Specific Goblin Gear:
Big Blocker - (Heavy Wooden Shield) This badly worn and warped shield has a crudely drawn half-eaten frog-leg depicted on it, the symbol of Venkelvore.
Spug's Coat - (Hide Armor) This reeking mismatch of hides and furs also servers as a trophy display of creatures he has helped kill. He frequently takes skins from his new prize kills to be sewn into his fine armor.
Holy Symbol of Venklevore - This is clearly Spug's pride and joy of all his equipment. Spug had a talented carver create this symbol from darkwood. It appears as a large frog leg with a large bite taken out of the side. The leg its self has been lacquered in shiny emerald green paint.
Skull Cap - Spug wears the skull of large lizard as a helmet. The skull is only intact from the eye sockets and up.
Dissection/Torture Kit - Spug keeps a variety of small tools in his moldy belt pouch. Small knives, chisels, saws and tongs with varying degrees of rust are contained within.
Necklace of Death - Aside from his trophy armor, Spug likes to honor Venkelvore by wearing a necklace with of a variety of parts which he feels reflects death in its purest forms. The necklace is comprized of several small lizard and monkey skulls, some large teeth, a piece of a young goblin's femur, and several humanoid fingers in various states of decay.
Background:
Spug has been fascinated with death since the day he was born. As a gobling his first subjects became small animals. He loved to chase them down, torture them and disect them. Soon he found more interest in watching the pain and misery of more complex creatures, such as some of his weaker fellow goblings.
As Spug matured, he loved to follow the warriors on their hunts and watch the different ways they would kill their foes. Every scream, every spurt of blood made him smile with an inner giddiness.
Spug enjoys cheering on his fellow goblins as they slay and maim, and for each foe they defeat, Spug claims the life in the name of Venkelvore. Although not as strong and mighty as warriors, Spug has claimed more that few lives all on his own with the aid of Venkelvore's gift.
Although somewhat maniacal at times, Spug is good natured and quick to entrall his allies with magic and cheers to defeat their enemies.
Personality:
Despite his obsession with death, Spug has been a most friendly and loyal goblin. Weaker goblins fear him greatly. More powerful goblins know the help Spug can provide, and consider him a loyal friend. One such goblin is Chief Gutwad. Spug trustworthiness has gained him the position of the Chief's Left Hand.
Spug smiles a lot... maybe too much, and enjoys talking. He has learnt that the best offense available to him, are his fellow goblins. Spug tries to surround himself with friends and allies at all times, as he readily relies on them to do the dirty work, while Spug assists with finishing blows.
Warcry:
Hear My Cry!
Die Die Die!
Kill them all!
Make them fall!
Death lots more!
For Venklevore!
Splushy, Pet Toad:
Spug also has a crippled, maimed and badly scarred toad, Splushy. Splushy has been the only toad that has been able to withstand the constant abuse and torture Spug often inflicts upon him. Spug considers him to be most lucky for this reason, where-as Splushy probably differs with this thought.
