Now that everyone is back together, Priyya will cast... Cure Moderate Wounds (Talvyra)
Lay on Hands (Tal): 1d6 ⇒ 2 Cure Light Wounds (Mal)
Lay on Hands (Mal): 1d6 ⇒ 4 Cure Light Wounds (Sasha)
I think that puts everyone pretty close to their max right now. Unfortunately, she is out of 3rd spells - so no Cure Disease.
Priyya triages the wounded and attempts to bring Darvesch to consciousness. Rebuke Death and waking him up "Mal, see if you can get Little Sister up. I have very little healing left - mostly spells - so we have to make them count." Rebuke Death (by touch)
Anticipating a possible ghoul mauling, Priyya lays a healing hand on herself before sliding down the pile of bodies. She tumbles forward until every ally and enemy is in range of Alita's power. Calling upon her dwindling spiritual energy, Priyya bathes the area in light once more. I hope this is enough. Swift Action - Lay on Hands (self): 1d6 ⇒ 2 Move Action - Move forward enough to catch everyone in her channel blast, if she has to come into AoO range, she'll do it.
Standard Action - Channel Energy: 30' radius burst; Will Save vs DC:17 for 1/2 DAM
Smelling the taint of undeath on the hag changes everything for Priyya. While she understands Mal's request, it plays into the hag's game and there is no guarantee that Priyya's power will overcome the ghouls. With her energy almost gone, she chooses to focus on the real threat and hopefully bring the battle to a quick end. "No. Finish the hag first!" The warrior-priestess waits for the right moment. When the hag is exposed, she casts an ancient spell - summoning all of Alita's glory. Her scarred hand heats up and glows painfully bright. A ravening beam of raw light, like being in the heart of the sun, fires from her hand and hammers into the hag, lighting up the room briefly with its blinding glare. When the power wanes from Priyya's arm, she slaps her smoking hand against her thigh. "Son of b!tch, that was hot!" She surveys the damage to her enemy, hoping to find only a pile of smoking cinders. Priyya will move as necessary to ensure she has a clean shot at Nylithati. Searing Light
Priyya puts two more arrows in the hag. FULL RND ACT - FLURRY (SHORTBOW crit: 20/3x):
HIT: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 8 - 1 = 24 base, fob
Rng Inc: 70' | -1/Increment Do we know that she is undead? Have my channels been affecting her at all? Know: Religion (trying to figure out if the hag is undead) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Priyya delays until all her folks have moved forward so that everyone is in sight, then... Priyya charges dextrously up the hill of bodies, to stand near Talvyra. She calls out. "Punch through and KILL the hag!" She tries to create an opening with Alita's light. Acrobatics 1d20 + 7 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 5 = 28 Boots of Elvenkind MOVE - push forward, full distance. STANDARD - Channel Energy: 30' radius burst; Will Save vs DC:17 for 1/2 DAM
If Priyya has LOS on the hag... If not, the nearest ghoul or ghouls will do. Priyya takes careful aim at Nylithati and looses two arrows, guided by Alita, then steps 5' closer to protect Darvesch and Tal. FULL RND ACT - FLURRY (SHORTBOW crit: 20/3x):
HIT: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 8 - 1 = 27 base, fob Crit?
Rng Inc: 70' | -1/Increment
Priyya races around the corner after the jungle cat and stops Move to N40 at the wall of undead. She assays the situation, eldritch flames licking across her body. "Good. This is a just fight." The holy fighter channels the power of her deity trying to blast the undead from existence before she turns her attention to the hag that created them. Standard Action - Channel Energy: 30' radius burst; Will Save vs DC:17 for 1/2 DAM
She points a finger at the hag. "I'm coming for you, crone."
Priyya casts a spell and lays a hand on Mal. "I'll go see to Darvesch." She strides down the dark tunnel. Cure Moderate Wounds
Priyya nods, "Unfortunately, I'm not equipped to fend off the poison in your veins... but I think we have a scroll for that. Let's get back to the surface so we can get everyone in fighting shape." She frowns for a moment, realising that Alis and Sasha are no longer guarding their exit. "Let's hope our escape route isn't compromised."
Priyya stares the down the narrow tunnel. The fleeting view of parts of the ghouls are not enough for her to target with her bow. She pats the hip of the hunting cat lovingly. "Come'on, Sister, let's go. No killing for you yet." Priyya and Tal fall back to the tunnel's entrance. Seeing that a few people, particularly Darvesch, are in poor shape Priyya calls on the power of Alita yet again. He scarred palm glows then bursts with holy light. MOVE: 30' move. STAND: 30' rad burst; Will Save DC:17 for 1/2 DAM

QUESTION: Why am I being bot'ed when I'm available to play to my own character?
