"If I recall correctly, the bounty on the chief's head was 300 gold. I say we go ahead and take that head now."
"A light? As in fire? He is boarded up in his hut. We could simply set fire to it and leave rather than waste time trying to break our way in. I know that it is not an honorable way to defeat a foe, but goblins are not honorable creatures to begin with."
"Their chief doesn't sound much like a leader to be leaving his people on their own this way. I think we should go and investigate this cave to west. Hopefully whatever happened here was just done to retrieve that chest, but if these idiots have disturbed something malevolent, it might pick other targets to attack as well. Like Sandpoint. I want to know what is going on there."
"Skeletons? Actual, undead skeletons? Why would such things be interested in a chest of fireworks? I swear if your village wasn't actually in ruins right now I would just kill you for making up an outrageous story." Kirsteen sighs and shakes her head. "Where did you find this chest of fireworks?"
Kirsteen sighs and moves over to where the goblin is cowering. "Quit your shrieking before I skewer you and tell us what happened here. Who attacked your village and why is that big hut boarded up?"
Kirsteen looks for house where she saw a face peering from and heads towards it.
"Of course we want to take one for questioning. I would prefer to question one before we try to clear out the village. They are obviously still fearful of something and I am not convinced it is just us that they fear. We need to know if something else is still lurking about this village. Something more dangerous than just the goblins."
"Okay, now this is just too damn strange. I know there are goblins still around, I keep seeing the little buggers out of the corner of my eyes, but they seem interested in attacking us. I'd really like to know what just happened here. That creature that impersonated Walthus mentioned more of his kind, he also knew where the goblin camp was. Did he and his people come through here first? If they did, could they have impersonated goblins like they did with Walthus?"
Kirsteen looks about at the destroyed camp. "I wonder just what happened here? Given the time that all of us set out, I find it hard to imagine that any of the other groups would have time to beat us here and do all this damage before us." Kirsteen scans the ground, looking more closely at the tracks to see if there are a good number of human sized ones mixed in with the goblin ones.
Vacation? Noooo!
Kirsteen makes sure to note what the creatures feet look like for when she is later trying to track and follows Ri to the pyre with the creature, ready to take a stab at it in case it's faking being dead.

Kirsteen turned to stare at Ryouchi, her ears having tuned out everything after being called lovely. Was he actually talking about me? She's shaken out of it when Ryouchi finishes the creature off with an arrow to the head.

Kirsteen remains standing guard over their prisoner, making sure that it doesn't escape while the others deal with the body and searching about. "Are you ready to answer any questions yet, whatever the hell you are?"

Until you prove you're older than me, yeah, it's boyo. :P Beef is alot easier to get than Lamb, so a recipe with that.

I would like to try haggis sometime.
I've tried Bison. The Fudruckers where I used to live had bison burgers and ostrich burgers as well as great regular burgers. I also miss living near my family during deer hunting season. My cousin makes a really awesome deer chili. He's also the one with the recipe for squirrel brain gravy. I never tried that though.
Don't think that I could actually eat a bug.

Kirsteen continues scanning the woods around the little cabin as she calls out to those inside it. "Is everything ok in there?" I hope that was the only one of its kind around here...
Kirsteen lays the now tied up creature on the ground and back away a step as she draws her spear and points it at him in case he tries anything. "No apology needed Ryouichi, this thing was certainly struggling enough to be a hard target to hit. " Kirsteen smiles at Ri for his apology. Nice of him to apologize and be concerned though. " I can guard him if anyone else wants to help Xutal search the cabin."
"Enough guys or you will kill it. Get some rope so that we can tie it up and question it. I want to know what happened to the real Walthus." Kirsteen maintains her hold on the creature while she waits for someone to tie up the creature.
"What the hell is that thing?" Kirsteen moves to attempt to grapple the creature, wanting to take it alive to answer questions.
"Well crap. There goes being subtle...." Kirsteen sprints after Ri and then sees Bjorn threatening Walthus.
"Well then, I guess we will be on our way then. I think that we are still ahead of the other groups, but another one could be stopping by here at any moment now." Kirsteen moves over to Ri, touching his arm to ensure his attention and making sure she is turned away from Walthus. "I think that once we get down the road a bit, you and Xutal could do a bit of scouting." Kirsteen's eyes flicker over in the direction of Walthus when she mentions scouting.
"Thank you for the information sir. If you do not mind me giving you some advice, you might want to think about taking a little trip inside town for a couple days. With the bounty on goblin ears there may be a good number of inexperienced hunters out here with bows who may shoot first at any noise they hear and you are one the small size sir."
Kirsteen moves up beside Ri and adds: "A group of them razed a caravan not too far from here and we are searching for the ones responsible."
"Well, I only see one set of tracks, so whatever it was lived in here alone. So at least there aren't anymore of those things around here to deal with." Kirsteen begins making her way towards Walthus's house with the others.
Kirsteen looks about for other tracks and signs of whether or not the creature lived alone or if there could be more living here.
"Fine, but let's be quick about it." Not trusting the men to be quick about this, Kirsteen begins following the creatures track as well. Attempting to find it's lair as well. I swear, if he wasn't Sandru's brother I would have just told him to shut up and keep hunting for the damn goblins.
"Why try to find its lair? It's dead. It also isn't what attacked the caravan and it doesn't have a bounty on its head either. If we waste too much time, one of the other groups may find the goblin camp before us." As always, Kirsteen tries to be practical with their planning.
