Background:
Around her, the palace burned.
That is what she remembers. There were days before, happy and golden days that lasted all the eternity she knew. When life was simple. She learned to sing, to dance, to play little games of chance and logic. She learned how to please the ear; the eye, the men of court and ladies in waiting.
Perhaps to dream of sand...
She did not think often of her origins then or now; such things are unimportant next to the intricacies of the present. She knew the name of her old culture, and knew of her expected god, just as she was told it's language, that she might sing it more sweetly for her captors (though she did not think them such, for they were all she knew.)
But then it burned and she was free, to wander evermore the drifting sands and endless sea of life, and it's mystery. Samanra spent a few long years becoming weary and educated in the ways of the world, gathering scars and memories enough to know that her greatest assets often gathered the most trouble. Enough to know to carry bright steel or glistening bronze in hopes of dealing with the problems; those that a curving form, silver tongue and smooth smile could not.
Appearance and Personality:

Bronze Skinned and dressed to seduce, Samanra carries herself with a carefully maintained air of dignified beauty, salacious desire or hunched quiet as the situation requires. Her pleasingly full curves usually cloaked in a Linen/Cotton Shendyt and Shawl with thinner fabrics to serve as decorative trim, ribbons or sashes. More often than not she simply leaves her chest bare save for thin straps to cover the nipples in prudish company, A veil/scarf is wrapped around her neck most usually, fastened with a simplistic torc/brooch or attached to a caul, or ribbon entwined with her braid.
She stands 5’ 3”, and weighs enough to pass for healthy. Her hair is black and eyes a gold flecked brown, the hair usually styled to a braided over one side, with the other shaved bald.
A sight that many are privileged to see in full, if briefly, the bronzed skin of the woman's supple thighs are covered in a coloured burst of tattoos; strokes and lines form a glittering gold sunrise atop the Mons of her precious centre, outlined in a subtle gradient of lapis blue. A protective and rejuvenating ankh of silver, outlined with matte rose red, decorates the perineum.
The tattoo, once a mark of her owner, is now a source of pride in making her uniquely decorated. A thing of beauty owned by itself.
Personality:
Scheming but Obedient
Samanra is a servant, born and bred. She served in the seraglio from the moment she grew old enough to gain male interest, and knew little else until her world burned down around her. She carries a dying sense of simplistic pleasure seeking, that swiftly seems to be hardening into a cold, flinty sort of pragmatic cynicism. It only grows worse with every male or female that seeks to press their attentions on her, or exploit Samanra for their own gain.