LOL! I'm not talking about pressing on necessarily... just healing up and assessing where we are at. Frankly, if that Snake decides to vanish, I'd like to take a quick peek in the shrine with Priyya's Daylight spell going to see what exactly is at the north end. It might be worth a snake strike to do it. But again, that's a consideration for after we regroup.
I'm not sure things were that dire - but the potential for disaster was there. Darvesch was in pretty good shape HP-wise and thankfully the snake didn't pull out a new attack - a grapple or something like that. But with Mal and Priyya being closest to the exit, out of immediate snake range, and acting after D and then the Snake... if anything had gone wrong with D's retreat or the Snake's attack on its turn, Mal or Priyya would be in position to assist. Similarly, with Mal retreating last as he was closest to the exit, if something went wrong, everyone in the tunnel would see it and be able to get back there in short order. I'm not sure we need to run all the way back to the surface. Initially, I was thinking we meet up in the cavern before the 'Shrine'. Hopefully that narrow passage way will stop any further Snake incursions. Handling the ghouls shouldn't be much of a problem, provided we don't run into 2 dozen of them.
Priyya growls. What part of a leapfrog retreat do these people not understand? She casts a spell to irritate the cobra and hopefully provide Darvesch with a little cover before she makes for the exit. A column of holy rain begins to drench the unholy snake. STAND ACTION: Cast Holy Storm centered on AO63
MOVE ACTION: Head to AL57
Priyya weighs offense versus defense. She turns her back on the lurking ghoul and faces the cobra. She pulls her bow up and takes a steadying breath. A glow suffuses her body and weapons. Two arrows leave her bow in rapid succession, seeking the head of the snake. "Boys, I think it is time to go. I don't know if we'll see another blast of that unholy energy... and I really don't want to find out." SWIFT ACT - SMITE the Snake aka Priyya plays 'Whack-a-Mole' FULL ACT - FLURRY + SMITE (SHORTBOW crit: 20/3x):
HIT: 1d20 + 8 - 1 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 8 - 1 + 5 - 2 = 24 base, fob, smite, sickened
5' move to AM63
Priyya is delighted to be alive and standing until the stink hits her nose, causing her eyes to water. It is almost more painful than the gash across her chin. Priyya burns through Alita's power at an alarming rate, trying to stem the tide and give her teammates a chance to escape. She is heartened to see the Sergeant on his feet. "Mal! Quit fv<king around! Either kill that bastard or get over here!" Priyya prays that her power can work through the defenses of the enemy. Come'on Alita or Sumalya... whichever of you grants luck to witless fools. We need a few of these creatures to drop. Standard Action - Channel Energy: 30' radius burst; Will Save vs DC:17 for 1/2 DAM
Swift Action - Lay on Hands (self): 1d6 ⇒ 3
Priyya staggers but Surya-ka-Vahaak won't let her fall. She doesn't have the strength to do much and there is the very real risk that she will collapse if she exerts herself... and be consigned to a fate she'd rather not speculate upon. Still, have to try... Priyya summons the power of Alita once again to scourge the damned and save the living. Hoping he is conscious, she yells to her friend. "Mal! GET your ASS UP, Sergeant! MOVE IT!" If still conscious... Priyya lays a healing hand on herself and holds the line, willing Darvesch and Lureene to make it safely into the tunnel. Standard Action - Channel Energy: 30' radius burst; Will Save vs DC:17 for 1/2 DAM
Swift Action - Lay on Hands (self): 1d6 ⇒ 3 I'm assuming since I'm staggered this round that I won't get a Move Action in addition to a Standard Action regardless of the healing I put on myself.
A blast of holy light emanates from Priyya, sweeping across the living and the undead. The warrior-priestess then advances on a flanking ghoul. "Watch your back, Mal." She was about to give him tactical advice but knows the clawed sergeant will choose his own path. Standard Action - Channel Energy: 30' radius burst; Will Save vs DC:17 for 1/2 DAM
5' step to AN63 - closing with the bad guy looking to block the exit.
