Hey, sorry for dropping off the air like I did. I didn't mean to, it just kinda happened. This past week and weekend have been busy for me, and I've hit the point where I need to take a step back for a little while, clear my head, and recharge. I'll try not to be gone long, and I understand if you don't want to hold a spot open for me, but I do plan on coming back in a few weeks.

Hey guys. I've been easing my way back onto the boards. Unfortunately, I've got a little bad news. I've been thinking it over and I've decided that I'm not going to be coming back to all of the games I was in after all. This game, unfortunately, is one of the ones I am dropping.

I appreciate you giving me the chance to play with you guys, and I wish you the best of luck both here in the game and in real life.

:( Thats too bad Elaina I was looking forward to playing more with you again. What time we had though was a lot of fun and I am sadto see you go.

OK we will say that after you and the wolf-pack met up, you both rode off on a personal quest of some sort, perhaps involving the man who first bit you....

That leaves the door open should you change your mind...and want to return later on.

And us in need of another charter holder. I will run Elaina until the merger. Anyone know of a replacement player?

So we have four characters:

White Eagle - Edward Sobel - Human Barbarian (Spirit Totem) 2 / Shaman (Witch Doctor) 3

Brogan Vrabec - Mbauers - Male Human Fighter (Drill Sergeant) 4

Vrek Greyborn - Ridge - Male Half Orc fighter 4

Aslan - Danath Kirion - Ranger Skystalker, Ilsurian Archer

Although he came in late so he may be stuck with originally Idea Lucian Greymoor - Male 4th level Alchemist Grenadier with the possibility of Lycan and/or Young template. Your call on which character makes the cut there Kenderkin or if he is disqualified. He's my buddy but he did mess up, which I warned him to not hesitate lol.

So we have a lot of combat potential, I don't want to make any assumptions on their tactics without them here.

The problem I have with all of them is that they are all so combat focused. If we only take one more, then I think we could use some skills or at least something more than DPS.

I agree Torod. The only different one was the Alchemist which brought more Utility to the table. But I am somewhat biased as I know him lol and like giving him a hard time in a good way.

Because only Seraph and Asta have clear ability to heal. Which we can augment with wands and scrolls. I also plan on taking more levels of Oracle but as for Raw spell power we are lacking there as well.

I gave an initial run down of what we have, I thought those responding might try and give us what we need ; )

Instead I think we got the characters that people made for either other games or other KM recruitments.

Well, from an outsider's perspective--you guys already have 2 divine casters and 2 arcane casters, with two of your characters dealing with ranged. You have a good number of skills covered, but you don't really have a true "tank" (if you're looking at traditional class roles). I think that's why people wanted to submit more martial characters.

Brogan is going to have a healthy investment in keeping enemies away from the squishier ranged/caster types, and he has ok skills (at least for a fighter).

I submitted him because, yeah, I completed book 1 with him and he's a fun character.

I also have a Lore Warden I've been wanting to try out that I can submit instead (or just make Brogan or Lore Warden). He would have a lot more skills, including Knowledge Skills and UMD. Still tanky, but can contribute more outside of combat (and focuses more on maneuvers/control than always focusing on damage).

I understand that perspective. I will be pursuing a Oradin (Lore Oracle)/Mystery cultist building on Arshea and using Cha as Charisma throughout her career. It will also be used for all her knowledge skills eventually as well which will be useful in a few more levels.

It will be a righteous build once it gets going but its slow to get there.

I hadn't considered what we must look like from the outside. I only know how it feels to me on the inside.

Overall, I would vote for White Eagle.

Have we tried for the same game in the past Seraph? I have tried for so many I can't remember. or is it cause I am getting old and I lost far to many brain cells over the years.

U and i have tried for about 9 games together. Probably more! In fact most of the time we post for the same recruitmentd haha.

Normally i post as Corerue.

But you might remember Shami from the Way of the wicked recruitment you got your fire burning kid in haha.

I had to drop out before the end but yes we have been in many recruitments and many times we didnt get in hah. XD

OK I used the term "minor tweaks" to help address any problems that the group feels we are lacking, I did not necessarily mean adjustment to Edwards character.

I agree with Suny. HIs character, if he feels he needs to adjust it then thats fine. Other then that making suggestions would change the overall core of White Eagle and that isnt what i think Edward would want.

Edward Build White Eagle the he would be enjoyable to you as a player. I think we will be able to manage a we are. We can always invest in more wands and such too.

I am all updated and ready to go. White Eagle is dropped to level 4 and equipment is updated.

Also I have not read through the gameplay thread. so to save time you guys want to share any important info and happenings I might have learned.

A little help from me here... even before you guys started your explorations, White Eagle has been trading furs and sometimes food stuff at Olegs. he comes by every so often with some new things to trade.

We have defeated the Stag Lord.

Converted his Fort into a now slowly growing community, fort is still run down but we are gathering survivors and stragglers to our cause.

Trade with olegs continues in a peaceful and friendly manner. Oleg and his Wife probably have lots of good things to say about the group.

it may not be open news just yet but a number of Alliances and firendships have been made in the stolen lands under Asta's guidance and Torod's stern personality. ( ~.^) Their is a peaceful agreement of no violence between the Mites and Us. The Kobolds are Allies and we have been working to get the local fey on our side as well.

Also Erastil and Arshea seem to be the new kingdoms first religions, Erastil more so then Arshea I believe.

If the news is out but we have explored nearly the entirety of what the Swordlords have assigned to us.

I would assume that White Eagle may have observed us from a distance traveling around possibly.

It's very possible that we are familiar with each other. While trading at Oleg's we could have easily met in passing.

Also, Torod has taken time to enhance the Thorn River Bandit Camp a little bit. One of the watch platforms now has three walls and a roof and the area underneath has some basic supplies. In your travels you could have come across this.
