Background
Almander Kane fought his way to respect. His family long chastised and expelled from the circles of Chelish nobility, Almander found work teaching young students of the house Jaggare. His gift at swordplay kept his belly full of food, while his heart filled with hate. Disgusted by Chelish opulence, Almander can hardly contain his hatred for the spoiled students he teaches, if only he could find a way out. If only he could restore his family’s name.
