Description
=================================================
Bodrik was unusual even as a child. Prone to quiet contemplation, his father Gerrik, a merchant distantly related to the noble familty of Lebeda through marriage, soon realized his disposition was well matched to the persuit of arcane knowledge. During the early morning hours he listened to his father ply his trade along Lake Reykal and in the afternoon he studied with his tutors. And he had many tutors, if only because they found him frustratingly strange though exceedingly bright. While he enjoyed his arcane studies, he was far more fascinated with the creation of golems. Soon his elementary forays into primal creation met surprising results. Though not particularly sophisticated his first golem was a fusion of arcane power and clockwork engineering. However, to continue he needed more supplies. Taking his fathers lessons to heart he began trading with the merchants with whom his father had made great profits over the years, securing metals, crystals, tools, and reagents. Years and years of effort, mistakes, and sweet successes later Bodrik has managed to build his golem into a true work of art. But this is only the begining. A very small begining. To achieve the grand creation Bodrik desires he will need the wealth of a kingdom. Fortunately, an opportunity has presented itself.
