About Remy De Winter
Remy de Winter is a notorious womanizer, drunk and gambler.
Originally he was raised in a small Taldan farming community. When he turned 17 he was enrolled in the Taldan Imperial Navy. He quickly realized that military life was not for him. Drilling, patrolling and garrison duty would surely have gotten the better of his sanity if it had not been for the few moments when he could sit with his comrades have a beer or glass of wine and play cards or dice. Inevitably Remy got in trouble. He had earned a lot of coin gambling and was negligent of his duties. In the end Remy deserted from the navy to start a life as a gambler in Almas. On a number of occasions Remy encoutered Pathfinders at the card table and was in the end recruited.
Remy is unshaved and wears an old reinforced Taldan mariner's coat with epollets end gilded buttons and all. Under his soldier's hat Remy wears his hair set in a low pony tail with a white ribbon.
When sober Remy can be a mean bastard. Sarcastic, spitefull and generally unpleasant. When drinking, gambling, fighting or wenching Remy's personality brightens considerably. Truth be told, Remy is not proud of his history as a deserter and knows he can never return to his family and friends. He is easily distracted though and in such situations reverts to his original lighthearted self.
