Once Kreg realizes that his spear struck true and that the "Queen" is dead, he begins to dance while doing an occasional back-flip. For a moment he is unaware of his allies actions as his mind wonders off to a small village where one beautiful gnome lady lives. "Aye, let's get the stones and whatever else she may have. We don't know if she has something else that we may need to save the forest!" Kreg does a thorough search of the Queen's belongings. Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21
M Gnome Rouge 7
With more of the images gone, Kreg gets a feeling of luck as he stabs his spear once more at the Queen. Longspear: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30, damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 plus 1d6 ⇒ 6 acid damage With no map I'm unable to know if I can do a sneak attack which is one of my biggest strengths... Longspear (confirm): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26 (+2 more for flanking) X3 damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 plus 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Hell with it. The images all have to be next to each other and we're all attacking an image, it's almost impossible NOT to flank. So I'm rolling my sneak attack damage also:
Wow, only 5 points from 4d6?! So if that all hits the real queen then that is 33 points of damage. Probably did all of that just to get rid on one image!
M Gnome Rouge 7
OK, nine queens in the middle of a mirrored circular bed with wine, birds, and jewels? Did we just walk into an orgy? Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 Kreg follows Thunder's lead and picks a queen and charges her. Assuming he is able to after Rhoswen's turn. If Thunder doesn't pick the right image he will go after number 1d8 ⇒ 7. Longspear: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11, damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 plus 1d6 ⇒ 4 acid damage, plus 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 1) = 13 sneak attack Wow...bad time to roll a 1.
M Gnome Rouge 7
Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 Kreg notices that what he saw was an illusion and sighs in frustration. Then hears Abigail yell out the Queen's location and closes in for an attack as she becomes clear to him. Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 Longspear: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14, damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 plus 1d6 ⇒ 2 acid damage
M Gnome Rouge 7
Thanks for rolling my damage mott. I've been working crazy hours this week. I also have Befuddling Strike, so she has a -2 on attacks on me for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds. Kreg charges the queen once more, his spear leading the way. The normally jovial gnome grits his teeth and concentrates on hitting her where she is weakest. Charge: 1d20 + 10 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 10 + 2 + 2 = 22 Not sure if that is a hit since she won't be denied her Dex bonus this time. I'll roll my damage just in case: Damage: 1d6 + 4 + 1d6 + 4d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (6) + (1, 2, 6, 6) = 28

motteditor wrote: Kregimie charges toward her, but misses as she suddenly takes a step into another part of the tree and disappears again. Motteditor, just checking to see if you factored in Kreg's bonuses for being invisible when attacking (+2 to attack and ignore Dex bonus to AC). Plus he was charging, which I think you had in there. So it looks like his attack would be a 20 against her AC without Dex. If he still misses then he will begin to attack whichever tree Thunder is this round.

Sorry to miss out on the action. Should be able to post now! Kregimie believes he sees a glimpse of Lumi in the Queen's mirror. His face gets flush as he realized what may happen to her and the people of her village if the Queen has her way. He lifts a potion to his lips and then vanishes from sight. He drinks a potion of invisibility and then moves into the chamber, looking for the queen.

"Right!" Kreg says enthusiastically in response to Abigail. "I say we should get through those double doors and head right into the thick of whatever lies beyond!" Kreg will wait for some input from his friends and for Koremar to finish healing before going to whichever door is decided upon. He will then approach quietly and inspect the door(s). Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33, Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (12) + 16 = 28

Kreg inspects the stairs for any alarms or traps and stability. He then holds his ear up the stairs and listens for any sounds emanating down. perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27 He then turns and whispers to his friends. "I suppose it's deal with the dancing creatures in the other room or sneak up on whatever is upstairs. What do you all think? I'd like to see what is up there."
M Gnome Rouge 7
I thought we had seen something already in the area north of where Kreg is shown on the map but maybe not. Kreg quietly moves to the two doors ahead to check for traps or locks. Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21 Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33
M Gnome Rouge 7
Kreg lets out a sigh of relief as his opponent hit the ground. He didn't want to betray his attempt at hiding the true fear he felt by losing two of his allies during battle. If Kreg was able to sense that the creature might stabilize, he would tell Koremar to finish it off before leaving. Kreg nods at Koremar and quietly sneaks down the path his friends took while leaving. Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24
M Gnome Rouge 7
Not sure without a map, but can Kreg take another 5' step and flank this round? If not, he will take another 5' step to get into position for next round. Koremar would be aiming to flank also, right? Wondering where his other two comrades are, Kreg continues chipping away at the beast in front of him. Longspear: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20, damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 plus 1d6 ⇒ 4 acid damage
M Gnome Rouge 7
Kreg moves into position (When his initiative comes) to flank one of the two Satyrs, then slams his longspear into the beast. Longspear: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22, damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 plus 1d6 ⇒ 5 acid damage, plus 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 5) = 16 sneak attack. If the attack hits, Kreg gets +4 to his AC against that foe for one round (Offensive Defense) and he is -2 on attacks against me for 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds (Befuddling Strike).
M Gnome Rouge 7
Hmmm...what in the Hells?! Kreg thinks to himself. He then slowly withdraws a few steps to meet his friends. He quietly whispers to them what he saw then adds "I'm sure that we'd likely end up on the hanging from the ceiling side of things instead of chummy dancing with new friends if we just waltzed in there. Hey, that was punny!"
M Gnome Rouge 7
Kreg quietly approaches the the single door, walking slowly and inspecting the environment as he does so.
When he makes it to the door, he inspects it.
M Gnome Rouge 7
Much to Kreg's delight, Koremar takes out his healing wand and points it at him. 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (6, 3) + 3 = 12
Great rolls! 75/78 after 4 charges, thanks! Feeling much better, Kreg looks at both sets of doors. "So, the double doors for double the danger, or the single door for more sneaky-ness?"
