Well if we are going down the route of useful spell casting items for a relatively low level game which is, of course, underwater. Some things that I would personally make sure to get would be:
Wand of Summon Monster II (50 charges) 1500gp
*reason Squid
Potion of Alter Self 100gp
*reason swim speed, AC bonus, and darkvision
Scroll of Polymorph
*Just in case

If your GM allows really expensive items
Gills of the Shark 30,000gp
*continuous water breathing as per the spell

The problem here is breathing...

Here just a few things that i would suggest for really any martial based character. Things such as Handy Harvard sack which have already been noted by other posters will not be mentioned here, but i agree with many of these items.

Potions: Because they're under used but worth every copper.
-Potion of haste (750gp)
-Potion of Ant all (50gp)
-Potion of Cats Grace (300gp)
-Potion of Owls Wisdom (300gp)
-Potion of Dark vision (750gp)

Wondrous items:
Glove of Final Fist
Aura: conjuration
Description:
Cost: 1,800gp
This item allows to cast the spell Ki Arrow on a command word once per day. The caster makes a ranged touch attack (with an arrow touched) against a foe up to 100 feet away, and the caster deals damage to the foe equal to his/her unarmed strike damage (Str included).

More to come...

You have converted me to the Boards-side, hax. Admittedly, i have tried to stay away because this will envelop my time.

Back tot the original topic as noted: Petition: I nominate Ashiel to work for Paizo as Rules Consultant
I have been gaming with Ashiel for the past eight years. So, I would bias like to nominate him for a paizo rules consultant; however, i would like to make a few objective statements about Ashiel as a Pathfinder/D&D enthusiast and as a DM.
-Ashiel has always found balanced ways to formulate characters, games, and tactics
-As a player, he forces a DM to appreciate the mechanics of the game (not as a munchkin). Ashiel has an astounding ability to make a character with a well thought out background and still have skills and talents that fit his story. What i am trying to say here is that he showed me that Pathfinder is not a game of power but a game of tactics and ingenuity. He has showed me that Pathfinder is not a table top version of some hack and slash side scroller. Each encounter is a game of chess where the first few moves can mean a swift encounter or certain death for some or all of the party members and potentially other npcs (not necessarily the ones that want to kill you).
-As a DM I have never hear him say "no" to a character idea (and their have been some outlandish ones). He has always formulated a way to make someones character dreams possible without being over powered or being overshadowed by rest of the party.
-Lastly, our gaming group has evolved in knowledge and tactics throughout our years of tabletop gaming. Above all I look for only two things in a game: for there to be an interesting story (if i find a book with a tenth of the story that our games have i am guaranteed to have just found a NYT best seller or a classic used in scholarly study) and a challenge (why would anyone play a game where victory was assured?). And, when i play in Ashiel's games i always find both.

i strongly advise using the magical artisan(FRCS) and excepttional Artisan (ECS) because they could reduce the cost of creation by 25% each.

Example use:
Card of infinite illusions
Aura minor illusion; CL 3th
Price 48,000gp; Weight--
DESCRIPTION
When a command word is thought/spoken the card allows the user to cast Minor Image which has a range of 520 ft.(notice same as earlier item except as charges) Affected creature(s) must make a DC 14 to disbelieve**
CONSTRUCTION
RequirementsCraft Wondrous Items, Minor Image; Cost 24,000gp
Formula:[Caster Level] 3 X [Spell Level] 2 X [Base for Use-activated or continuous] 2,000 X [Spells original duration measured in rounds] 4 = 48,000gp
________________________________
Cheapening: 24,000gp [price to craft] X .75 [25% discount bc/Magical Artisian] X .75[Exceptional Artisan: Wondrous item]= 13,500

If 15% reduction is allowed for specific class and/or alignment
13,500gp [new cost to craft the item] X .85 [15% reduction]=11,475gp

This means that it is about 48% cheaper than the original cost to create originally. This is nasty!!!

oh, BTW
I love your character idea he kinda reminds me of Gambit from X-Men

I was pretty sure that minor image is a second level spell... this is the one that you meant right
Minor Image
School illusion (figment); Level bard 2, sorcerer/wizard 2

Duration concentration + 2 rounds

This spell functions like silent image, except that minor image includes some minor sounds but not understandable speech.

this is the one that you meant right if not i can remake for convience

Sounds interesting.

