Geim chuckles, "Oh no, I like the warhammer just fine. Would anyone else like to use it? If not, I'm sure someone in town would pay good coin for it."

"Should we make our way to the bridge? This may be a bit more like climbing for you Olias."

"What about seeing where that stairwell leads that opened up behind Ulfe's mirror?"

Geim accepts the bowl of stew from Olek, thanking him as he sits.

"Much obliged Wizard. This smells wonderful."

Looking at the gold inlaid rapier in his other hand he asks the group, "Where do you suppose these treasures came from? There's no way they were plundered from the farming towns..."

Geim leaps the burning table trying to get back into the fight. You hear him begin to pray again and see Thravum's spear light up with magical energy.

Channel Divinity: Sacred Weapon. Make a weapon magical, with a +1 attack bonus and magical light (20 ft./20 ft.)

Satisfied the new opening is clear, Geim heads back toward the chaotic door opening. He runs as far as his dwarven legs will take him and you hear him begin to pray:

"Revered Marthammor Duin, shield us from evil and watch over Thravum as he puts himself in harm's way."

A shimmering field begins to shine around Thravum and he feels as if his defenses have been bolstered.

Shield of Faith: +2 bonus to AC.

Seeing that the situation at the door seems contained, Geim rushes to the new opening behind where the mirror was just shattered and peers into the hall. You see his warhammer start to glow white as with magical energy as he heads toward the opening.

"There may be danger coming this way or possibly an escape route."

He also hopes in the back of his mind that there may be something of more value back here...

Seeing the wolves rushing down the hall toward Olek, Geim begins to make hand gestures in Olek direction while whispering. A shimmer appears around Olek as if protected by something.
I'd like to cast sanctuary on Olek as my bonus action. "any creature who targets the warded creature with an attack or a harmful spell must first make a Wisdom saving throw."

Satisfied he's offered some protection, Geim turns, lifts his hammer above his head and swings down hard on the Great Ulfe.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Geim attempts to dodge the flames.

Dex Save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (14) + 0 = 14

Geim rushes up next to the weakened Grushnak and takes a swing at the Great Ulfe with his warhammer.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Initiative: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (16) + 0 = 16

Geim follows them in.

Dwarven:
"Elves..."

Geim smirks then begins to follow Yark down the northern tunnel.
"Lead the way."

After seeing that there's no immediate threat, Geim motions for Olias to follow as he makes his way up to where Jorlitharr is talking to the orcs.

"Don't worry Olias, what could possibly go wrong?"

Following Olias' quick instruction, Geim moves to hide as well.

"Let's."

Without being prompted, Geim continues offering more about himself and his past.

"I hail from the Holgir mountains where my folks make a meager living growing crops. They used to do some adventuring until they had me, so I guess it's in my blood. Recently, we had a bad rock slide wipe out a portion of town and it just so happened to take my beloved Grams with it. Marthammor Duin rest her soul."

He reaches into his shirt for something and brings out an amulet. He touches it to his lips then lets it fall back.

"After that, I set out on my own and headed for Haven's Cross. I'd have reached the town much sooner if it weren't for some trouble I met along the way. But, I'm here now and that's about the jist of it."

Geim grunts at Grushnak.

"We'll see how smart you are."

When you look at Geim, you see an average sized dwarf wearing chainmail and holding tight to his warhammer. He's carrying a pack and a beautiful shield on his back. You could almost guess he's a paladin by the looks of him.

He's fair skinned and like most of his dwarven brethren, equipped with an impressive beard. The red braids are almost covering it, but you can make out an amulet dangling from a chain around his neck. This might be religious in nature, but you're not sure.

He seems to have a calm demeanor about him, but you can tell he doesn't seem to like these orcs.

"Greetings, everyone. That's one 'ell of a bird you got there."

Geim makes a small head nod toward the orc.

"This is the orc guide I take it..."

Dwarven:

"You're right about that. She'll take more than I give 'er credit for."

"Well met, Thravum."

"The name's Geim. Nice to meet you lads. Thanks for coming out to get me, I wasn't sure if they were friendly or not. I'd hate to have to dent my precious shield on one of their skulls."

Quote:
"Stop! What is your business on the mountain?"

Geim tries to look as non threatening as possible.

"I believe my friends may be inside visiting the Great Ulfe, may he reign forever, and I wish to meet up with them. I come bearing a gift for him. Have they entered?"

After receiving instructions and a bag from Dara, Geim gathers up some extra supplies and makes haste for his new party. From Blasingdell, he makes his way almost through the orc trail when he sees two orc guards standing, blocking the way.

He wonders if they'll let him pass.
