Srina Tenfil was born on the mountain named Lightning's Call in a small village that bordered the Elven land of Kyonin. It was a key settlement as it helped maintain a constant watch on the Tanglewood to the west, and was one of the closest elven villages to the Five King's Mountains. There was a constant presence of dwarves nearby.
Srina grew up with a constant sense of danger. There were years of heightened alert, and years of relative peace but constant vigilance. At an early age she took up the longbow and started taking her own turns at the watch. She slowly grew in talent until she was one of the best shots in the village. By the age of 70, she was well respected as an archer and began training with more weapons and fighting abilities.
By her first centennial she was an exceptional warrior and there was talk in the village that she should be sent for further training to Iadara. She went reluctantly. The forested hills and mountains of her home will always be her favorite setting. She spent a quarter of a century in Iadara, training with the best warriors Kyonin had to offer. She was an exceptional archer according to her trainers, but lacked some of the finesse they expected.
After her time in Iadara, she grew restless and sought a post where she could travel. The kingdom asked her to travel to Absalom and work with the Pathfinder Society. She was not exactly told to spy on them for the kingdom, but no one questioned that she would willingly tell of all she learned.
When she arrived in Absalom, she was impressed with the city, and with the Society as she sought to join. She expects she may have found a place she could feel comfortable for some time, although the mountains call to her.
