Traits
..Touched by Divinity: As long as you can remember,
you’ve had an unexplainable interest in one deity in
particular. One of your parents may have been a priest
of this deity, or you may have been an orphan raised
by the church, but these alone cannot explain your
deep connection to the faith. You’ve always felt calm
and at ease in places holy to the deity, and often have
dreams about the god or goddess visiting you—most
often in the form of a sacred animal or creature. Your
faith is strong, even if you don’t happen to be a divine
spellcaster—if you are a divine spellcaster, you should
be a worshiper of this deity. You begin play with a silver
holy symbol of your chosen deity for free. In addition,
choose one domain associated with your chosen deity.
You gain the use of that domain’s 1st-level domain spell
as a spell-like ability usable once per day (CL equals
your character level).
..Indomitable Faith: You gain a +1 trait bonus on will saves
..Rich parent: start with 900 gold.
Drawback
..Righteous Indignation: Whenever a foe provokes an attack of opportunity from you, you must take it unless you succeed at a Will save against a DC equal to 10 + your level. You take a –1 penalty on Will saving throws against spells with the emotion descriptor that do not also have the fear descriptor.

------------------------------
SPECIAL ABILITIES
------------------------------

Angelic Resistance: A Grigori may gain
acid, cold, electricity or fire resistance 5.
Once chosen this ability does not change. Cold Chosen

Celestial Blood: Grigori gains a +2 racial
bonus on saves against poison and
petrification.

Watchful: Grigori gain a +2 racial bonus to
Perception and Sense Motive checks.

Celestial Fertility (Ex): Grigori are
perfectly compatible with mortal
humanoids. Grigori are as likely to conceive
with them as mortals are with those of their
own kind. Grigori who take human mates
become parents in short order. This ignores
all mundane, extraordinary, supernatural
effects and spells that would prevent
pregnancy including a man normally being
impotent or a woman being barren.

Dealthless Spirit: Particularly strong willed
grigori possess celestial spirits capable
of resisting the powers of death. They gain
resistance 5 against negative energy damage.
They do not lose hit points when they gain a
negative level, and they gain a +2 racial
bonus on saving throws against death effects,
energy drain, negative energy, and spells or
spell-like abilities of the necromancy school.

Halo: Some grigori possess the ability to
manifest halos. A grigori with this racial trait
can create light centered on her head at will
as a spell-like ability. When using her halo,
she gains a +2 circumstance bonus on
Intimidate checks against evil creatures and
on saving throws against becoming blinded
or dazzled.

Celestial Armour (Ex):(Ex): The number noted
here is the angelic paragon’s base total armor
bonus. Half the bonus rounded up is an
armor bonus while the remainder rounded
down is a natural armor bonus. An angelic
paragon cannot wear armor of any
kind, as the armor interferes with the angelic
paragon’s divine nature, though the
manifestation of the armor bonus may
appear to be armor.

Ascended: At 1st level the angelic paragon
count as both humanoid and as an outsider
for any effect related to type or race
(banishment, charm person, raise dead, etc.
will all affect her), this includes feat
prerequisites. If subject to a banishment she
would be banished to the plane of her home
deity, ethos, or empyreal lord. At 10th level
this changes so their creature type becomes
outsider with the native subtype.

Providences
Pool of Providences (Su): Starting at 1st
level, each day, the angelic paragon has a
pool of providence points equal to three plus
her class level, she cannot spend more than
one point of providence per round. At 1st
level, she can do any one of the following
three things. At every 2 levels after that she
can select an additional providence ability,
these abilities, can be changed whenever the
angelic paragon gains a new level, but they
are otherwise set. Unless otherwise noted,
each heavenly gift can only be selected once

Celestial Weapon (Su): By expending
a point of providence as a swift action the
angelic paragon causes any
manufactured weapon she uses to gain
the flaming special weapon ability for 1
minute.
At 5th level the weapon gains a +1
enhancement bonus for 1 minute. For
every four additional levels beyond 5th,
the weapon gains another +1
enhancement bonus, to a maximum of
+4 at 17th level. These bonuses can be
added to the weapon, stacking with
existing weapon enhancement to a
maximum of +5. Multiple uses of this
ability do not stack with themselves.
These bonuses can be used to add any
of the following weapon properties:
dancing, defending, disruption, flaming
burst, holy, keen, merciful, and speed.
Adding these properties consumes an
amount of bonus equal to the property’s
base price modifier. These properties are
added to any the weapon already has, but
duplicates do not stack (it cannot exceed
a +10 bonus). If the weapon is not
magical, at least a +1 enhancement bonus
12
must be added before any other
properties (excluding flaming) can be
added. These bonuses and properties are
decided when the providence pool point
is spent and cannot be changed until the
next time the angelic paragon uses this
ability. These bonuses do not function if
the weapon is wielded by anyone other
than the angelic paragon. An angelic
paragon can only enhance one weapon in
this way at one time. If she uses this
ability again, the first use immediately
ends.

