Naelah gained her name from two facts – that she was born during a heavy snowfall, and that her hair is a white-blonde color. Matched against her hair is a pair of soulful blue eyes that range from the color of the sea she has never seen, to the color of hard ice. She wears her hair tied back, and one can clearly see a number of tribal markings on her face and arms. She dresses sensibly, with her body covered in protective leathers, along with a tough-looking, if somewhat rustic, backpack. She wears a good pair of leather boots, and a hooded grey cloak hangs about her shoulders. Hanging from her left hip is a scimitar with a worn handle, it has obviously had its grip re-done many times. Hanging from her backpack is a small wooden shield, and she grips a sturdy staff in her left hand for ease of walking, but no doubt it could to fend off attackers also.
At her heels, a wolf with dark grey fur and black ‘socks’ on its legs, accompanies her.

Born during the winter snows, Naelah grew up within the safety of the Shoanti Wind Clan (known in their own tongue as the Tamiir-Quah). Even as a child, Naelah demonstrated an uncanny insight into the world around her, and the clan cultivated this within her. At the age of ten, all of the children within the clan are placed on the path they will follow for much of their life – and Naelah was placed upon a path that used her insight and her respect for nature all in one – the path of a shaman. Naelah has participated in a number of skirmishes as she has grown, successfully helping her clan’s warriors to survive many a battle with her talent for healing magic.
As she has come of age, she is now on the journey that all the clanspeople take. She plans to return to her clan in a few years with stories, skills, and an even greater wisdom, to best serve her clan.
