Mine Fatherland voted Adolf Hitler chancellor just a few months ago, thanks in no small part to my brother, the *finger quotes* Mighty Baron von Hammersmark. I assured him this vwould be bad for Germany, but who knows? I was never one for politics anyway. For me, the natural vworld holds too many vwonders to vworry about such things. Think about the last time you looked up at the night sky, or split open a rock and held a fossil 250 million years old. Perhaps you did not think much of it. But I cannot help but vwonder...vwhat if that night sky, vwith all it's protean beauty, only appeared one time every century? Vwhat if that fossil was the only one of it's kind, the last and only evidence in existence this creature ever svwam the shallow seas of primordial earth. Vwould you look at them differently then? How small vwe are, our human pride so silly. In just one-million years vwill there even be people on this rock hurling through space vwich vwe call earth?
So I've devoted my life to the study of this vworld. It's rocks. It's sky. It's ancient life. It's ancient people. All the great vwonders!
Und this is vwhy I came to Arkham. No-one in the vworld has a better natural sciences research department than the Miskatonic University. And America is so beautiful, I love it here.