Priyya slides past Lureene and jogs into the cavern after Darvesch. She slides to a halt when she comes in sight of the massive undead lurking behind the pillar. "Holy sh!t." Priyya compares the slender arrow knocked in her bow to the huge creature. Probably not going to be enough. Priyya quickly casts a spell and a ravening beam of pure white light shoots from her palm towards the hiding creature. Move Action - Looks like she can get to AO or AN64. With the disappearing grid lines over the black areas, it is hard to tell exact coordinates. Standard Action - Searing Light
Priyya spares a glance at Mal to see his reaction to the dwarf's words before responding, "Darvesch, you may be laboring under some mistaken perceptions. Mal is a veteran of the Daemonshade - fighting unholy creatures at the rift in reality that plagues our world. I am a warrior-priestess of Alita. I hunt the unholy - whether undead, demon, devil, or man. Death is the absolution I bring. Lureene..." She gives the other woman an appraising look, "Lureene has her own history with demon-kind which she can tell you about at some other time. Suffice it to say... all of us know the face of death and have delivered it. If you wish to finish Kovacks yourself for some spiritual or professional reason, I have no objection... but I won't be turning my back until the job is done and we are all out safe."
Priyya wipes the gore from her scimitar with a bit of cloth and points the curved blade down the eastern passage. "The main source of evil is that way and down a bit." Finished with cleaning, Priyya discards the rag and looks at the succubus. "Without knowing what Kovacks has turned into, I can't speculate on what sort of redemption is possible for him. Moreover, El, I am Surya-ka-Vahaak. I am a destroyer for Alita, not a redeemer. I won't risk anyone's safety trying to capture him on the off chance we can find a cure. His course has been set, as has mine. Destruction is the only salvation I can offer him."
Priyya scans the area for evil and the two harem girls for evil. She also tries to orient herself to where they are in proximity to the evil she detected below the tower. We are SE of that and moving away, correct? "We need to put these doxies down for good. I have to wonder if these alcoves are some sort of conversion chamber." Priyya moves towards the harem girls, prepared to coup-de-grace them.
Mal wrote: Looking at Darkmane and Darvesch, he holds it up, a perplexed look on his face. "I thought the damn rope snapped. What the hell happened? Something knock you off?" She waves the question off. "It was a mishap, Mal. What can I say? We were dangling like meat on a string with these leaping undead bastards coming at us." Mal wrote: He looks them up and down, noting that Priyya must have already healed any injuries. "Alis is staying top-side and I've got Little Sister looking after her. Lureene will follow shortly. What are we dealing with here, Darkmane?" Finding Mal's military bearing somewhat amusing, Priyya makes up an answer that sounds vaguely martial to her ears. "It was your standard Gulf Echo Six scenario, Lieutenant. Two undead and us lounging around on headless corpses." She switches to business, "We haven't seen any of the other creatures. We've probably lost the element of surprise when I started yelling. Since you don't have darkvision, I'm thinking I should light this place up and we'll proceed boldly. What do you think?"
Priyya rises from the pile of corpses and gives Mal a smile and a gore-streaked thumbs-up. "We're good, Mal. Sorry about that tumble. We had a little mishap hanging onto the rope down here. We've bagged two of these beasts and I don't see any others in here at the moment." She turns her attention to the dwarf. "Darvesch, are you alright?"
Priyya doesn't even bother getting up. Her scarred palm glows and another wave of light flashes across the cavern, healing Darvesch and herself while it scours the undead. Standard Action - Channel Positive Energy
Move Action - Priyya takes a good look around this place, looking for more of these creatures, any other threat, or anything of note. Perception 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
Priyya tries to lure as many of the creatures forward as possible. "Get your fresh meat right here!" She waits until the beasts surge forward and are almost upon them before sending forth a stark white blast of Alita's healing and destructive light. Ready - Channel Channel Energy (30' radius burst)
Priyya gets down to business. "Ghouls aren't bright and their hunger defines them. I think they'll come to investigate a dangling piece of bait. After I blast them once with Alita's power, they may retreat, but who can say? If we can figure a way - a series of pulleys perhaps and possibly Sasha helping Mal on balancing the load - I'd be happy for the extra company on the way down, Darvesch. Knowing your father, I can well imagine you wouldn't want to be left out of the 'fun'." This is Justin, I'm back on for a bit.
Gents, work continues to be 'highly intrusive' so I probably won't have much time to post this week. Feel free to NPC Priyya if I'm slowing things down. Laith, I'm taking "Channel Smite" as my 5K feat... some demon, devil, or undead will have a very bad day (assuming it blows the save) when I manage to connect with that.
Priyya glowers at the gnome's condition and casts Remove Disease on him.
Out of 3rd level spells.
