Background:
Augustus was born in the Chelish city of Corentyn. His father was a knight opposed the House of Thrune and because of this they were forced to cross the Inner Sea and take refuge in the city of Azir.

Augustus lived a decent childhood, learning the ways of knighthood from his father during the day showing natural talent for mounted combat. He also got used to doing odd jobs for the merchants around the city for extra coin since his family was somewhat poor. While he wasn't training or looking for work his mother taught him the ways of Abadar in secret, as religion is forbidden in Rahadoum.

Augustus developed a self serving personality, realizing that he could get farther in life serving himself than any god or king. He became a sword for hire and headed east as soon as he was sixteen, taking any job that promised gold and a decent story to boast about. About four years later he has earned a reputation for being arrogant, brave and greedy, often taking on near impossible jobs to increase his fame and glory.

Hearing rumors about the ancient tombs of Osirion and the wealth they promised, Augustus decided to head to the city of Sothis, eventually meeting Abbe Barakat, an Osirian native. Abbe promised Augustus more wealth and fame than he could imagine if he were to help him get to the city of Wati, where many adventurers were gathering for a chance to enter the ancient tombs. Agreeing to the terms the two set out from the city of Eto across the desert eventually making it to their destination in Wati. Now Augustus waits for his chance to take on the tombs of Osirion.

Appearance and Rumors:
At a glance Augustus is large human male. He has dark shoulder length hair, with piercing green eyes and skin that has tanned in the Rahadoumi and Thuvian sun. He is about 6'1" and appears to be very muscular, leading most people to consider him a simple brute. After dealing with him though most realize he is intelligent as well as strong and was clearly taught more than how to fight as a child.

Anyone that has heard of Augustus knows he is a reliable warrior, always earning his keep and making sure the job gets done.

Augustus also likes to brag and boast about past jobs he completed, making sure others know his name and deeds. He particularly likes to tell the story of how he once killed an entire war band of orcs single handed, even if it isn't entirely true.

Those that deal with Augustus quickly realize that he can be brash and aggressive, often taking over a conversation and making sure he is heard. They also realize that he is a decent person, even if he tends to be difficult to deal with at times.
