Background:
A human of alleged Thassolonian descent. Dorian was raised in Korvosa by his mother, a Chelaxian mage of some renown. As a youth Dorian often neglected his studies, thinking that there was more to life than the relentless pursuit of power. At the age of 17 Dorian all but abandoned his studies in the arcane arts to wed his beloved Evelyn.
Two years ago Dorian's Evelyn was murdered, the details of which he has never spoken of. In the two years since her death, Dorian has lost himself in the arcane, vowing "to never be weak again...my love".....
He has currently followed a lead about Evelyn's murderer(s) to the town of Sandpoint during the Swallowtail Festival.
