Traits:
Chernasardo Hopeful You’ve pledged your skills and your life to the Chernasardo rangers, studying to protect your homeland from foreign invaders. You currently remain a neophyte in this secretive guerrilla army. You have yet to be entrusted with many of their secrets, and spend a great deal of time training with the old ranger Aubrin in Phaendar to hone your skills of hunting and tracking. In forest or plains terrain, you may reduce a single target’s effective level of concealment against you (from total concealment to concealment to not concealed) by studying your natural surroundings as a move action. This reduced concealment ends immediately once the target moves from its current location. At 10th level, you may study your terrain as a swift action instead. Hunter's Knack When you watch and wait before attacking, your strike is true. You gain a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls against your favored enemies when you make such attacks as part of a readied action. Ability Score Breakdown:

"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to stare?" Otho says with a smirk on his face. "Let me guess. You are surprised by how tall I am. I know it’s hard to believe, but it is true. I am a full three feet and one and one quarter inches tall. It’s impressive, I know." Otho puffs out his chest with pride. ”What? That’s not it? Oh… Well then it must be my luscious brown locks! The are rare for my race. The women love them.” Otho runs his hands through his thick, medium length, chestnut brown hair. ”No? My green eyes then? Hmm… Never mind you.” Defeated, Otho hops down off the low stone wall and walks away in a huff dragging his bruised ego through the muddy streets behind him. He is so preoccupied with his thoughts that he doesn’t even notice when the contents of an emptied chamber pot splash down less than a foot behind him and splatter his new leather armor and cloak with foul matter. Backstory:
I grew up on a small farm in the plains near Phaendar. I was the youngest of three children. Always having two brothers around ensured that I was never lonely, and it made the work easier on Mom, especially since my father died when I was very young. I was never much of a farmer though; I just don’t have the patience to care for crops. Instead, I would run off to find something more fun to do. Sometimes I would go exploring in the Fangwood, or wander through the gullies. My mother always warned me of the dangers; ”Otho! That is enough! I forbid you from going there ever again! Who knows what might find you when you are down there. There are rumors that some goblinoids have set up some sort of camp in there. They are dangerous, Otho. Stay at the farm, where you are safe.” But I was not easily frightened, and the possibility of something exciting happening intrigued me. So I went back, every day, until one day I found the camp. From that day on, I was infatuated with goblins of all shapes and sizes. I would track them, and try to listen to what they were saying. I learned to speak goblin, and I learned everything I could about them. Then one day, I got a little too close and one of them saw me. I ran. I ran as fast as I could, but I knew I was in trouble because I knew that they were much bigger and faster than I was. I ran and ran and ran. The undergrowth in the gully helped slow down the hobgoblins, but I knew they would catch me eventually. A few yards behind me, I heard growling. Thinking that this was the end of the chase, I pulled the knife out of my belt and spun around to face the hobgoblins. Wide eyed, I stared at the scene unfolding before me. A wolf had pounced on one of the hobgoblins and was in the process of rippings the goblinoid’s throat out. After finishing the first hobgoblin, the wolf stared at the two other hobgoblins with its blood soaked muzzle and growled. The hobgoblins stood frozen, not knowing what to do with the sudden change in circumstance. The wolf shifted its gaze towards me, and as his eyes met mine, I heard what it was thinking; Run. So I did. While I have never seen that wolf again, sometimes when I am outside and alone, it feels as if I am being watched, and I can’t shake the feeling that it might be him. Nine months, seven days, two hours and twenty two minutes ago, my mother died. She fell ill with a fever and the healers couldn’t bring her out of it. After she died, I couldn’t stay at the farm anymore. There were just too many sad memories. So I left for Phaendar. That is when I met Aubrin. Aubrin took me under his wing, and I have been training with him every day. He introduced me to the Chernasardo rangers and help me become a neophyte in their malitia. Hopefully one day I will earn their respect and become a full member of the group. Until then, I will continue to work with Aubrin and wait to see what fate has in store.
