The Elementalist is basically a blaster with minor spell casting and element manipulation ability. His primary ability is an elemental blast (ranged touch attack to damage one target, with damage scaling with level). He can also cast a few minor spells (with a bard's spell progression) and has some "meridian" based abilities that involve manipulating small portals to the elemental planes in ways that I have not yet been able to wrap my head around.
