come at a terrible price. A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing!New Pathfinder Society Scenarios!
Even when garbed in new clothes, some problems are the same wherever you go, and with this month's Pathfinder Society scenarios, your adventurer will be defending the helpless and outsmarting your enemies in strange new places! The final part of The Quest for Perfection arc is here, and in "Defenders of Nesting Swallow", the PCs have learned that their last hope to resurrect an ancient artifact lies in a small village beset by bandits. The collapse of imperial Lung Wa a hundred years ago left many of its nations disorganized, and the nation of Shokuro has regressed toward a rural state. Some bandits dream of something larger, and with brutal assaults on ill-prepared farmers, some are well on their way to controlling the sparse resources of Shokuro. When a chance roadside encounter draws your Pathfinder Society agent directly into a conflict pitting farmers against a well-organized bandit group, you'll have a chance to prepare the village before the final assault begins! Long-time rivals of the Pathfinder Society, the Aspis Consortium has made a mad dash to claim the relic known as the Hao Jin Tapestry with the final part of Wonders in the Weave, "Snakes in the Fold". Throwing obstacles in a Pathfinder Society agent's way is just one of the many techniques the Consortium uses, and this time, there's a whole lizardfolk village between them and their goal! Brute force won't work here, and the PCs will have to use every trick in the diplomat's bag to earn the trust of the lizardfolk and stop the Aspis Consortium's schemes. Check out all of the Pathfinder Society Scenarios here and learn more about our Pathfinder Society Organized Play program here! Link. |