Soulfire (Su): By expending a point of
providence as a standard action the
angelic paragon causes one target with
100 ft. to burst aflame with soulfire. This
deals 1d6 points of damage + 1d6 points
of damage for every two angelic paragon
levels she gains after 1st level (2d6 at 3rd,
3d6 at 5th, 4d6 at 7th , Etc.) A successful
Reflex Save (DC 10 + 1/2 the angelic
paragon’s class level + her Cha modifier)
results in half damage. Half the damage
dealt by soulfire is fire damage, but the
other half results directly from holy
power and is therefore not subject to
being reduced by resistance to fire-based
attacks. At 6th level she can activate this
as a move action.
Any non-good, living creature that
would be killed by soulfire damage must
make a Will saving throw (DC 10 +1/2 the
angelic paragon’s class level + her Cha
modifier); failure renders the subject
under the effects of a sequester spell with
a permanent duration, caster level equal
to her angelic paragon level

Truespeech (Su): By expending one
point of providence as an immediate
action the angelic paragon can speak
with any creature that has a language, as
though using a tongues spell (caster level
equal to her angelic paragon level). At
10th level this becomes a constant ability
so long as she possesses one providence
point in her pool.

Background:

Griffith was born 543 years ago in the country of Cheliax to a minor noble house, House Leodian. Griffith being the second born had to make a namesake for himself. Griffith became a soldier, with sword in hand he would bring honor to his family. At the age of 30, after surviving many battles under the watchful eye of Ragathiel, Griffith became a priest of Ragathiel preaching about honor and vengeance against wrongdoers.

On a cold winter night, Griffith found an old man outside begging for copper coins so he could eat. Griffith took the man into his home, allowing him to eat, bathe and sleep. The old man said he couldn't repay him but said "surely the heavens would". The very next day, Griffith found the old man dead in his bed. 13 years had passed since that day, Griffith became bedridden with illness. One night while laying down in his bed in agony, three angels visited him. Rewarding him for his piety and kindness, they brought him to heaven and transformed the broken man into a Grigori, an angel at the bottom of the hierarchy. Baptized by holy light and given his true name: Caisramriel. He was sent back to the material plane with a new purpose.

Now reborn Caisramriel took on his old name of Griffith to hide his true name from those that would try to banish or bind him. Griffith left the country of Cheliax, disgruntled with the devil worship and ills that swept the nation. Griffith traveled to Magnimar to championing the weak and taking care of those that couldn't help themselves, to rebuild himself. Griffith found a young maiden living on the street, the two bonded and eventually eloped. The young woman died during childbirth giving birth to a female Aasimar, naming her Oriel. Griffith raised Oriel on the virtues of kindness and rights from wrongs. When young Oriel was eight years old she went missing, this sent Griffith into a righteous fury. Griffith eventually found leads about a man from Korvosa named Geadren Lamm, it would turn out numerous children have gone missing and the fingers point to Geadren. On that day Griffith swore an Oath on on the name of Ragathiel and by his angelic blood he would avenge the wronged family and put an end to Geadren as he poured his own blood on his bastard, taking back up his sword after 500 years of disuse.

After finding his daughter, Griffith needed to leave the corrupt city. With no where left to go, Griffith traveled with Oriel to Lastwall, knowing that she would be safe in the ancient fortress of Vigil. Seeking an audience with the knight commander, Watcher-Lord Ulthun II. Griffith explained his newly found divine purpose to Ulthun II, asking him to be a guardian to his daughter, to teach her the ways of good and of Ragathiel along with other goodly deities. Griffith cut of lock of his hair to and gave his silver holy symbol of Ragathiel to Oriel as keepsakes."Be strong for me my child. You're in good hands, they will protect you and train you better than I could. I will return to you, if not you have my hair to one day bring me back, if not we will meet in heaven. Remember your nightly prayers, pray for me." Griffith wiped away her tears, donned his weather cloak. Once outside he looked to the north,"Ragathiel, watch over me." Carrying his bastard, the battle weary priest headed north, finally beginning his pilgrimage into the poisoned hellscape of the Worldwound.

Appearance and Personality:

Griffith/Caisramriel take the apperance of a fairly tall man, standing at 6ft 3in. Due to Caisramriel's angelic essence, his material form is near perfect, heavily muscled with little to no fat, pale skin that has an unnatural glow, silver coloured irises, silver and platinum coloured hair. If Caisramriel so wills it, he can manifest a golden halo that shines a heavenly light. Caisramriel still bears his priestly robes, red and gold robes embroidered with five wings and a Bastard sword on back, along with a tabard embroidered with a great fortress under a mountain and angels fighting devils, which he wears proud in reverence to Ragathiel. His most cherished item is his Bastard sword, A blade that he has carried for over 500 years and the last token of his former life. The is of master craftsmanship, with winged cross guard and a pommel crown of the top of it which houses a large garnet. The blade is the envy of any would be hero.

When Caisramriel manifests his celestial armour over his priestly robes, it takes the form of a brilliant set of Mithral fullplate, front of which takes the form of a muscular body. With winged and feather motifs, his priestly robes hide his celestial greaves, only revealing a pair of winged sabatons from under the gold trimmed robes. His pauldrons take on the motif of a gold dragon and the other pauldron that of a silver dragon. Lastly, resting upon his head is beautiful winged helmet to protect his face from the claws of demon or devils.

Caisramriel is a kind fellow, willing to help out those and strives to do good. While he is kind, Caisramriel is no push over and will enact a righteous fury upon those that hurt his loved ones and allies. Caisramriel stands up for all that is good, championing the downtrodden and those that cannot help themselves.
