Rage Powers:
Superstition (Ex): The barbarian gains a +2 morale bonus on saving throws made to resist spells, supernatural abilities, and spell-like abilities. This bonus increases by +1 for every 4 levels the barbarian has attained. While raging, the barbarian cannot be a willing target of any spell and must make saving throws to resist all spells, SLAs, and Supernatural abilities, even those cast/used by allies.
Burst of Prowess (Ex): Once per rage, as a swift action, gain a bonus to an attack roll equal to half of your barbarian level (minimum 1) or a bonus to a damage roll equal to your barbarian level. This can be applied retroactively after the results are known. This can used additional times per rage at the cost of an additional round of rage.
Beast Totem (Ex): Gain Alertness as a bonus feat. While raging, gain a +1 natural armor bonus. This bonus increases by 1 for every four barbarian levels you've attained.
Witchhunter (Ex): You gain a +2 bonus to weapon damage rolls against spellcasters and targets with spell-like abilities. Once per rage, as a free action (blah blah blah) dispel magic in addition to damage on an attack.
Spell Sunder (Su): Once per rage, the barbarian can attempt to sunder an ongoing spell effect by succeeding at a combat maneuver check. For any effect other than one on a creature, the barbarian must make her combat maneuver check against a CMD of 15 plus the effect's caster level. To sunder an effect on a creature, the barbarian must succeed at a normal sunder combat maneuver against the creature's CMD + 5, ignoring any miss chance caused by a spell or spell-like ability. If successful, the barbarian suppresses the effect for 1 round, or 2 rounds if she exceeded the CMD by 5 to 9. If she exceeds the CMD by 10 or more, the effect is dispelled.
Improved Prowess: When using Burst of Prowess, the attack it is applied to ignores miss chance from concealment and treats total concealment as concealment. This attack also ignores cover penalties except those from total cover and any damage reduction the target has.
Intimidating Glare: The barbarian can make an Intimidate check against one adjacent foe as a move action. If the barbarian successfully demoralizes her opponent, the foe is shaken for 1d4 rounds + 1 round for every 5 points by which the barbarian's check exceeds the DC.
Witchhunter (Ex): You gain an additional +2 to weapon damage rolls against targets with spells or SLAs, and can dispel magic additional times per rage by spending additional rage rounds (1 for second, 2 for third, 3 for fourth, etc.).
Peacock Totem: As a swift action, the barbarian can issue a challenge to an enemy within 30 feet. That enemy takes a -2 penalty to attacks, rolls, and checks except against the barbarian until it hits the barbarian. This penalty increases by 1 for every four levels the barbarian has attained. This is a mind-affecting effect.

Backstory:
Grondyn began his life among dwarves, and remained with his family until just after he was weaned. Mere days after, his father carried the babe to an ancient meeting site to affirm the treaty which had served their clan for generations. When Grondyn's father arrived at the ceremonial clearing, he was alone. He worked quickly, afraid that lingering too long would cause him to lose his calm facade and allow realization of his loss to sink in.

Removing the new greataxe from its place on his back, he laid it upon the cold ground and placed the child, sleeping, on top of it. He glanced around, but the forest was silent around him; as it had always been, according to the stories. Turning quickly, he strode away.

A short time later, a fiercely-painted human entered the clearing, picking her way carefully toward the center. Her face relaxed when she saw the child, and she gathered him, and the axe, and left the clearing.

Grondyn was given the name Pirknok by his tribe (of the Shundar-Quah, the Spire Clan), and grew up learning their language and their ways, knowing no other. At age five he received his tribal tattoo, and at age 15 he began his three-year rite of passage to become an adult. Though not yet considered an adult by dwarves, the Shoanti from that time on treated him as one. After the rite, he returned to his tribe, and lived in relative peace for 27 years.

Recently, though, the rise of giant activity in the north has brought about a change. Pirknok's tribe, wandering on the Storval Plateau in their never-ending journey, was attacked by giants and nearly wiped out. The survivors fled south, seeking refuge with their Shoanti relatives in Sandpoint.
