Info and Bio:

Tall and long limbed Pyrrha has never been accepted for her heritage created when her drow mother took a mwangi slave as her mate. Pyrrha is slender, shaped by a life of undernourishment, dark skin riddled with scars from lashings of her former masters and days toiling in both the sun and the radiation of the underdark and her black hair is long, wavy, and pulled back into a convenient ponytail by a precious metal hairpin shaped like a crescent moon. Pyrrha’s hair is her favorite asset after her brains and she often wears unique, antique jewelry.

While often appearing as a non-caring type that could simply walk away from a person down on their luck, she will in fact go to great lengths to help her friends and people she thinks highly of, though that list is not long. Sarcastic and rarely charming (CHA 8), she has a reputation for being blunt and pessimistic. Pyrrha never would have learned her arcane skills without breaking her word and betraying the competition, and she hates those that have never toiled or suffered to get by. She has difficulties with trust which is reflected by her opinion that, “Friends are only enemies with better patience.”

Pyrrha spent many years in her youth as a slave in the underdark where she was treated little more than a thrall. Her willingness to help an adventuring party that killed her taskmasters led to her learning the skills of the magi under the direction of Nazif Edri and also revealed that Pyrrha had been sold into slavery by her parents. Eventually Pyrhha discovered that both parents were cursed to live as monsters for their heinous crimes, though their whereabouts are unknown.

Near the end of her training, Nazif and the party she travelled with were nearly killed by Ogre Oozes, and even though they survived, the party was practically forced into early retirement due to the extensive injuries sustained. For a time Pyrrha worked as a bodyguard to make ends meet before she spent time in Absolom prison for a petty crime of lawbreaking and unlawful magic use, despite any actual evidence being brought to bear against her beyond the hearsay of racist bigots that have all disappeared since her release.

Bond: Crack-jawed Ahto:

After being released from prison, Pyrrha struggled to find her way back into work. Jobs were temporary at best when the employer would learn that Pyrrha spent time in prison so she found herself doing an odd job or two mostly in security type work. Before long, she was asked to join the Absalom hotspurs because she was proving to be trustworthy and reliable. Running in similar circles Ahto and Pyrrha began running into each other on a regular basis and became friends. Ahto is one of the few people Pyrrha trusts despite his greed and pleasure seeking.