I got a Gnome Illusionist that also entertains with card tricks. Although its 3.5 the craft rules are very similar minus exp usage.

What I got for cards using Minor Image.
-Only works for me.. could cost more if i can designate users.
-once a day or duration such as 1 hour per day with split of use.
-I can only make illusion cards of things I have encountered or studied in a book. The book illusions would have a lower DC (Looks like a 3D picture)
-Might have a CR or such limit so just cause I seen the elder dragon dont mean I could make a reusable illusion of one

Using this we are trying to justify a Balance cost that does not set me back too far as it has limitations.

This of course is using Craft Wondrous Item feat.
He can already scribe spells on to cards.

Working on imbuing cards with various effects like above from different spells of different levels.

DrkMagusX wrote:

If you want to use the alternative magic item creation rules in 3.5, then you could reduce the cost by as much as 15 to 30 percent (specific class and alignment to use magic items).*(using alt sources form 3.0 and 3.5 for magic item creation)

DrkMagusX wrote:

You may want to use permanent image because the other image spells (silent, minor, major, persistent)have a very short duration.

I am not entirely sure of that one, to my knowledge i think that can be 3D even if you read about them in a book. why shouldnt summon a popup picture when you can imagine what it would be like based on its characteristics. As for if you have never hear or seen of the creature your trying to create then i might say something about that (if i were the DM)

DrkMagusX wrote:

The only limit you have is the area of the effect which is based on level. Example: you have an effect area of 10ft cube. You may create any creature that could fit inside a 10ft cube (large creatures).

*If you want to make the magic items (better) cheaper you might want to look in the Eberron Campaign Setting and the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. both have feats that can reduce magic item creation cost by 25% and stack (if specified)

DrkMagusX wrote:

When you do the Once per day are you basicly casting the spell from the caster level that created the item for things such as duration. Here is what I trying to do.

Imbue a card with a set illusion that can be use once per day or later as many times as want. Using the Minor Image spell from 3rd level caster.
Xion walks up pulls a card and sets it on the ground. *Poof* There stands what appears to be a bug bear looking menacing at you.

For your first question, you always use the (emulated*) caster level of the caster who made the item.

*When creating a magic items the caster may choose to make the magic item at a lower caster level (to a minimum of the minimum caster level needed to cast the spell). If the caster decides to do this then you would use the “emulated” caster level to determine factors such as duration.

Formula:[Caster Level] 3 X [Spell Level] 2 X [Base for Command Word or Thought] 1,800 = 10,800gp
**Remember that the subject(s) do not get a save unless they interact with it
P.S. You probably could win back all your gold in cards with this up your sleeve

Alternatively, if you wanted to be able to use it at anytime (aka as many times as you want) you could make this Swiss-army knife of an item.

Card of infinite illusions
Aura minor illusion; CL 3th
Price 48,000gp; Weight--

P.S. Forgetting wining back your money in card games, you could cause a kingdom to collapse as you make them believe that countries are plotting against them, betrayal of those they trust, and presumed destruction of everything that they hold dear (remember that life is but a dream).

By the way, if you want mess with people using this magic item it would probably be very strategic to sneak up on them (or otherwise break line of sight so they don’t see you using this items) and then use it on them. You could make a king believe that his dearest queen (which you have kidnapped) was kidnapped by a small band of assassins wearing the insignia of another nearby kingdom. This is how the war begins. If you really want the gold back go to the other kingdom and tell them at you will give her to them in exchange for mmmm…. 48,000gp.

how does one calculate the acrobatics check to move acrobatically through an enemies space while invisible.

generally speaking I dont think an acrobatics check is needed to move around a target when your invisible and they have no way of detecting you. but what if your having a battle in a hallway and members of one group want to pass behind members of the other group in order to flank.

they go invisible and attempt to move through the enemy square.

im sure you cant simply move through right?

