DESCRIPTION:

Akbari is child of two peoples, born of a Garundi mother and a Keleshite father, and his features speak of that, and potentially to a past noble ancestor. His skin has been darkened by birth and the sun. His eyes are a dark brown color, as is his long hair that usually covers his pointed ears. He has an athletic body, graceful and muscled from long years of running, climbing, and traveling through the desert. He carries a large two-handed scimitar on his back along with a pack, and his hot weather clothing of white is paired with his leather lamellar armor.

BACKGROUND:

Akbari was born of a Garundi mother and a Keleshite father, who met while working together on an archaeological dig with others. The two shared an interest in the past and discovering new secrets. Long nights of drinking while discussing such subjects as philosophy, history, and morality lead to Akbari being conceived. This made things all the harder for his father who couldn't give up on his profession and kept visiting new dig sites, coming home when he could. So Akbari was mostly raised by his mother Kahina in Wati, but his father Bahram tried to be around as often as he could.

Akbari spent a lot of time with his childhood friend Raziya. They were inseparable (and some would jokingly say insufferable), getting into all sorts of trouble, and going places in Wati that they shouldn't. One of those times, they snuck in to a shop and were 'borrowing' some things when a human man stopped them. He made sure there was no trouble and the items were put back. Then he took them both to get some lunch and talked at length with them. His name was Dahrehn, and he saw in the two potential for something better. So he walked them home and spoke with their parents. The two began training, and Dahrehn was a good but strict teacher, who liked to play just as hard when the work was done. he taught the two about survival, animals, not just seeing but hearing and smelling and other ways to notice things. Unfortunately, he disappeared before the training was complete, off in the desert somewhere, and Akbari is going to try and find him one day. He just needs more practice and enough money to not only mount an expedition but perhaps pay for more information as well.
