Euphemia di Nereis
CG Human Witch 13
Init +4 Perception +16
Appearance:
Euphemia is an average-sized, lanky Chelish woman with mousy features and obviously dyed red hair with exposed dark roots. She appears younger than she actually is due to some teenage-like awkwardness, large eyes, and nice skin. She has a thick belly warmer that juts in one place, as if there is a single, out of place tumor that wriggles to reveal a small snout now and again. Her fingers are stained; the mark of an obvious alchemist.
Westcrown Relations:
1. Rance Lucca: Rance is Euphemia’s biological older brother whom she takes great pains to look nothing like to avoid living in his shadow. Not that she needs to worry overmuch. She meets him about once a week for tea and tries very, very hard to not get sucked into gladiatorial events after all the stories she’s heard.
2. Tiny the Tinkerer: Landlord to her small apartment, and cooking guinea pig… she tries out new recipes, merging alchemical and savory delectables, in her striving to create the perfect comfort food.
3. Quincy Blackthorn: Professional relationship, though there may be some camaraderie. Euphemia barters with him for ingredients and sometimes fetches what he needs.
Duration of time spent in Westcrown:
She’s been here for years, keeping her head down and experimenting with alchemy, avoiding getting in anyone’s way… though she still couldn’t help but pry into goings-on, she was able to hide under the shadow of the Children.
Background:
Euphemia has kept her original surname. She used to be a part of a noble family that opposed Thrune’s rise. She and her brother learned that such an action often results in… tragedy, as it were. However, her pet hedgehog has been with her every edge of the way, watching her grow. And Rance used to think she was insane for talking to it… It talks back, now, and she and Frank are very happy to call upon an entity known as the Encapsulator for power in enacting vengeance against Thrune’s chosen dominators… devils.
She wants to help Westcrown regain hope, and she certainly wants to know what, aside from the fiends themselves, has been making the darned place suffer for so long. She also wants to help the city recover from more recent catastrophic events, but she doesn’t know where to start, really, except to go visit a more powerful witch than herself and ask for guidance on the matter.