Actually, if the opponents don't know of their attackers presence then they do not get to act as if they do; for instance, the invisible player would not be subject to attacks of opportunity because his opponents would have succeeded on their stealth check which is possible not because of his two allies in front of him but the TOTAL CONCEALMENT given to him by invisibility. So in shot, if the player makes his stealth (with his nice +20) check high enough that his opponents cannot see him then he will not need to make an acrobatics check. The only "new" aspect about the player is that if for some reason he decides to attack his opponent while in his same square and thus loose his invisibility he will now be squeesing with this opponent; however, strategically this is a poor idea because of the reduction in AC from squeezing and by jumping the gun he may attack the opponent while in front of them and not receive flanking bonuses.

To give an example, it would be like a wealth nobleman trying to count his gold from his most recent shady deal in a narrow alleyway. Then an invisible rouge (+20 form stealth; +10ish from ranks, having it as a class skill; 18 Dex;, and no other items to help his stealth that he should have included in his estimated wealth by level)(this would be a 3rd level rouge) making a DC 40 stealth check by taking ten alone. The rouge then notices that the nobleman has his back to him and is using a barrel in the alleyway to sort and count his coin. The rouge knows that the local patrol is headed this way and he wants to take advantage of the distraction that they will cause when they talk to the nobleman. The rouge needs to get around the unaware nobleman (a passive perception of 16 or 20 reasonably, aristocrat) so that he will be ready for the taking when the time is right. All that the rouge needs to do is walk by the man, given that the rouge will be a closer proximity than casually walking down street by his lonesome; however, this is a rouge he is skilled and more than use to getting mere centimeters without being noticed. The rouge then proceeds to quietly walk around the man and barrel to the other side.

How the rouge got away:
When the local guard came by so see what the nobleman was up to, the nobleman quickly turned his back to the barrel and the money. The local guardsman spoke and said: "Who are you and what are you doing luring in this dark alleyway." The Nobleman replied that a rude man had threw his coin-purse into this alleyway after he refused to by his wares. The guards believe his story and offered to help him. This did not matter because at the same time that the nobleman turned his back the rouge had already seized the gold an then felt content acting like he was attending a ninja tea party. Then the rouge left gold in had and trying to decide what would be harder to hold more gold or his laughter when the nobleman realizes that his gold his gone and that his story of lost gold will no longer work.

Some random ones that i think would be cool would be:
-Polymorph (hydra when grappled)
- (elemental when hit with a particular type of damage)
- when dropped in water (gain a swim speed and allow your self to breath and cast unencumbered underwater)
- ext.
-Dispel/ greater, dispel (when hit with an debuff of a particular school)
-phantom steed (when you say "mount up")
-A Heightened light or daylight spell (when in magical darkness)

As mentioned before quick buffs, evading melee combat, and fall back for dieing are wonderful ways to use this spell.

My biggest problems with alignment have been poor DMs forcing alignment on me for doing something that they deemed bad(a good parallel would be j-walking in an empty street). Following their scolding (which when about the same way as a twelve year old scolding a 6 year old for trying to eat his own candy he got for tricker-treating), they told me that I would be docked experience for not acting according to my alignment.

My old DM also believe that neutral characters had to level out all of their actions that he associated with a particular alignment with another action of the opposite one. This was just like saying after my character helped put out the fire on an orphanage he then had to go slaughter every orphan inside with his bare-hands.

In my games, I typically ignore most alignment based spells (if at all possible) and allow my player to try to use it as a way of adding depth or role-playing their characters; however, in the cases of monsters who have spell like or at will abilities that are alignment based, my players do get to feel the mechanical repercussions of choosing an inferior alignment.
