Satisfied the new opening is clear, Geim heads back toward the chaotic door opening. He runs as far as his dwarven legs will take him and you hear him begin to pray: "Revered Marthammor Duin, shield us from evil and watch over Thravum as he puts himself in harm's way." A shimmering field begins to shine around Thravum and he feels as if his defenses have been bolstered. Shield of Faith: +2 bonus to AC.
Seeing that the situation at the door seems contained, Geim rushes to the new opening behind where the mirror was just shattered and peers into the hall. You see his warhammer start to glow white as with magical energy as he heads toward the opening. "There may be danger coming this way or possibly an escape route." He also hopes in the back of his mind that there may be something of more value back here... Channel Divinity: Sacred Weapon. Make a weapon magical, with a +1 attack bonus and magical light (20ft./20ft.). (Lasts 1 min)
Seeing the wolves rushing down the hall toward Olek, Geim begins to make hand gestures in Olek direction while whispering. A shimmer appears around Olek as if protected by something.
Satisfied he's offered some protection, Geim turns, lifts his hammer above his head and swings down hard on the Great Ulfe. Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Without being prompted, Geim continues offering more about himself and his past. "I hail from the Holgir mountains where my folks make a meager living growing crops. They used to do some adventuring until they had me, so I guess it's in my blood. Recently, we had a bad rock slide wipe out a portion of town and it just so happened to take my beloved Grams with it. Marthammor Duin rest her soul." He reaches into his shirt for something and brings out an amulet. He touches it to his lips then lets it fall back. "After that, I set out on my own and headed for Haven's Cross. I'd have reached the town much sooner if it weren't for some trouble I met along the way. But, I'm here now and that's about the jist of it."
When you look at Geim, you see an average sized dwarf wearing chainmail and holding tight to his warhammer. He's carrying a pack and a beautiful shield on his back. You could almost guess he's a paladin by the looks of him. He's fair skinned and like most of his dwarven brethren, equipped with an impressive beard. The red braids are almost covering it, but you can make out an amulet dangling from a chain around his neck. This might be religious in nature, but you're not sure. He seems to have a calm demeanor about him, but you can tell he doesn't seem to like these orcs. |
